Motorbunny Buck Review: Thrusting Sex Machine & SUPER-Vibrator

Extreme. The Motorbunny Buck is a SUPER-CHARGED saddle vibrator (like Sybian) that milk-thrusts too. My legs are quivering by the end, every time, after riding on the high speeds & thrust levels. To start, no other vibrator I own has this much power. Everything shakes.

And then, the thrusting. The wiggling of the Motorbunny silicone attachments, massaging in and out. It’s a new level of edging, for me, as I make the strokes quicker and quicker and see I can force the machine to make me come. Or let someone else edge me, and order me—since Motorbunny is both remote controlled and long-distance controllable too. Orgasms delivered from a thousand miles away plus are more than possible.

Motorbunny Buck vs. Sybian strongest vibrator full package (2)

If you’re considering a Motorbunny, you’re serious about orgasms. You have to want true motor power, the biggest and baddest vibrator (plus thruster!), to drop $1,600 USD on a sex toy. My Motorbunny Buck review will go into intimate detail about the fire-power, thrust functions, attachments, ease of control, app control, and of course my personal experience. (Or jump to end for a recap & discount code.) Let’s dig in!

What Motorbunny Buck Does

⚡ Vibration ⚡

When I wrote my guide to wand vibrators, I noted that they were the most powerful sex toys out there—besides ridable vibrators. These are mounds of motor, with room for real vroom inside. Motorbunny here is at the top of its game, vs. the original Sybian (the difference explained soon).

Any Motorbunny is designed for the person who likes two things ✌️:

  1. Large power vibrators
  2. Riding on top

For vibe power, it’s like a Doxy Die Cast wand that you can sit on and that makes you quake even more. “Up to 11” is a phrase Motorbunny uses because vibration level 11 has OOMPH. It’s floor-shaking, loud, aggressive. Sitting on it on a chair, “Lady Godiva style,” I can feel the Motorbunny’s vibration running from my face down into my calves.

The original Motorbunny has (1) turbo-power vibes plus (2) a twirling rotation function. But I was drawn in by the Motorbunny Buck here, given my love for thrusting things. It moves differently…

The Thrusting, YO

Buck has independently-adjustable vibration and self-propelled motion. Both functions operate via twist-dial control, so you can choose precisely what intensity you want for each.

This is unique: The Buck’s thrusting can move two different directions. You see, there are little plastic inserts — 2 of them — you choose between, before putting your attachment saddle on. These “motion toggles,” explained:

  1. “Thrust” moves the attachment’s shaft up and down about 3/4 an inch. It’s a more natural in-and-out thrusting, with short strokes that can get speedy.
  2. “G-Thrust” pushes the shaft forward, so it moves left to right.

Motorbunny WARRANTY & Satisfaction Guarantee

Important: Motorbunny is expensive, yes?

BUT. They offer a 45-day satisfaction guarantee, so you can return the thing if it doesn’t suit you. You get a cost refund minus $199 because they won’t take your attachments back. That’s quite a long time to use the Motorbunny and decide if you like it.

There’s also a full 5-year warranty for normal use. That means, you speak with Motorbunny’s product specialists if something breaks, and — if indeed the motor is kaput — they’ll have you send back the defective product, and then replace it for free.

Last, the 10-year “quality guarantee” means Motorbunny will advise if you have a technical issue between 5 and 10 years post-purchase. They’ll fix your machine for free if it can be repaired, or give you half off if you need to make a new purchase.

Motorbunny vs. Sybian

Sybian was the original ridable vibrator, developed in the mid-1980s with the thought that women come most easily from on-top, cowgirl-style sex. (I would agree: Cowgirl and then missionary are the best positions for me by far—the G-spot stim is the best when I’m facing my partner.)

Motorbunny took this concept and made it a little better in its original model: slightly more horsepower & RPM for both functions, plus lower cost vs. the Sybian.

This comparison chart here applies to the Motorbunny original vibe, with (1) vibration and (2) twirling for attachments with an insertable shaft.

Remember the Buck model has the same vibration strength but has milking rather than twirling for the shaft. Buck also by default includes the Link controller for app-controlled / long-distance play.

