What every bullet vibrator should dream to be. Swan Maximum Bullet is insanely good. “Squirting-level good,” as I had to wash my waterproof blanket after first use.
It’s got a silicone ring that unites it to my first 2 fingers: seriously easier grip. Plus, my favorite feature: Fully adjustable control. Because how much extra vibe-power you need between “warmup” & “finish me off” speeds is personal. So, I’m very excited how custom the Swan Max. Bullet’s vibration strength is—I adjust its rumbly vibration to my clit’s particular taste, any given time.
Let’s look at the Maximum Bullet by Swan’s pros & cons in a list (and let me say, I’m critical AF but cannot come up with real “cons” for this vibrator); then I’ll share my experience, details on the battery life, the Comfy Cuff, and more…

Vibration Functions & Intensity
Swan Maximum Bullet has 1 steady vibration function that’s 100% adjustable:
In practice, that’s about a dozen distintly discernible strength-levels within the Incremental Speed range. (See all vibrators with this adjustable control, here: It’s a feature unique to BMS Factory / Swan products.)
I rate the Swan Maximum Bullet as ranging from 5.0 to 9.33 out of 10 (low speed to high speed) on my bullet vibrator power scale.1

That’s slightly stronger than the “gold-standard” bullet vibrator, the We-Vibe Tango (X); and the Max. Bullet has a reverberating rumble, too. When using both vibrators on top power, I find I feel the Maximum Bullet a lot better through 2 layers of clothing (because, you know, sometimes you might find yourself masturbating in a hurry?!).
For me, the Swan Max. Bullet just has more *rev* vs. the Tango—and a bit better range, starting lower and ending stronger.
My Experience
I first pulled the Maximum Bullet vibe out of its box, and needed to charge it up. Then, its motor kicked to life in a way where I was immediately like, “Oooh yeah, this is a good one!!!”
I’m also swooning over sapphire: the rich blue Maximum Bullet. It’s pretty in pink too, that’s the other color option; but OMG this is soooo damn blue, I love it.

Tests ensued. Many vibrator tests with this one: a couple times a day, you know, just to be thorough. Seriously, though: I wasn’t expecting to like it this much, because I’m into wider vibrators (G-spotters, wands) clitorally. This is the best “bullet” or “lipstick” style vibrator I’ve ever owned, hands-down.
I love the “small but not too small size,” and the roundness of the Maximum Bullet. It does have a pointed tip if you like to press inward, hard against the clitoris:

But this Swan bullet’s lipstick-cutout is never jabby. It’s curved in a very ergonomic way, for rubbing around the clitoris (and the labia too, if you like that: I do!). It feels less abrasive to “rub off” on than the more-abrupt lipstick tip of Blush’s Power Vibes (formerly known as “Exposed Nocturnal Bullet“)—a vibrator motor that is barely stronger than the Swan Maximum Bullet, yet has less speed choices (it’s a lot buzzier vibration, too) and more awkward buttons (they’re hard to press inward!). The Max. Bullet feels tons more luxury-level than those Blush vibrators.
I love this feature so much: the “Comfy Cuff” is super useful. It’s a squeezable, stretchable silicone that fits great over my first and second fingers. So the Maximum Bullet is easier to rub up and down my clit and NOT lose my grip. My fingertips can relax, too, versus gripping harder around other bullet vibrators to guide them.

Incremental Speed Control is the BEST vibration system. I love it. BMS pioneered this “press & hold” (then release when you’re at a good intensity for you) system, and no other vibrator brands use it currently.
It fixes my biggest problem with normal vibrators: I’m enjoying function #1 (the lowest steady speed), but then I want more. But, when I press the button to reach vibration function #2, it gets too damn strong. I have to wait a minute, while being overstimulated, till I can really enjoy it (if ever; sometimes the jumps-up are just so much, they put me off entirely).
Maximum Bullet is permanently installed as part of my shower-time now, the past weeks; also ever-present by my bed. Going forward, this lil vibrator will remain in my favorites basket, right next to my bed.
So yeah, I think it’s the best mini-vibe ever. But: Is is going to surpass the Pillow Talk Sassy as *my* all-time favorite vibrator? Unlikely. Because it’s not both a G-spotter and a clitoral sex toy, and I do need my G-spot stimulation for peak masturbation. But hey, not everyone does—some people really only need clitoral stimulation—and the Swan Maximum Bullet is clitorally awesome. Better yet: pair the two. 🥳 Holy moly, the Max. Bullet is so easy to turn sideways against my clit (with the silicone grip!) while I’m jerking…in with the P.T. Sassy. Fantastic.

