PegEm Prostate-Massage Dildo Review

How to Use the Peg’Em Dildo

Peg’Em is an intermediate level toy: 1.4 inch max. diameter at the head, and 1.6 inch diameter at the “bulge” in lower shaft. My boyfriend Travis had gotten back into anal play this year, and basically was starting from scratch, so we had to work through a few sets of beginner plugs, a slimmer vibrating plug, and a small dildo before he could take this toy comfortably.

Peg’Em has a wide-flared base to hold it in a harness; it’s for strap-on sex. (But you can hold it in your hand and thrust it manually too, if desired.)

Getting your butt lubed up is the crucial first step. Prelube, prelube, prelube! We’ve used a lube launcher with Sliquid Silk a couple times. When that wasn’t handy (the lube applicator went missing), we used Coconu, a new favorite of Travis’ for how damn slick it is.

Then, I’m putting on the harness and slotting Peg’Em through its O-ring. He’s prepared, using having worn a plug for a short time before. (Mood Naughty Large, or CalExotics Anal Exerciser large, compared here.)

I’m moving the Peg’Em’s head inside his hole, spreading the cheeks apart. He feels a pop as the head enters fully, past the anus. It’s squishiest in the head, the very-soft silicone most obvious at the uncored tip.

I’ll let the head rest in place, right inside his ass, while rocking my hips lightly. Teasing. But the ridges are the point, so those need to be used. He’s leaning forward, receiving as I start to thrust a little, gradually increasing the stroke length.

We’ve found that’s the most orgasmic result for him in the end: Me teasing his hole to start, and moving in increasing strokes; until finally I’m going at a good clip, and he’s sunk down into the pillows beneath, so ready to come.

Peg’Em Silicone Layers

Peg’Em (like most Pleasure Tailor toys) has 3 different layers of silicone (triple density), all cured together in one product. The multi-layers allow the finished product to be soft and comfortable—but to have a firmer core, so it bends less under pressure.

Anal thrusting can be a lot of pressure! So the Peg’Em’s core is central: it’s semi-flexible, but it’s not floppy. So it maintains better contact with the anterior anal wall, which the prostate is situated right behind. The middle layer is a squishy 00-30 Shore durometer silicone: The squishy-softness is more noticeable in the top of the head. It’s “padded” so it feels gentler going in, and if the tip is ramming hard.

Versus a dual-density dildo, the Peg’Em has one more layer: the thin “skin,” a medium-soft coat that contains the squishy silicone. That makes the Peg’Em’s touch a little firmer at the ridge: The corona doesn’t compress as much as the VixSkin Mustang’s uber-squishy head.

I like that, since (for my own G-spot play), I’ve often found Mustang too squishy to be the most effective spot toy. I gotta thrust faster to get a good orgasm.

Our Experience

It’s soft, it’s flexible but not really flexible, and the balance works to give me a pure G-spot orgasm after a couple minutes of quick thrusting. I had added the Peg’Em’s “orientation tab” added based on hand-jerking, because the head would move to the side as I moved faster, and the lil nub will help you get it right back on track quicker.

It’s slightly thinner than my preferred dildo size, and less realistically shaped: that’s why Peg’Em is not my own perfect toy.

Peg’Em Finish Options

It comes by default in a matte – mild drag finish, which is what Travis and I are using. I was thinking maybe the “candy coated gloss” option would be better, smoother; but he’d felt the Easy A in super-smooth and selected this finish instead. We don’t think it’s draggy at all, though there are slight texture lines. However, if you’re someone who wants super-slick, you might opt for the gloss finish here.

Care and Cleaning

Platinum silicone is functionally nonporous and safe for years of use. It doesn’t leach chemicals like PVC toys, or allow germs to live longer like cheap TPE dildos do.

Soap and water are the essentials for cleaning. Just scrub the Peg’Em down for a minute after use, washing it under running water in your sink.

You can sanitize it more, if desired, by baking it at 350 degrees in the oven, either in a glass plan or a cookie sheet with parchment paper on top.
