Rose Vibrator Review: Strongest Toy Under $40

The Inya Rose Vibrator is *intense* stimulation. Like, BLOW ME AWAY clit suction. By far the strongest sex toy for under $40 I’ve felt, among many hundreds of vibrators. The Rose vibrator starts out with a bang, truly. Expect no gentle warmup: the Inya Rose (by NS Novelties) has 3 steady vibrating-pulsing intensity settings, all of them powerful. Don’t let its cute flower look fool you: this is a power tool, for clitoral stimulation.

For such a low price, this amount of strength is NUTS. It pulses air like a Satisfyer or Womanizer, but then it also vibrates. The Inya Rose vibe by NS Novelties feels stronger than the We-Vibe Melt ($149.99) or Womanizer Classic ($129), on top speed for each air pulsation clit stimulator.

This Rose vibrator review will cover its in and outs: all its intensity levels, how easy it is to use, and how to charge and clean the Rose. In short, I would recommend the Inya Rose to any strong clit toy fan, but NOT to anyone who needs gentler speeds. The Inya Rose doesn’t allow for a caressing warmup — a gradual buildup of intensity — like its luxury-level competitors, the Melt and Womanizer suction stimulators; and I’ll tell you about my preferred alternative in My Experience, next.

My Rose Suction Vibe Experience

Listen, for only $42 (before 10% discount), I was pretty sure this “Viral Rose sex toy”‘s popularity was pure hype — before I opened my Rose’s box. Take note: Not all Rose vibrators out there are equally strong, so I’ve put together a power-comparison guide here. But the NS Novelties Inya Rose I got is like: GODDAMN this is crazy!

I turned this thing on the first time and immediately discarded my low expectations for the Rose. In fact, I couldn’t even use it directly at first, I wasn’t turned on and ready for the fast-paced stimulation.

The Rose vibrator rumbles, and it pulses, and it sucks some too. All at the time time. Fast, and strong.

I do think it suctions well. (Most air pulsation stimulators just puff air outward, don’t suction inward.) Sure, the Inya Rose doesn’t pull in and stick hard to your vulva like Maia Destiny does. But it’s easy to get an airtight fit, so I feel the Inya Rose vibrator’s inside rim tugging on my labia slightly. As it pulse-vibrates in its extreme way.

Personally, the intensity is tough for me; I always use the Inya Rose on low and wish I could turn it down some. I’ve gone up to speed #2 or #3 for a while, and been incredibly stimulated. Since I’m fairly sensitive clitorally, I actually find it harder to orgasm when something is too strong. (As well as when it’s buzzy & weak.) So testing the Inya Rose has brought me orgasms, but slow-building ones as I navigate through its POWER. I’ve switched to the patterned speeds for a bit of relief from the steady intensities; function #9 is a quick breath of fresh air, before I get a little irritated by the up-and-down intensity jumps in that pattern. Since I like to have my clit massaged, not blown away… Yeah, I’d absolutely buy the Satisfyer Pro 2 Gen. 3 first.

Lovehoney Rose sex toy review
Lovehoney’s Rose toy, which isn’t a vibrator like the Inya Rose.

…I need some warmup, and might start with one of the lower-powered Roses, like Lovehoney Rose or the Flower Power. In short, choosing between Rose vibrators all depends on how much strength you need to orgasm. I like moderately powerful, but not BOWL ME OVER right on my clit like the Inya Rose.

Essentially, the Inya Rose is like the Doxy wand of suction vibrators. That means: It’ll beat you over the (clit) head with its power — except the Rose doesn’t carry a hefty price tag like a Doxy Die Cast ($189).

Vs. the Lelo Sona, the Rose vibrator reminds me of Sona 2’s top intensity: on this one “clit megaphone” setting the Sona 2 has. On the Rose’s top speed, function #3 of 10, I can’t use it for more than a minute or everything gets soooo tingly! But the Rose’s suction “mouth” is wider, and I can’t see it facing critism like the Sona 2’s smaller, tight inside rim. If you have a very large, protruding clitoris (like it sticks out more than an inch from your vulva), then Satisfyer products like Curvy 1+ are still the best — but that’s a rarer thing. I’d bet the Rose will fit over 99% of clits just fine.

Rose vibrator_ NS Inya Review, suction mouth size in hand

The Rose “bulb” body sits comfortably in my palm. I also really like closing it between my thighs, tight, and rocking my hips so I feel like my clit is fucking that air-pulsing mouth. When the Rose’s stimulation gets too intense for my sensitive clit (a common thing), then I’ll move the mouth down to below my clit, where my clitoral hood ends right in front of my urethra. For a break. When I’ve gotten used to the OMG power of the Rose toy, usually 15 minutes in after a few such breaks, then I’m finally able to orgasm. By rocking it gently until I can let go and pulling the mouth back, a quarter inch away from my skin, as I orgasm. Because you cannot turn down the intensity quickly on this sex toy. For $41.99, I think it’s a forgivable flaw in the Inya Rose toy.

The circular mouth does suction well, as mentioned. The Rose petals are slightly lower down, and flexible, so they don’t poke. This Rose’s only thorns are it’s tremendous power — not suitable for anyone who needs a more delicate, or gradually progressing, clit stimulation experience.

It is so cute, do you even need to hide the Rose? I can totally see leaving this toy out on a nightstand or bathroom counter absentmindedly even if you live with kids or other family you don’t want inspecting your sexual wellness collection. 😉 It’s home decor, right?!

