Fight me: The Fun Factory Big Boss is the best vibrating dildo on the market. This thick vibe is one of those classic toys that, it’s assumed, no longer requires reviewing; doesn’t need extra promotion. It exists, it’s big and bold, it’s found its niche. With its luxe pricing, the Fun Factory Big Boss vibrator doesn’t go out to reviewers often these days.
I enjoyed the Satisfyer Vibes Master—suspiciously close to Big Boss—earlier this year. Master is powerful and affordable. I argued for that Satisfyer vibe as a good option mainly because it’s so much cheaper (and I understand having serious life expenses). But afterward, I wanted to write the real deal about the Fun Factory Big Boss’ goodness in its own review.
And the fact is: Big Boss is roughly five times more pleasurable for me than Satisfyer Vibes Master. Sometimes, you do get what you pay for.
So I’ll move away from that Satisfyer toy and give Fun Factory Big Boss vibrator all the attention it deserves…
The *BIG BOSS* Experience
Fun Factory Big Boss is for anyone who gravitates toward thickness. (That’s me!) At 1.8″ across,1 it’s the best-quality girthy vibrating dildo available. (It may not be Hankey’s Toys size 😉, but compared to other strong-vibe options.) Of course it’s waterproof, body-safe, and rechargeable; and available in 4 color options. Fun Factory’s materials are top quality, and big Boss’ vibes are primo too.
Big Boss isn’t quite as rumbly as my favorite Pillow Talk Sassy on the latter’s lower intensities: that’s why Sassy is awesome. Big Boss is close, though: its vibes have a respectable depth. Big Boss reaches a power level I’d rank as 7 out of 10, still very worthwhile2 given that 10 equals Hitachi Magic Wand.
Big Boss has 6 steady speeds, and I usually end up on the fourth, sometimes the fifth, as I’m getting ready to come. (When you turn on the vibe, it starts on steady speed #3, so hit the minus button to go less intense.) There are also 6 patterns, but I’ve become too enamored of the mid-range steady speeds to bother with those!
And I mentioned the GIRTH, right? Big Boss’ biggest draw is its phallic shape. In combo with the thick shaft, Big Boss’ ridge is gentle. It becomes a serious player as the vibes travel through it. Especially when I’m thrusting this vibrating dildo—which I definitely am, right from the beginning.
The Silicone
That brings me to the part of Big Boss that absolutely seals the deal for me—the reason why I need to redo my favorite vibes listing to include it soon. Big Boss is more comfortable with thrusting than your standard vibrating dildo. The toy’s hard motor casing ends two inches below the coronal ridge, so the shaft is semi-flexible. Plus the silicone coating is thicker, not the measly tenth of an inch you get with so many vibrators. I dig that forgiving feel.3 I keep coming back for it, again and again.
Do be sure to lube up as you’re taking Big Boss’ girth: the silicone is a tad draggy, but far from the worst offender I’ve found. It’s very usable with a good water-based.
The model I’ve reviewed is the Big Boss Black Line. The Big Boss G5 is the exact same toy, but in 3 other colors. Both are Fun Factory’s latest version of this popular vibe, upgraded from the Big Boss G4.
Overall Thoughts
The Fun Factory Big Boss came to me in a shipment along with 8 other vibrators, and it says something about Big Boss (and maybe my tastes) that it’s the one that I keep returning to first. For FUN.4
I love the width, paired with the robust vibrations. Big Boss begs to be thrust, so its ridge will pull down on my G-spot and get me off, hard and multiple times.
If you crave above-average size, realistic shapes, and quality vibes, Fun Factory Big Boss is the one.
I know mine will see a lot of use… My level of enthusiasm about Big Boss is so high that this review practically flowed out of me. Big Boss jumped from fifteenth priority level in my to-review list, right to #1. Clearly, Big Boss’ big-vibe energy has a strong influence over me!

Notes
- 1.75″ at the ridge, and 1.8″ at the widest point down the shaft where it bulges outward.
- Big Boss’ intensity is somewhat dampened by the thick silicone coating the vibes have to travel through. If you want a large insertable vibe that’s even stronger, consider the Swan Wand, which is a 9/10 for power, with lots of G-spot pressure; or the Impressions N5 by Blush, just barely less strong and with a head that’s the size of Big Boss’—but harder and more bulbous.
- In case you’re curious about silicone density like I am, Big Boss’ coat tests about 18A Shore and reminds me of the Avant D5 (review here), one of my top toys last year. This firmness is a little flexible—not soft, but not so hard either.
- The FUN button that turns this toy on/off lives up to its name here, no joke.
Hi! Great review!
Why do you say is 5 more times more pleasurable the satisfyer máster?
I have the satysifer and i am planning to buy big boss G5.
Is the motor stronger?
Is it squishy? (The staysfier i fell a little bit firm)
Thanks!
Big Boss’ motor is rumblier, which means that it doesn’t have that *bzzz*-y quality that made me end up not using Satisfyer Master as much. And no, it’s not squishy: it’s a similar concept to Master, where the end of the shaft is flexible because the motor core stops mid-shaft.