And Buck’s attachment materials are body-safe / nonporous, too…

Motorbunny Buck Attachments

The attachments make the biggest impact on the Motorbunny experience (besides how high you have the vibration level turned up!!!). So let me tell you how each one feels. I also show the toggles and attachments in motion — plus Buck’s thrust and noise! — in this YouTube demo.

First, Buck’s included attachments are all silicone, vs. the Motorbunny original startup kit including 4 TPE attachments. (You have to purchase the safer silicone covers for Motorbunny original separately. 1

All this is included with a Motorbunny Buck: see attachments (#s 1–3) and motion toggles (#s 4–5):

Motorbunny Buck attachments list - what's included ds

All three attachments have a series of little bumps in front, for clit stimulation. They’re firm, pointy pressure that you can choose to grind on, or just feel the vibration passing through.

“Thumper” got some serious grooves. It’s long, too! About 6 inches insertable length. The ribs remind me of an abstracted fantasy dildo. I would recommend this one more with the Thrust toggle, since you get more feeling from the 3 ridges when they’re moving up and down.

Thumper’s head is subtle. I’d have made a more pronounced coronal ridge / more bulbous head shape if I’d designed it, personally. It’s also 0.75 inches longer than the Sweet Spot attachment, next. So Thumper goes deeeeep. It’s…a lot.

Motorbunny Buck silicone attachments Sweet Spot in motion (2)
Thumper held next to Sweet Spot, in motion.

“Sweet Spot” is the G-spot-oriented one, of course. It’s slender, with a curved hook that either (1) pulls down on G-spot, with the Thrust toggle; or (2) pushes hard into it, with the G-Thrust toggle. At 4 inches length when seated on the machine, it’s more manageable if you don’t have a long vagina.

And the Flat attachment is, more accurately, the bump attachment. It’s got a small hump that sits right at your vaginal opening. And, like the other 2 attachments, it features all the little clit bumps.

NOT INCLUDED with your Motorbunny Buck, but available for separate purchase, is: the Vac-U-Lock attachment. That particular attachment didn’t quite work for me as expected… but I found an adjustment that made my Motorbunny rides more thrilling.

My Motorbunny Rides: How’s It Perform?

First, the Motorbunny Buck is SO MUCH that I don’t want to use it two days in a row. It takes me a day to recover!!! (And I speak as someone who masturbates 27 out of 28 days!)

Especially true of the milking part: the “G-Thrust” toggle, with the Sweet Spot attachment. Hot damn, the firm silicone attachments pressing inward are a force. Every time I get on top of Buck, even with the BUCK function tuned to level 2 out of 11, I immediately feel like I’m going to lose it.

You know it’s serious G-spot stimulation if you get a “need to pee” / “have to let go” feeling right away.

But I let the orgasm build, clench around it and ease in. Lean forward, so I take some pressure off my knees after 5 minutes.

I could come right away; have it forced out of me. Instead, I linger on the bottom half of Motorbunny Buck’s BUZZ vibration range.

Yes, it’s loud (on vibration speeds 6 to 11). Interestingly, the thrusting doesn’t add much noise, not like the creaking of most handheld thrusting dildos. It’s the Buck’s vibrations that can roar.

I like the Sweet Spot attachment with the Thrust toggle most. The thrusting is a little short, very jiggly. It pairs well with the vibrations being steadily increased … or shot up to level 7 or 8 for a second, a tease so I can feel the machine’s full power. Before I crank it up high to finish.

Vibe speed #7 is my personal favorite. It’s still pretty rumbly — “11” is strong but higher-pitched — and not 100% overwhelming. Best orgasms for me are 7 Buzz + 3 to 4 on Buck (the thrusting function).

My G-spot is a sensitive panda, so I’m not a big fan of the silicone density for the Motorbunny silicone attachments. They hard. And I get why: Softer silicone is hard to injection-mold, like these attachments need to be created. (Please don’t be that person complaining to your sex toy shop that you got a Nova 2 or a Neo Elite with little tiny indents in the silicone surface. That’s the nature of soft silicone: imperfections happen.)

So I solve my sensitivity issue by sticking a softer penis extender over the Sweet Spot attachment. It’ll also fit on the Vac plug attachment too. Either way, you get an extra bulge, a fleshier feel, and a lifelike ridge.

