Lovense Long Distance Vibrator App – How To

How to Connect with your partner Long-Distance on the Lovense app: a short guide! Lovense’s app is known as the most popular vibrator app for both (1) public play and (2) long-distance vibe control. I’ve played on the Lovense app since 2019, and have tested it against: We-Connect (by We-Vibe), the Satisfyer app, the Svakom app, the Motorbunny app, the Hismith app, the Zalo app, the OhMiBod app, FeelConnect by Kiiroo, and more. Phew, that’s a lotta vibrator apps!!! And I still think the Lovense app is most functional, and best-designed. Updated for Lovense app 2024:

To start:

How to Sync Your Lovense Vibrator

First, only one of you needs a Lovense vibrator. You do not need to be near your partner’s vibrator to link up with them. (You can even be controlled by someone a thousand miles away who you’ve never met, if that’s your jam.)

Both of you will download the free Lovense app on your phones. Search “Lovense” in the App Store or Google Play. (Or, there is a desktop Lovense app now, just google that!)

The person-to-be-controlled will first sync the vibrator to the Lovense app. On the main screen, tap the “Your toy is not currently connected” bar or the link icon right above. Then, follow the instructions and tap the vibrator name: You’re connected:

In the Lovense app, you can create your own patterns, explore a huge library of patterns other users have made up, just dial intensity up and down, or make your vibrator get stronger in sync with noise around you (like music at a club) via “Sound.” Really a lot of options! But the coolest one still is… Partner control, next!

How to Long-Distance Control

Then, both of you will need to:

  • Tap the two hearts “Long Distance” icon at the bottom of the Lovense app.
  • A “Log In” link will appear.
  • Create a profile. You give an email address (which is not disclosed to anyone you play with; but of course you can create a throwaway email, if desired).
  • You’ll choose a username and password.
  • Verify the account by clicking the link sent to whatever email address you entered.
  • You’ve now got an account running and are ready for long-distance vibe control.

Then, one partner needs to send a connection request, to find the other partner.

There are now two methods to do this.

  1. “Create Control Link” is better for public sharing and limiting how long the other person will have control of any toy you choose.
  2. “Long Distance,” found on the bottom bar, is the old-fashioned way: you need to know a specific partner’s Lovense username, then start chatting with them and initiate control via the chat.

Long Distance – Chat Option

  • Find the “Add Friends” block.
  • Type your desired partner’s username. Hit Done.
  • They’ll need to accept your request.
  • After, you two will find yourselves in the chat function.

The Long Distance function has options for Video calls, Voice calls, sending vibe patterns, sending photographs, waking up via alarm, and (it seems) sending music that our Lovense vibrator will sync with. To start long-distance vibrator control:

  • Find the + button (after the smiley face) in chat.
  • Either partner can hit the “Live” option to start long-distance control.
  • The other partner must consent to the control! Click the Accept button.
  • Then, the controller will move the pink bubble and down, to increase and decrease vibration intensity / make waves, etc.
  • I recommend the “Float” option (icon on the right side of the screen) to avoid dropping vibration, so they don’t need to be constantly holding their finger to the screen.
  • You can X out the vibration control, if your partner wants to see the pics & text on screen better.
  • Lovense now automatically blurs images out, but you can see the image unblurred just by tapping on it in chat.
  • You can video or voice call in the Lovense app while they’re controlling the vibrator, too. That’s the better way for (1) clear communication & (2) sexiness factor, vs. texting + still-photo exchange, IMO.
  • Enjoy!!!

For long-distance play where you wait to be controlled:

  • You can set it so your partner will always be able to take over your Lovense toy’s vibration when you’re both logged in. Hit the three-dots in the chat with them, inside “Long Distance.”
  • Then find the “Allow control without requests” option and tap it so the slider is not grayed-out! See below:

Lovense is the only brand besides Kiiroo/OhMiBod1 that allows for two long-distance partners to sync two toys’ vibrations together—but only with specific Lovense vibrators. The Nora rabbit will respond to thrusts inside either the Max penis toy (made of TPE) or the Calor penis toy (silicone sleeve).

Lovense App Connectivity

How stable is the Lush 3’s connection? (And other Lovense vibrators’???) Historically, the Lovense app has majorly outperformed We-Vibe’s We-Connect app. That was true for me in a long-distance relationship 2018–2020, where We-Vibe toy linkups were a nightmare.

Lovense was always stable, in contrast.

More recently, my new bf and I have found the Lovense desktop app (that he was using) glitchier in terms of initiating a connection, but the phone app has been consistently good. I own 8 Lovense vibes now, and none of them have ever cut out once the app connection was established (unless I’d used a toy for so long its battery ran out!).

If you have an older (1) cell phone or (2) Lovense vibe (like pre-2019), you’ll be more likely to hit snags.

Also, people with thicker thighs & fuller figures have the most issues keeping a stable connection when wearing app-controlled vibrators. It’s because the Bluetooth connection these vibes rely on wasn’t designed to travel through flesh! (That’s why Lovense Lush 3’s tail remains outside the vagina; the antenna is in the tail.)

I’ve heard from a BBW cammer who did prefer the Lush because it maintained a connection better than other remote products, and she thought her colleagues felt similarly.

However, connection isn’t always perfect for everyone, so if you find your Lovense toy not connecting right, do reach out to Lovense’s support: You can get a replacement if there’s a nonfixable issue.

Have fun!!!

  1. I haven’t tried this, but the Kiiroo penis strokers will apparently sync with OhMiBod Pearl (G-spot or clit toy), Esca (vag. wearable), Cliona (clit toy), and Lumen (butt plug) via the FeelConnect 3 app.

  1. I just want to know if the person controlling it can see your location through the app? I hope not. That woud be a huge privacy problem
