How to Use Leo Harness
Anally or vaginally. Yes, the Leo dildo absolutely works for both.
100% SuperSoft silicone was first used in anal sex toys (by SquarePegToys, in 2006; followed by Bad Dragon and then others in the “fantasy toy” realm). If you’ve ever wondered, “Is really soft silicone too soft for anal?” then the answer is “No, it was actually chosen specifically for anal play.”1 If you buy a SuperSoft toy that you’ve stretched for, in a size that’s not too large for your current progress level, it’s not difficult to insert. But measure carefully: know how large you can take & look at the product dimensions!2
I’ve reliably heard you can use Leo for depth play, rounding the bend into the colon, if you’re so inclined.3 Or, you can just feel Leo’s soft & curvy head ramming into the “wall” of the inner sphincter.
It’s not going to hurt your insides if you are using Leo SuperSoft in a harness, like for pegging play, and the dildo-wearer is thrusting hard. You’ve got more room, as I’d find out, for positions like anal-missionary.
The Actual size Leo’s extra-length is really handy, too, for using SquarePeg’s Leo suction-cupped to a wall or floor. Which Size??? + Colors
SquarePegToys’ Leo is available in 9 sizes and can get BIG, if you want it to. The Actual Size is already way above median penis size. If you type its shaft length (just over 8 inches) into the Penis Size Percentile Calculator, it’ll say: “In a room of 1000 guys, 0 would be bigger than you.” As a result, there’s an XS size and a Small size version of Leo’s dick—or, if you’re experienced, you can select upsized Leos. “King” is 10 inches around by 12 inches height standing up.
In SuperSoft silicone, Leo’s 9 sizes come in 3 colors: Bronze (coppery), Chestnut (white-kinda tan), Graphite (silvery-gray). And in Firmer silicone, it’s in 2 sizes x 2 colors: Pink Sugar or Ultraviolet.
This life-cast toy is not SquarePegToys’ most “spot focused” (prostate / G-spot-seeking) realistic, nor is it the most tapered. But Leo’s extensive length lets it snake deeper & still tugs delightfully: I’ll tell you about what I feel, next.
My Leo Dildo Experience
Super-Soft silicone is absolutely the way if you’re seeking flesh-like squeezability in your sex toy—for most Leo sizes. I’ll cover Leo in 100% SuperSoft (mainly my favorite size, Actual!); and then move onto Firmer silicone versions: better for XS size for sure, and maybe for small—depending on your preferences.
Actual Size, SuperSoft Bronze
When I first tried Leo version 2, SuperSoft, I felt like sticking Leo in was hitting a homerun. I was coming out of bad times: relationship stress & illness too. Leo was the first big dildo I’d used in weeks. But at that moment…
The slickness, sliding in. It’s magical if you go slow. Then all the Leo dildo’s skin lines run, one after another after another, down its long shaft. Almost indistinguishable from a real penis when I suction-cup it to my bathroom door, and back my ass up against it. Squishy & squeezable, the super-soft material creates the illusion of skin.
These skin lines on the Leo dildo now — they pull just enough. Leo feels more realistic. And the ridge. The ridge, with its bunched up lines, rubbing perfectly. Subtle, not draggy, pulling lightly.
Leo’s wavy head is so good for “deep spot” bumping (the posterior fornix). Even better, Actual Size Leo sticks out so far, that I’ve got plenty of room to fit in my favorite vibe for clit power while dildo-ing: see below. That first time I tried and understood Leo… awesome. This real-life-cast dildo was going deep as possible right away, toward my posterior fornix: the “deep spot” of the vagina. But it pulled it down two inches… then it rubs right above my pelvic bone too. That’s G-spot territory.
So the SquarePegToys Leo Dildo’s head is not a wham-bam G-spot stimulator. I wouldn’t class it as a “G-spot dildo.” But Leo’s ridge and shaft absolutely feel amazing in combo with the rest of the thick shaft. It’s like a Goldilocks level of texture for me, not too slick and not draggy either. (Do use lubricant with any soft silicone sex toy.) I insta-came when I first used Leo, which is great because I don’t have a refractory period vaginally, I can just keep orgasming. It’s an amazing toy.
Vaginally, the Leo Actual Size is the kind of dick where if I encountered it in person, I’d tell the owner, “Oooh, please be gentle, my cervix is sensitive.” (DON’T GO BALLS-DEEP, LEO! You’re too long!!!) But this baby is in super-soft silicone. There’s no hardness within, so it’s not causing any irritation or pain even if I’m backing my butt up onto Leo Actual’s full length.
Two to three inches of Leo Actual sticks out of my vagina at all time, since it’s over 8 inches from tip to the base in Actual Size! I have a habit of preferring pretty-wide but shorter things vaginally (like 2 inches diameter by 5 to 5.5 inches length), so Leo’s stature confused me until I started experimenting more and found its benefits! Like:
- Sticks out enough to leave room for clitoral rubbing: massaging with a smaller vibrator, no conflict with Leo’s base.
- Makes me think about balls: Leo Harness’s base is SuperSoft silicone too, so it bends easily in a U-shape that’s so squeezable too. (But if you want balls-balls, Leo has a testicular version as well.) Unlike a dual-density silicone dildo, the Leo will conform more to the vaginal or anal canal receiving it; and it’ll fold over enough so I can get clit-rubbing texture from the Leo’s lower shaft when I desire.