One disappointment with a not-included attachment: I was expecting to like the Vac-U-Lock attachment most, so I could stick my favorite Vac-holed dildos on Motorbunny Buck for a super-powered realistic dick experience. BUT. The Vac plug sticks an extra inch above the saddle, and my vagina is not extra-long. To fit an average Vac dildo and get simultaneous clit stimulation, you’d need to be able to take almost 7 inches vaginally — quite long. My first impression was that the Vac attachment was designed by a dude who didn’t understand average vag size all too well.2 For size reference:

Motorbunny Buck Vac-U-Lock attachment fit
My shortest Vac dildo & how high it sticks up; vs. a length (shown with the Meaty cock extender) I can take while still letting my clit feel the vibration.

So again, I’m sticking to my soft-silicone extender, which is a normal 5.5 inches length when fitted over the Vac plug when it thrusts upward. That Meaty sheath a great buffer, and lets me enjoy the Motorbunny Buck to the full extent of its thrusting and vibrating powers.

Sitting on top of the Motorbunny Buck is the most natural position. Only downside: my knees start to get a little tired after maybe half an hour. How long do you want to ride? Kneepads may be in order: anything cushy or foam — or Motorbunny sells kneepads as well.

If you want to go all out and ride and ride and ride, check out the Easy Rider sling. That has elasticky, but strong, bands that support lots of weight (tested up to 330 lbs.). So you sit on top, maybe hold the handle attachment, and there’s so much less pressure on your knees while you’re getting bucked. Bouncy!

Second position: The Right Angle Wedge, included with Motorbunny Buck, lets you stand it on one end — without damaging the cord. You angle the cord to the side, then lie back and receive the Buck’s attachment missionary style. I had to put a pillow under my butt to get the right height, and a few more pillows behind my back for support.

After that, the Right Angle Wedge lets me have my most comfortable, lazy Motorbunny Buck sessions. Because I’m not having to support my body weight, it’s easier to let go and play and feel all these feelings.

Lying back, I’m most aware that the Motorbunny Buck’s thrusting is gentler, not super-long strokes. It’s not as hardcore as, for example, a Hismith Premium sex machine ($400) in terms of the thrusting. But a traditional sex machine doesn’t have vibration, much less really strong vibration. I can come from thrusting alone, but many clits will want that turbo-vibration.

And finally, I like the “Lady Godiva” position for a change. It gives a bit more control than kneeling. You want to make sure you have a stable chair for this, and that you can support your weight even if you want to go a little crazy. My office desk chair, covered with a towel, has worked for me.

It’s wild sitting on a vibe like this, knowing how strong it can get for you, at your will.

Motorbunnys are really excellent for display too — for having a partner control them.

The Motorbunny Buck comes with this twist-dial controller that’s also Bluetooth compatible. You can either:

  1. Turn the dials precisely by hand, to find your preferred vibe & milking speeds
  2. Have it connected to the Motorbunny body, but use the Motorbunny app to move intensity level up and down

This is a long-distance controllable app, too. You can invite anyone with a normal (= Bluetooth enabled) cell phone to take charge of the Buzz and Buck functions, once you’ve linked the Motorbunny to the Motorbunny app on your phone. They can be 10 feet away or 5,000 miles away.

The app is simple enough to connect with. I had to create an account, like every vibe app asks you to do. Then it linked immediately to the machine, whose controller I did have turned on.

The main control screen (center, below), is a piece of cake. You simply drag a slider for either function up and down.

Motorbunny link app 1

When I’m using the machine solo, I like the handheld, tactile quality of the physical controller. I like turning the knobs with my fingers — it’s more satisfying than the slider on my phone screen. So the app is more important for (1) the ability to play with patterns, and (2) the long-distance control.

I enjoy the gentle pulsing of the wave (~) function most for Buzz, and the circular representations for Buck (the thrusting) are all over the place. Sometimes wild!

Then there’s “Draw”: you make your own wave-forms, or whatever else. Of course I had to draw an actual drawing (of an eggplant, why not) — and I was suprised that it converted into actual vibrations. Wildly swinging ones, up and down intensity.

Note that you can set a maximum power level for the app, through the Settings icon (gear symbol, upper lefthand corner of screen). So that the pre-set patterns or your partner won’t turn the vibration above any level you select: I chose level #8, which is plenty strong.

