Blush’s Neo Elite is the cheapest lineup of dual-density dildos that I would trust is 100% platinum-cure silicone (the body-safe stuff!). Starting at under $24, Blush has managed to make these dual-layer dildos—whose production requires more time and labor than single-layer toys do—available for costs that can retail for between $29.95 and $35.99. And the feel is pretty good!

Neo Elite includes 8 phallic toy shapes now: comparison here. The NON-glow Neo Elite all made up of the same silicones, each one is a suction cup dildo, but they definitely don’t feel the same. (Due to their different shapes, core sizes, and surface textures!) And Neo Elite Glow looks cool: but the silicone is a tad firmer outside, so they don’t feel quite as good inside the body, IMO.

The Naked Addiction Dual Density Dildo is a great penis stand-in if you are not into coronal ridges that tug for G-spot stimulation or prostate play! Its smaller tip + gently expanding shape make it less imposing.

You can’t truly discuss a skin-like feel without covering silicone finish. Platinum silicone can be glossy or draggy, the same way it can range from super-squishy to almost-plastic-hard.

The Naked Addiction Dual Density Dildo has a delightful finish, 9/10 real feel for under $60. It feels intriguing in hand; I just want to keep fondling it, especially the soft, scrotum-texture of this dildo with balls. So many little skin lines, plus a *bump* in the middle of the sack for rubbing your external bits on.

Naked Addiction is a great balance between smooth and draggy—right in the middle. It’s a Goldilocks amount of drag. Thrust it by hand, or ride it using the strong suction cup base—with good lube, this realistic silicone will glide beautifully. With its 5.5 inch realistic length, it’s not too long to sit on (if, like me, you’re not into depth play).

For years (before Solina dildos), I found the N.A. dual the best ultra realistic for under $100. But the one thing that made BMS’s Naked Addiction Dual Density not *perfect* for me? The head is tapered, a teeny bit slimmer than the thickest shaft width (1.5″ diameter). That makes it easier to insert anally, but vaginally I like those big ridges for more G-spot stimulation. Part of the bestselling VixSkin lineup, Mustang is Vixen Creation’s most fan-favorited toy by far. Mustang’s shaft is a delicate balance, quite realistic when lubed up. (Like a silicone-lube-covered penis sliding nicely.) And though Mustang is a crowd favorite, you may very well be drawn to the impressively large Vixen Creations Outlaw, or the slender Spur.

The glans (cock head) is squashy-gummy soft. And if a toy’s head is that squishy, I also need it to be LARGE and stick out more. My G-spot wants the attention; more protruding = better Gspot stimulation. And Mustang gives that, with a big mushroom curve. The extra-pronounced nature of Mustang’s ridge and curved shaft counteract the “slightly flaccid” effect that I frequently get from Vixen VixSkin dildos.

IMO, Mustang’s head is best suited for hard and fast thrusting. If you’re sensitive, you can go as speedily as you want, still with no discomfort. And Mustang glides when lubed, so slick. If only its weak-ish suction cup was stronger, to stick well to a fucking machine!

Uberrime Dildos has upgraded how realistic their toys look in the past 2 years: with a wider range of dual-density silicone. Seen below are 1) Maxime, which has the best G-spot pressure; 2) Optimo; and 3) Teres, great for thrusting.

These dual layer toys stand out because they have thicker firm cores, making them more stable—more consistently erect, if you will—during faster thrusting. They bend less than the Neo Elite 7.5 Inch, or the VixSkin Mustang.

Handmade in Florida, Uberrime realistic dildos have sparkly (and safe) pigments, even in the flesh-tone colors! Independent makers rarely manage to produce two-layer dildos—there’s too much potential for failure. But Uberrime’s Marco has spent years perfecting the process. Uberrime’s Splendid was the first dual-density toy I ever had from a small artisan maker—the ability to pull off two-layer toys consistently is very rare!

#6: RealCock 2: The MOST Real Dildo? NOPE.