- Suction cupped: Leo’s lower shaft is hella flexible, so it really will bend with you — and the extra inches help when I’m (1) taking the toy from behind or (2) sticking it to the floor and leaning back on my elbows. Remember the suction base only comes on the middle Leo sizes: Small to 1X.
FlushCup Suction Cup Base
Leo dildos here in small thru 1X do include the FlushCup suction base. (There’s also a SquarePegHole version; read about its use on a fucking machine here.) All Firmer silicone Leos have the suction cup too.
Again, the extra-long length is helpful for suction-cupping—and so is Leo’s flexibility, in SuperSoft. It’s tough to get good positioning with a suction cup dildo, if you want realistic thrusting movement, not just sitting flat on it. My way with Leo is backing up onto it while it’s stuck to my bathroom door. I’ve also heard of people sticking suction cup dildos to metal trash bins and backing their butt up onto them, wanting to imitate anal in a doggy-style position. That’s why Leo is really an anal dildo for those who wanna try it deeper.
Leo Small & XS, Firmer
This is an abbreviated section because I’m really sold on the SuperSoft, Actual size personally—as someone who prefers dildos about 2 inches diameter across the front. I tend to like my toys large-ish but not massive; if that’s not you, you may have more affinity for the Leo Small or Extra Small.
I absolutely recommend Firmer silicone for the Extra Small size, because it’ll be very yielding in SuperSoft. Leo XS looks cute in Pink Sugar (also available in the metallic Ultraviolet color), and I would recommend it to folks who enjoy slimmer toys vaginally. It’s a period dildo for me; a size to use 1 or 2 days out of the month when I’m extra-sensitive.
The Leo dildo Small size is 6.5 inches insertable, so it is not a teeny toy! In Firmer silicone, Leo small’s textures—so many skin lines, line after line after line down the shaft—are more pronounced! I like the rippling waves here occasionally, during other spells when I need more stimulation to orgasm and I want to feel the tugging and the bumps and the waves. Vs. in SuperSoft silicone: where the skin lines aren’t as dramatic during thrusting.
Leo in a Harness & Anal Use
SquarePegToys Leo is beautiful as an anal dildo. And it feels right in a harness: the longer length, so that they’re still enough Leo sticking out past the O-ring to dive deeper.
In all but size Extra-Small: which is a beginner size Leo! Strapped on, Leo XS is inches insertable length by 1.3 inches max. diameter. This is absolutely the one I want only in SquarePegToys’ Firmer silicone, so its thinner girth isn’t too flexible.
Firmer Leo XS is a more lifelike stability, I discovered when I wore it. It was small enough so that my “early intermediate” experience-level pegging partner could ease it in right away; with Leo XS not folding over too much. And the thrusting proceeded smoothly! I liked how it held steady and I had decent control over the angle. Leo XS is a nice little probe. But…
Leo small is where the real fun begins. For this “just above average” size toy, we found pros & cons for both the SuperSoft and the Firmer Leo.
- A lil less wiggly upon entry: doesn’t require my hand getting up his to his anus as much, it’s not bending.
- More of straight-line penetration, stable.
- The skin lines create more texture during thrusting. (Could be a pro or a con: Depends on your sensitivity level. If you’re ultra-sensitive to textures, you might opt for the smoother Mel.)
- I just like seeing the Ultraviolet color.
- Curves more naturally with the hole it’s penetrating, so good for comfort during fast strokes.
- I can see it being squeezed by his asshole with each “out stroke,” which looks super-hot.
- The soft base is more comfy against my mons (pubic mound).
So maybe 20 minutes after we were both spent, and had cleaned up, I asked his thoughts. I paraphrase: “I agree with the smaller pink [Firmer XS Leo] being not so soft. I could feel its tip better. The Firmer purple one… the skin rubbed my hole more, and you know I liked that. I liked it that you had control over it. I got so turned on when you were moving it. Was getting very sensitive. You said it was time for the soft one, and … wowza. That is a dildo. That was insane! I wanted to stay there and just keep taking it…. When we switched positions [and I was stroking myself], I’m sure that was the hardest orgasm I’ve had in a year or more.” And, I liked seeing the super-soft skin sliding more in and out; and I liked how it bent more when we switched to an anal missionary style.
So in short, the XS size is great in Firmer silicone, easier, feels less floppy. The small size is slightly more texture-full in Firmer, which some users may have a taste for, if they do like harder pressure. In the bigger sizes, Leo is only in SuperSoft silicone because it is a force of a dildo, even when squishy-squeezable.
SuperSoft Silicone Care & Packaging
Leo comes in a bag. This is an eco-friendly choice by SquarePegToys: It’s convenient and easy to ship. It’s not a box to likely be discarded in the trash; not a thick plastic clamshell to be scrapped. The plastic bag is less wasteful. It comes printed with instructions on how to care for the product. The line about upright storage is really an extra-safety, designed for Slinks in particular; these dildos won’t be harmed by sideways storage. SuperSoft silicone is more prone to marks from fingernails, but overall is quite resilient. The Firmer silicone is less prone to small indents.
Overall, they’re both safe for long-term use and can be sanitized to kill 99.9% of microorganisms.
SquarePegToys Leo Recap & Ranking
SquarePegToys’ Leo is absolutely an anal favorite for people who want safe silicone products. It’s become a favorite vaginal dildo for me as well. The SuperSoft silicone and impressive sizing speak for themselves, once you feel a Leo.