That’s helpful, since it’s easy to get overwhelmed by the very strong vibes. I took the Motorbunny app on a spin once with a new long-distance play partner, before I’d figured out that I could limit the high vibration level. And that was a truly power-packed half hour. I buzzed afterward. He asked if I wanted to play again the next day, and I was like, “Noooo, I’m going to need a day off!” So limit your vibe level if you’re like me.

I’ve had stable connectivity using the Motorbunny app after I first got hooked up to my long-distance partner. It wouldn’t connect for a second, so we both entered and exited the app again, and then it was good. Since the Bluetooth antenna is located inside the control box, and not covered up by anyone’s flesh, you’re so much less likely to experience loss of connection — a problem some people have with wearables like OhMiBod Esca.

The only real issue with the Motorbunny app is that there’s no way to communicate with a long-distance control partner. No text, video, or audio within the Motorbunny app. I was doing a Skype call with the first man I had controlling this for me, and I felt I almost had to yell to say that the vibrations were intense enough already. Buck is a power tool, and you’ll need to raise your volume to be heard over its noise on the strong vibe speeds.

My takeaways are to: (1) set an upper limit on the vibration intensity and (2) text, don’t talk or video if you want to give specific directions / feedback during long-distance control. Happily, you can have the Motorbunny app running in the background while you do other things on your phone.

Motorbunny Buck Recap & Ranking

Furiously powerful, the Motorbunny Buck stands apart. Slightly stronger than a Sybian, plus two thrusting styles, this rideable vibe is actually unique among my large sex toy collection (over 450 toys, & retail value now over $40,000).

Extreme in certain ways, the Motorbunny Buck is NOT for anyone who (1) is extra-sensitive to overstimulation, or (2) has knee or hip issues. It’s also not a discreet product, when you turn up the vibration power.

Because this is a sex toy meant for display. Like its competitor the Sybian, Motorbunny’s Buck is amazing for putting on a show.

The attachments are as firm as Motorbunny vibrations are strong. Be ready for lots of stimulation. If you’re more on the sensitive side, consider getting a soft sheath to cushion your thrusting — and be sure to set a max. power level if you’re playing long-distance through the app!

Testing this mound of motor is nothing short of a dramatic event. It can be very all cylinders. And if you’re not totally sure you want this much, it’s excellent that Motorbunny has a 45-day satisfaction guarantee.

NOTES

  1. Although I’d like to see the attachments be all silicone for both machines, I appreciate Motorbunny’s transparency. Their FAQ states the TPE attachments are more porous and are not designed to last forever. TPE is softer than the injection-molded silicone in the Buck attachments, so I can understand why even a knowledgeable buyer might use them for a time (maybe a few months). TPE is not toxic in the way that PVC sex toys can be, it’s simply not sanitizable.
  2. So how long *is* the average vagina? I’ve wondered while considering the longness of Motorbunny attachments. Honestly, research about median vagina size is in the Dark Ages compared to penis size statistics, but the best we’ve got is that median vag length, fully aroused, is up to 4.7 inches. I can take 5.5 inches comfortably, and my shorest Vac-holed dildo would need to be actually in my uterus if I wanted to get the good vibes emanating from the clitoral bump.

  1. Kind of a weird question but I tried the Velvet Thruster Prime and it didn’t work out. It was kind of painful and if I clenched at all, it didn’t work. Do you think someone with similar problems would have issues with the Buck too? I’m trying to decide if I should go with just the Buck or try the standard Motorbunny and a Hismith. Thanks!

    • Hi, sorry for missing your comment earlier!

The firmness of the Velvet Thruster was probably bothering you, yeah? And then you can stall it out by clenching too hard (vaginally)? If it stalls super-easily, you might put in a warranty claim with Velvet Thruster just to see if you got a defective one. (They send a replacement in case of motor issues.) With my Thrusters, I can definitely clench some, but I tend to stall them if I clench very HARD like I only can do right before orgasm.

The Motorbunny Buck attachments are so firm that I fear you might have similar comfort issues with that machine. The Hismith machine and suction cup attachment with a softer-silicone suction cup dildo would be my top recommendation.
