Addiction Rave Dildo Review – Glowing Silicone

Got a new favorite glow dildo!💡 Addiction Rave’s silicone is soft, it’s bendable, and it comes in 2 colors: blue-purple and blue-neon green. The blue-purple is surprisingly the brightest in the dark: And even more important, the silicone is smooth and slightly squishy. The feel is superior to any of the other GITD (glow-in-the-dark) dildos I’ve played with.

I’ll compare-contrast the Addiction Rave with the Neo Elite Glow toys in particular; show how the “posable” bendable core operates; and describe what kind of stimulation the Addiction Rave by BMS Factory does best.

Addiction Rave Silicone Feel

The Addiction Rave’s silicone is my favorite of any silicone posable dildo I’ve felt. It is smooth, but not super-slick; its surface is a great balance for my vagina. And it’s soft, but not super-soft—which helps the core maintain its position better. It’s a 10A Shore durometer: In the tapered head, it feels “forgiving,” and in the thicker shaft, “soft but not floppy.”

Best of all, the Rave dildo’s smooth matte finish. That means it glides well with lube; a hint of texture, but not draggy texture.

If you are going for a squishier silicone outside, though, then the Addiction Andrew and David are that: they’re gentle. And more flexible in use.

Addiction Rave’s silicone has 2 color schemes: stripes with silicone marbling. Each one will be slightly different as the silicone swirls differently when poured into different Rave molds, before it sets (“cures”) into its final form. Both colorations glow: Let’s see how well…

Rave Dildo Vs. Neo Elite Dildos

So, to get a glow-in-the-dark (GITD) dildo to glow well, you need to “charge” up its pigment. This is accomplished by sitting the toy under a light source: Either in a window to receive sunlight (I’ve even cracked my blinds open, and it works), or nearby an LED light. A couple hours’ exposure will be most effective. Then you’re ready to glow.

The Addiction Rave dildos are visible in the dark: Just don’t expect them to emit light outward like a bright glowstick. I perceive the purple-blue Rave as slightly brighter than the green-blue one.

IMO, the neon green in the Neo Elite Glow dildos (N.E. Omnia) has the most glow. Addiction Rave in purple-blue is close.

Addiction Rave dildo - green, not charged
This is what the green looks like when not charged well, and with a not-dark background.

Yet, I’m drawn to the Rave’s marbled green-blue, as it gives me an Earth globe 🌎 impression. I’ve wanted a dildo in these colors for a long time: I like to stick the Rave on my shower wall even just to look at it, and it will stay put till I want to use it again. (Strong suction cup, more on that next!)

Stimulation: My Experience

I do have a strong bias toward realistic dildos / G-spot dildos, and the Addiction Rave is neither of those.

So, the fact that I can orgasm easily on it was a surprise.

It has to be: how the Rave expands in the lower shaft, how the head is flat and just wide enough, and the soft-silicone feel. Rave’s tip snakes in and finds its place deep, as its shaft pushes my vaginal opening & lips apart more. For me, Rave becomes a “deep spot” toy, not a G-spot one.

It’s good for posterior fornix stimulation, at the deepest penetrable area of the vagina. (On the butt side, vs. the A-spot being deep on the “belly button” side.)

I can come on just the dildo (no clit stimulation; this is standard for me & dildos I like, but isn’t most people’s experience). See the Addiction Rave dildo’s width here:

Addiction Rave dildo - width tape measure

It’s 1.4 inches diameter, but feels slightly wider because it’s barrel-like (≈4.65 inches circumference at widest), more circular vs. the typical penis being a bit ovoid.

Best, is pairing the Addiction Rave with a clit toy: A rumbly Pillow Talk Racy, a thumping Je Joue bullet, or a mini-Rose vibe I’ve been testing.

Being filled up with the Rave dildo + clit pulsed is awesome.

Suction Cup

The suction cup is so strong!

Addiction Rave dildo - suction cupped to door

And Rave’s so usable as a shower-wall dildo, because it’s long enough: 8 inches total length, 7 of those easy to take inside your body. I like to face my dildos when I’m shower-walling them, so I do need ’em to be longer! When I face the wall, I’m also rubbing my clit against the dildo shaft as it penetrates from the front.

Of course, if you’re using the toy for anal, it’ll be easier to have your butt to the wall. Either way, it’s very helpful you can angle the Rave either up or down, to curve with your canal. See how they bend in this IG clip.