Rose Vibration Intensities & Functions

The Inya Rose Suction Vibe has 10 functions. All 10 combine:

You turn on the Rose vibrator by pressing the single control button quickly, then keep pressing it to cycle through the next 9 vibing-pulsing functions. Three of the 10 functions are steady speeds, and the remaining seven are patterned vibration / rhythms.

It’s like NS Novelties packed the We-Vibe Melt’s intensity levels # 8 to 10 into the Inya Rose, and discarded the first 7 lower speeds. I like building up intensity on the Baci personally, and feel it gives me better orgasms. But if you’re someone who jumps straight to the higher speeds when using a clitoral stimulator, then the Rose is an amazing bargain — and still 100% body-safe materials despite its cheaper price.

As mentioned, there are many Rose vibrators out there now, by different Chinese sellers and manufacturers. This review covers the one by NS Novelties, which has a practically fierce motor; it does not apply to the Sohimi Rose and others.

How to Charge the Rose Vibrator / Cleaning

The charging base is nice on this Rose vibrator. It makes it seemer even cuter and discreeter. You charge the Rose vibrator by lining up the magnetic prongs on the Rose’s bottom with the nodes on the flat base. You may need to twist the Rose a little to get the magnets to line up correctly: the power button should be right above where the cord emerges from the charging base. You’ll know it’s charging when the power button flashes on and off.

This suction stimulator is a smooth, medium-firm silicone. Like any good body-safe sex toy, it will not degrade when touching other safe toys, nor will the Rose harbor bacteria over time (like how jelly toys get gross).

Since the Inya Rose suction vibe is waterproof, you can take it in the shower or lie back in the bath with it underwater.

It’s more work cleaning around the petals in this clitoral stimulator than most toys. The Rose really requires water-based lubricant, and that and your own fluids will sit in the gaps between “petals” if the toy isn’t cleaned right after you’re done using it (and maybe even then). The petals are flexible enough that you can push them back to clean the fluids off, it just takes a minute or two longer than a normal suction stimulator.

The Rose’s inner mouth is big enough to stick your little finger in, and run it around inside it too to get lube out. DO NOT stick your finger in and scrub if you have long & pointy nails, which will damage the silicone. Use a Q-tip and/or trim your nails first. And, I would not recommend sanitizing this toy with 70% isopropyl alcohol or 10% bleach solution, as the petals are more difficult to remove those cleaning agents from, plus the gold finish on the ABS plastic underneath the Rose might be affected. You can use a tea-tree-oil-based cleaner instead.

Inya Rose Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Incredibly strong for its affordable price.
  • Very orgasmic (“soul snatching”) for users who need powerful, focused clitoral stimulation.
  • Body-safe silicone.
  • Water-resistant & rechargeable.
  • Decent vibration, too.
  • As intense as Magic Wand, but easier to hold.
  • Cute & compact.

Cons

  • Zero gentle speeds to please sensitive clitorises.
  • Difficult to clean the Rose petal texture.

Rose Recap & Ranking

Calling all POWER LOVERS, the NS Inya Rose was made for strength. It’s calling me to employ a bad metaphor like “power through the roof!” because it’s insanely strong for a toy that’s only $37.80 with discount.

The trade-off for the Rose’s low price is NOT that it’s made of unsafe materials, happily. It’s great for anyone who wants a 100% strong toy! But… compared to more premium clit toys, the Rose fails in two ways:

  1. The speed range: It moves from “really strong” to “super-duper strong,” with no low settings.
  2. Single-button control: You can’t back down 1 function without hitting the power button 9 times.

The Rose is cute, waterproof, and has a safe silicone body (with nonporous ABS plastic bottom + charging base). The Rose suction vibrator packs so much into such a small (and adorable) shape. Ultimately, I personally won’t be using the Rose vibrator as an everyday toy because my clit is too sensitive for this product. It’s a “once in a blue moon” choice for my body, for when I want 💥💣 clit stimulation on, say, a super-PMS day. But what about you: How intense do you like your clit play?

  2. Do you know how deep the hole is? I’m thinking about getting it but I’m on testosterone, depth wise the Curvy 1+ is barely deep enough for me. Thank you!!

    • The Rose is going to be WAY too short for you if the Curvy 1+ is a tight fit! I don’t know of any air-pulse toys with a “throat” longer than the Curvy 1+ (except the Curvy 2+, which is longer but the mouth isn’t as wide; or the Curvy 2+, similar).

Have you seen the Vedo Grip?! I’m thinking it would be a better fit, especially if you’re still growing. It’s a vibrator instead of air pulsation, but Vedo makes nice strong vibe motors in general.

  3. I’ve noticed some conflicting information online regarding this toy’s waterproofness. NS Novelties say (on their site) that it’s only water resistant. Can I clean it straight under the faucet or will it become damaged? How do you clean it?

    Reply
    • “Water-resistant” or “splashproof” means IPX 4-6, tested to withstand sprays of splashing water. It can be washed in the sink just fine, and taken into the shower as well.

    • It carries a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty against defect. The Inya Rose is made by the manufacturer NS Novelties & their site has info.

However, reputable toy shops don’t accept products back if you simply don’t like them; that’s very different from a defect.

I’d compare customers who demand returns on working vibrators to someone ordering a meal at a restaurant, and then demanding a refund because the food didn’t taste like they expected it would. There was nothing wrong with the food, mind you; it just didn’t meet the idea the individual had about the flavor when ordering.

    • Absolutely, all Rose versions are going to be damn loud. Powerful toys are typically loud.

I like to recommend the Pillow Talk Racy as the best vibe that’s not loud & still has some good rumble & solid power; maybe a 7/10 for vibration intensity, which I actually prefer over the Rose’s super-strength!
