The Ovation Acclaim is made of nonporous silicone. Its magnetic cover is metallic-coated plastic that anchors over the Acclaim vibrator, forming a circle. It’s 2.75 inches diameter, waterproof, and USB magnetic rechargeable.

My Experience

OMG. Rubbing-pulsing, sit-it under-your-clit, then squirting. I’m still reeling from the Ovation Acclaim’s motion. (In the past, I’ve been largely disappointed by clit-tapping: e.g., the Lora DiCarlo Carezza was like…”Yeah, that does nothing for me” while the Zalo Queen was: “Well, that seems overpriced.”)

Acclaim’s rumbly, but the vibration isn’t mega-strong. I’d rate it as a 5.75 out of 10 on top power. (Versus plug-in wand massagers like the Doxy being a 10/10 for strength.) Intense vibrators tend to be a lot longer (than Acclaim’s 2.75-inches).¹ For me, Acclaim’s pulsing motion makes up for the medium-strong vibration because I love rubbing massage.

Vs. Unihorn Massaging Vibrator

Another new clit massager, the purple Unihorn vibrator, pulses like Acclaim. Advantages compared:

Overall, the two toys’ thumping feels so alike. But, deciding factors: The Unihorn toy’s 2nd vibrating motor is stronger and it’s OMG adorable, while Acclaim has 7 more steady pulsing speeds, and I can sit on it. The last feature ➡ easier orgasms for me—so the Ovation Acclaim is my personal pick, though the Unihorn’s still awesome.

To turn on Ovation Acclaim, hold down on its button for 5 full seconds. That long press deactivates the travel lock.

Ovation Acclaim begins vibrating on its highest thumping function, the strongest one. To go down to the lowest speed, press the power button again. Continue pressing to increase through the 9 other steady-thumping functions.

How to Position

You can either position the Ovation Acclaim’s “swell”:

1. In front of the clitoris, so you can hump forward / rub off against the wider surface;
2. Behind the clitoris, so it rests close to the vaginal opening.

Option #1 feels more natural for me, but YMMV.

You can hold the Acclaim against your vulva. If you don’t know: Explore exactly where your clit likes to be stimulated. Mine has a strong preference for underneath. Once I position Acclaim at that right spot, I’m having a blast; I’ve even come on it while standing in the shower.

Or, sitting in a chair over Acclaim is the best positioning for me. I stick it inside my underwear, to keep it pressed tighter against my pelvic floor. (Buy a waterproof pet blanket if you’re worried about chair cushions!!!)

If I lean all the way forward instead of reclining slightly, the Acclaim’s pulsing does slow down. I had to figure out how to leave a lil space—reclining my back slightly—so it keeps thumping back-and-forth, back-and-forth, at high speed for maximum effect. But Acclaim never stalls completely, in sharp contrast with the Thrust&Grind grinding vibrator’s shaft.

Care & Cleaning

IPX7 Waterproof: Ovation Acclaim is safe in the shower, or in the bath if you wanna sit on it there. (I just sit on mine in an empty bathtub to feel the pulses easier, no water pressure distracting from the tapping clit stimulation!)

To clean, use any handsoap. Rub your finger around the Acclaim’s clit-pulsing ball, under running water in your sink.