The silicone is just squishy enough, and then the firmer core: This makes a nice balance. It’s more stable than many posable dildos, it doesn’t yield too much when I’m moving my body forward and backward, taking the Addiction Rave. More on that in the next section

Addiction Rave dildo - strong suction cup

Final positive note: The Addiction Rave’s suction cup base doesn’t have sharp edges, either, so when I wore it in a harness, it wasn’t pushing into my mons like a normal suction cup dildo, with a fine circular edge (image in harness here). The Rave’s edge is flattened comfortably.

What is this “Bendable” Thing?

Bendable dildos (also called “posable dildos”) are a new trend where a silicone toy has a metal core that you can move up or down, and it’ll stay put—to different degrees, depending on the specific bendable dildo & the amount of force you’re exerting on its shaft. If you’re riding on it hard, putting a lot of weight against its shaft—of course it’s gonna bend, flow with your body; just like how it’s meant to be bent by your hand.

Super-soft silicone also bends (even more, if it’s SuperSoft!), but doesn’t have the metal core: so posable toys like the Rave feel denser.

With the Addiction Rave’s 10A silicone outside and the firm core: I think it has a more erect feel than other bendable dildos. Like, the Real Supple line are so squishy outside and the core of my 8″ model is thin: so it’s flexing quickly when I use it suction cupped. The Rave, in contrast, has more stability. Addiction Rave Recap & Rating

Silky silicone that spreads, suction-cups, and slides in deep (over 7″).

The Addiction Rave is the best of the Addiction silicone dildo lineup for me; a non-phallic toy that performs well.

Not to mention, it looks cool & sticks so well. The suction cup stays for days. It stays in place awesomely on my textured bathroom door, so I can bend the tip up just right & bang away.

The Rave works best for me along with a good clit toy, or suction-cupped to a door! My only woe when using Addiction Rave, is that often I crave more G-spot stimulation, personally. Its flowing shape is good for deep vaginal stimulation or anal entry. The Rave’s average width (1.4″ diameter; 4.65″ circumference) and slimmer tip are for probing, rather than spot-focused pressure.

  1. Hi, since the rave is firmer than the Addiction Andrew, does it have any issues with bumping into the cervix in use?

Also, could you clarify the difference between probing vs spot focused pressure for me? Like not enough intensity at the tapered top to have the spot pressure?

    • I haven’t found the Rave to be at all painful to my cervix. I am directing all my dildos, I’m not letting partners thrust them into me, so ymmv.

G-spot and prostate stimulation both require a curve and/or a strong bulbous head that curves into the spot. Here’s a diagram in re G-spot stimulation; it requires the forward, pushing thrust to angle into the erectile tissue of the urethra, in front.

If a dildo doesn’t have a ridge that sticks out sufficiently to push inward on the downstroke, I won’t consider it a good G-spot dildo. The Rave is an overall thruster with weak G-spot stim for me because it lacks the prominent ridge.

      • Thanks for expanding on this. Yes, I’m only looking at the rave as a solo toy. If I understand correctly, the apex of the tapered tip itself isn’t enough to act as a ridge to push inward into the erectile tissue for G-spot stimulation. It looks very pin point in the pictures that I couldn’t tell.

If you were to approximate a shore feeling for this in dual density (difficult question), where in the range would you put it? If it has a 10A outer, and a metal inner that I’m guessing is harder, is it more in the 20A single density range in terms of firmness in-use?

        • Hi! If “by apex of the tapered tip,” you mean the very end or tip of the dildo, then the top of dildos never makes contact with the front vaginal wall during normal thrusting. You’d have to angle it forward in an unusual way. The tip would make contact with the back points of the hole, whether the cervix itself or the grooves (anterior or posterior fornix).

It’s the smoothed area where a coronal ridge would naturally be found that is smoothed, and thus makes it not a prime G-spotter for me.

The toy as a whole feels like 10A stability overall to me.

  2. On shevibe the rave comes with a powerbullet vibrator, did you get one? I’d like to know if it’s rumbly, I could use a bullet to stick in other dildos, but if it’s not I’ll go with the lovehoney posable dildo that looks like an exact copy of this one but is a little cheaper.

    • All Addiction Raves include that vibrator. It’s the shittiest little 1-speed vibrator you can think of. “Rumbly” should not be used within a 10,000-word radius of that vibrator. Peepshow Toys doesn’t list it as a selling point because its inclusion is not a positive feature.

The Lovehoney toy may not be the same quality. Its shape is similar looking, but it’s two inches shorter (5″, rather than 7″), and the silicone may be firmer.