TL;DR: If you’re gonna put out $500 for a realistic dildo experience, buy a Premium sex machine and a cheaper dual-density silicone attachment that pairs with it. (I always use my Solina ultra-realistic dildo on the Hismith fucking machine, now.) Together, they will do the work for you—much easier than the RealCock 2 dildo.

I thought I’d made this guide *definitive* once I got a RealCock 2, the most premium faux-erection in production. By “premium,” I mean expensive. This is one fookin’ expensive dildo. My RealCock 2 Dirk looked soooo beautiful at first, I was enthralled:

But then, by a few weeks in, the problems. Oh, all the problems with this $600 hyper-realistic dildo. 1.) The density balance is not perfect, even for over a half-grand: the silicone outside feels squidgier than an erect penis head. 2.) The massive balls + huge skin flap make it ultra-difficult to thrust by hand. 3.) I don’t think the RealCock2 is 100% silicone, I think it’s a TPE + silicone blend. Because: mine got an infection. Seriously. I had 10 other silicone toys in a drawer touching it when I got a Dialister bacteria vag. infection (from receiving oral from a non-monogamous partner, huge mistake), and this Realcock was the only sex toy that got nasty. Developed blisters all over its balls. Disgusting. Though I sanitized the lifelike dildo with 70% isopropyl alcohol, its boils will never go away.

Though the RealCock 2s claim to be ultra-realistic, and they do feel good at first, but other customers have also found they degrade over time, plus Abyss/RealDoll isn’t fulfilling orders promptly as of early 2024.

Addendum: Soft Single-Density

Especially for larger dildos and/or for anal play, soft-soft silicone toys are super popular. SquarePegToys and Hankey’s Toys (get 75% Soft firmness for toys up to 6.5″ circumference, or 30% Soft firmness for the big’uns) are the best makers of realistic lifecasts (bodysafe materials, of course: 100% handmade platinum silicone).

Again, be sure to avoid King Cock PVC realistic dildos, which are a trash material. Both SquarePeg and Hankey’s are known for SUPER-sizing it: making many huge dildos, girthy realistic ones, and extra-long dildos too; though average-size options are available as well! I’ll talk about those biggies and other kinda-soft-silicone, mass-produced toys here. These are highly preferred if you’re looking for a comfortable anal dildo; their soft silicone will bend with your rectum. • SquarePegToys realistic lifecasts include Leo (the most popular, a long ‘un), Nathan, Mel, and Dirk. SquarePeg was the first maker to create truly soft silicone dildos (in 2006), and they deserve mad respect for that!!! See my full SquarePegToys SuperSoft realistic comparison here. The Leo, Dirk, and the Steve are now my favorites because I just can’t choose: with Leo being extra-long, and Steve being the G-spot (or P-spot) focused choice; while for Dirk, I’m digging the foreskin looks and the thickness of the 1X size. • Mr. Hankey’s Toys makes many porn-star lifecasts these days (I’ve reviewed a couple!), plus realistic “not based on an actual person” dildos. Many users interpret the squish of Hankey’s 75% Soft silicone as “skin-like.” I think the finish is awesome: like the BMS Naked Addiction Dual Density, it’s halfway between slick and draggy. The soft silicone gliiiiides with lube. It’s smooth enough, but not so smooth that I can’t feel the skin detailing. (And u should know I love the skin detailing.) Since I often interpret “very soft” (about 00-50 shore durometer and below¹) as “semi-flaccid,” I like Hankey’s Toys best with a vibe stuck in their Vac holes. Topher Michels’s short thickness is awesome with a strong vibe inside—my favorite vibrating dildo.
• Fleshjack Boys/Fleshlight Guys dildos are lifecast porn star cocks as well. These are about an 8 to 9A shore durometer, so technically about the firmness of an erection—just without the same soft skin feel, since if you go more erection-like for the whole, it can’t be super-soft outside. The bases on these things are chunky due to the balls, but all include a Tantus-esque suction cup that sticks into a hole in the base. (This setup is slightly wobbly and works better stuck to horizontal surfaces than vertical ones, so gravity isn’t pulling the toy off the insert.)
