Wellness Imara Vibrator Review – STRONG Vaginal Egg

“It’s the Power Vibe motor!” I thought, turning on Wellness Imara. Blush Novelties’ power-vibe toys—the Limited Addiction Bullet & Wellness Power Vibe—are the strongest bullet vibrators I’ve ever felt, for holding against the clitoris.

But Imara here is a “love egg” vibrator: You can insert it into the vagina, walk around with it inside. So, it’s the first wearable vibrator I’ve found that’s stronger than Lovense Lush, and doesn’t creep out of my vagina constantly like Lush does.

I missed it years ago, when Wellness Imara was Sola Pip (also by Blush Novelties). Now, I got a pile o’ wearable Gspot vibrators, and here’s how Imara compares:

My Experience

It’s more fun to walk around wearing than the Lovense Lush, IMO. Wellness Imara has a symmetrical egg shape with a tiny loop. It doesn’t stick way out:

Meaning, it doesn’t push itself out of my vagina so much. Lush is only a G-spot vibrator for me for about 50 feet into a walk. Then, it’s an external vibrator, because its beaked bulb is in my underwear, not inside my vagina anymore.

With Imara, walking while wearing rocks. It’s slightly rumblier than Lush, and just as powerful. (Imara feels just about equally strong in my hand, but is more resonant than Lush after Imara’s inserted vaginally.)

Imara’s vibration patterns are more fun vaginally than clitorally, IMO. One thrums and escalates in a thrusting-kinda way. That’s sensation-ful for both my favorite Imara uses:

  1. Walk around with it in. Best on a stress-free evening, how that evening strolls are pleasant. I wear it inside spandex shorts just in case it starts wiggling out.
  2. Insert it, then let Imara’s vibration roll as I play with a clitoral toy. (Unihorn Bean Blossom + Imara is the best. 🧨)

To get Imara situated for walking around in, I need to push it as deep as possible vaginally, up to my posterior fornix. The retrieval loop is barely visible 👀 peeking out my pouchy inner labia. A vibratory walk… that’ll liven up some normal exercise.

But most orgasmic is letting it vibe while I’m lying back in bed, coming clitorally. It’s another layer of feeling, for strong dual stimulation. Here, I love it pulsing as I feel my orgasm approaching. Imara is most intense with an air pulse toy [Unihorn Bean Blossom ($39.99) being my personal fave, but We-Vibe Melt ($149) & Satisfyer Pro 2 ($39.99-$49.99) & Rose Vibe ($42.99) are all popular choices.]

Imara’s shorter tail is also awesome because when you insert it vaginally, there’s no long tail getting in the way if you’re receiving oral sex from a partner. Mine Imara’s tail just barely is visible, against 1 puffy inner labia pouch. While giving head, they can also control the vibrator with the remote: increasing Imara’s strength as you get closer to coming.

The Wellness Imara’s remote control is rather large, a 2.3-inch-diameter circle. So, it’s not the smallest to fit into a tight pocket; but, on the other hand, that means it’s easier to not lose. (Its bright purple color also helps me spot it!) As someone who easily loses remote controls, that’s a pro for me. The separated buttons may also be more accessible for folks with larger fingers and/or difficulty with fine motor control. The remot control’s buttons are widely separated: the + increase-intensity button on the opposite side of the remote from the – decrease-intensity button, for example.

I’m focusing on Imara as a vaginal vibrator, but it can be a clitoral one too. (It should not be an anal vibrator, though, since it could very easily get sucked up insde the rectum’s vacuum.) You’d need to just hold it against the clitoris, or you could put it inside underwear that come with an open pocket.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Very strong vs. similar vibrators.
  • Smooth shape + no long tail = easier to keep in.
  • Remote lets you switch just between steady speeds, or patterns.
  • 5 levels from medium to strong.
  • Waterproof submersible.
  • Rechargeable, both vibe and remote.
  • Body-safe, smooth silicone w/ ABS plastic.
  • Wider remote vs. similar toys: Easier to not lose.

Cons

  • Wider remote vs. similar toys: Takes up more space in a pocket.
  • Charging port crevasse; medium-short battery life.
  • Stronger = slightly louder when worn outside.
  • Doesn’t provide pressure. Vaginal wearables just don’t press inward hard.

Vibration Functions & How-To

Imara has 10 vibration functions: that’s 5 steady speeds and 5 patterns. It starts up on the highest vibration intensity, but can be powered down. It runs from medium-strong to “the strongest bullet vibrator”-level power.

To power on and control the Wellness Imara egg vibrator:

  • Hold down the button on vibrator for 3 seconds.
  • It’ll light up, showing the toy’s in standby mode.
  • Press the power button in the center of the remote.
  • Then press either: (A) the – button to lower the steady speeds, then the + button to increase power; or (B) the left&right arrow buttons to access the 5 vibration rhythms.

Be sure to hold down the power button on Imara’s body for about 5 seconds to power off, because it’ll remain in standby mode and drain battery if you don’t.

Recharging & Battery Life

Both the Imara vibe and its remote are USB rechargeable, via a charger with 2 insertion prongs (so you charge both simulataneously, from the same USB outlet).

With a 1 hour, 45-minute run time, Imara has speed 🏃‍♂️ and decent endurance. (It’s like a fast 10k runner, not a marathoner.)1 To charge, just stick one metal charger prong into each hole, on the vibrator and the remote:

Make sure the vibrator is fully dried before charging. Its charging-port design (an ABS plastic hole with a slight crevasse in which fluids might rest) should not have water or excess lube remaining when you insert the charger. Imara’s claimed to be IPX7, but I bet it’s got better longevity when only splashed, not submerged, due to this not-smart charger design.

How to Clean

To clean, wash the Imara vibrator well with any hand-soap under running water. Shake off excess water when you’re done washing.

I’d recommend using only water-based lubricant vaginally around Imara use, since anything thicker could gunk up the charging port hole. You might use the tip of a wet Q-tip in this nook if you find you’ve left lubricant or other fluids in it:

Recap & Rating

Imara is just joltin’ strong for a wearable vibe. The vibrations really roll & thrum vaginally, as Imara’s oval bulb is nestled back, running from behind the cervix to at my G-spot. It’s moving with vibration, though not delivering pressure or thrusting:

So, it makes sense for any of: livening up a walk outside; putting it before getting cunnilingus; OR my favorite, Imara’s vibration pulsing away as I get my clit pulsed by a “suction” toy like the Unihorn, the Melt or the Moon vibe.

Note

  1. Blush for some reason lists its run-time as only 45 minutes, but I expect somebody left off an hour when inputting that product data, because mine absolutely runs for 1 hour 46 minutes when I’m using it at all speed levels: changing from low to high, and between patterns here and there.