Other Features
Travel Lock & Storage Pouch
The travel lock makes the Maximum Bullet a more discreet vibrator while traveling. To either lock or unlock, press down both arrow buttons at the same time, for 3 seconds. The vibrator will buzz twice to indicate the travel-lock changeover has occurred.
Charging & Battery Life
Charge your Maximum Bullet first: Mine arrived with no factory charge. 2 hours of charging is fine. It has a good battery life: 3 hours 49 minutes on the low end of the speed range, or 1 hour 57 minutes on full power all the way. (As with all rechargeable vibrators, running the higher vibration levels drains the battery faster.)
It’s a magnetic charger, so the Maximum Bullet will remain waterproof submersible over time. The magnetic prongs clip right onto the end of the vibrator.
Cleaning & Care
Wash it in soap and water. Normal hand soap, for maybe 30 seconds in the sink after use.
If you’ve gotten luuuube [I suggest Sliquid H2O] on the metallic matte finish, you may need to rub those specific areas a little harder. The matte finish is functionally nonporous just like the silicone cuff is.
“Comfy Cuff” Size & Silicone
The silicone sleeve, a.k.a. Comfy Cuff, provided with the Maximum Bullet is stretchy. That’s awesome because it snugs the bullet vibe up over my first and second fingers, and feels really comfortable.

It’s almost as soft as a super-soft silicone cock ring, check this out! ⬆️ The Maximum Bullet’s silicone cuff measures in the 1 to 2A Shore range—quite soft. That’s close to the super-soft Oxballs Grunt cock&balls ring around my wrist (0.5A / 00-50).
Volume
It’s discreet enough in terms of volume, but not *the quietest* because strong vibrators are never, ever the quietest ones. Measured from a foot away, this Swan vibrator is 40 to 48 decibels (low to high speed); and measures up to 55 decibels (called “quiet home” by my decibel meter) when the vibrator is right next to my microphone.
Compare that to me: I apparently create bursts of up to 72 decibels volume when orgasming on the Swan Maximum Bullet.
How to Operate – Buttons
The Maximum Bullet has two control buttons, a departure from other BMS Factory vibes with Incremental Speed Control:2
- Press either arrow button to power on.
- Press and hold down the bigger arrow to increase power.
- Remove your finger from the button when you like the vibration intensity.
- Press & hold again if you’re only partway through the speed range, and want more power as you get warmed up & going strong.
- Press the smaller arrow button to power off.
The adjustable press-&-hold control functions like the scroll-wheel that some people add to their Magic Wand, so their options are not limited. Except this is a button built into the Swan Maximum Bullet, you don’t have to buy extra stuff.

The only way you might mess up with the Maximum Bullet is by hitting the small arrow button and turning it off accidentally. I’m sure the size difference between the two buttons was carefully engineered (the big arrow sticks out more, too), and I have not had an issue telling the difference.
Recap & Ranking
Swan’s Maximum Bullet is so well-made, I struggled to find negatives. It will be orgasmic clitorally for anyone who doesn’t need an extreme: Because the Max. Bullet’s vibration is rumbly & strong, but neither super-gentle nor crazy-overpowering. It’s compact, neither very-focused nor very-girthy.
For me, it surpasses the renowned We-Vibe Tango because of the Maximum Bullet’s (1) adjustable intensity control, and (2) Comfy Cuff sleeve. The stretchy-soft silicone loop wraps around my fingers, lets me rub the Max. Bullet around my clit / up & down my vulva without needing to hold on tight. It makes the Max. Bullet more accessible; and easier if I’m holding this rumbly vibe clitorally while I thrust a dildo or a Pillow Talk Sassy, for dual stimulation.
It’s close to perfect. I don’t say that about vibrators often—indeed, almost never.3 If you like easy clitoral stimulation, or if you have a partner you want to stimulate during sex, the Max. Bullet is worth it.

NOTE
- Since bullet vibes are smaller, they can’t pack the power of a big-motored Magic Wand, etc., so point values measure 25% stronger vs. my other [larger] vibrator scales: where I’d put the Swan Max. Bullet as from 3.75 to 7.0 / 10 power, low to high speeds.
- I assume this new system was designed so that new users don’t accidentally power off the vibrator when trying to power up. It takes about 3 sessions to get adjusted to the Pillow Talk Sassy’s single Incremental Control button, in my experience.
- We-Vibe Nova 2 is as close to perfect as I think is possible in a rabbit vibrator. And while the Pillow Sassy is next-to-perfect for me, I get that some people don’t love G-spot vibration in general, or need a lot of G-spot pressure (whereas Sassy is slightly flexible, not rock-hard like the Pure Wand).
