The Nu Sensuelle Geminii XLR8’s two ass-kicking motors feel like the buzz of a hundred bees in my hand. I turned it on and almost had the urge to revert back to my religious days by crying out, “Holy mother of God!” Geminii XLR8 is so damn strong, even on the first speed. I’ve only found two G-spot vibes that share this power, (1) the (now sadly defunct, but resurrecting soon!) Sola Cue and (2) the massive-headed Swan Wand.

Geminii XLR8’s Power & Functions

Geminii XLR8’s 9000 RPM claim is pretty serious. That’s Doxy-level ooomph. RPM doesn’t tell the whole story when it comes to vibrator strength, but it’s a definite indicator of raw power. Geminii is hardcore because of how intense even that first speed is, while the Turbo Boost—the function that’s apparently 9000 RPM—button accesses Nu Sensuelle’s Geminii XLR8’s full potential.

Simply, it’s a lot. If you’re aren’t looking to be (metaphorically) slapped in the face by power, then you might consider a toy with a wider intensity range. (I recommend BMS Pillow Talk Sassy, a great rumbly vibe, which starts out less smack-you-in-the-face). Indeed, Geminii XLR8 is tied for second among the most powerful body-safe G-spot toys around. 

And beyond the power, I’m drawn in by the Nu Sensuelle Geminii XLR8’s series of rippling ridges. They’re even better clitorally than vaginally for me. I think Geminii is the vibe equivalent of a large dildo: I need to ease into it. I’ll use Geminii XLR8 through underwear and thin shorts first, then move on to its strong speeds and pulsing patterns directly touching my skin!

I mean it when I say “pulsing,” because Geminii XLR8 doesn’t technically have steady speeds.¹ It’s so strong that the vibration inside comes across as a spinning, a twirling.² I almost wanted to insert Geminii into my rotating dildos guide, because it’s like some sort of vibrator tornado.

This was an adjustment for me: I assumed I’d like the “steady speeds” more than the patterns, like is normally the case with my clit and vibrators. Then, while I was pressing Geminii’s lovely ridgy texture on my clit, I discovered the swirling magic of function #4.

Yeah, so it’s a lot like the Zalo Queen—the Zalo Queen on speed, that is.

Compared to the Zalo Queen, Geminii XLR8:

• Is a helluva lot stronger. (I was disappointed by Queen’s vibration.)
• Has a firm center circle; it can’t be pressed inward.
• Has bigger ridges on the bottom of the head. (👍 for more pressure there)
• Has silicone that feels silker and appears less “spotty” after cleaning.
• Is $69.01 cheaper than the Queen Set with attachment.³

Geminii XLR8 does not have app control or Swarovski crystal, and the metallic band—though body-safe—isn’t gold. It also doesn’t have the option of a clitoral attachment. (Which maybe I wasn’t the right person to test: but that I know doesn’t allow Queen to pulse in the same way a Womanizer-style pressure wave toy does.)

Overall Thoughts

The Nu Sensuelle Geminii XLR8 is something like a cross between a powerful mid-sized wand and a gyrating rabbit—but in G-spot form. It’s got super-powerful vibes and a fun spinning motion both in the head and the shaft.

The series of “crown” ridges gives me more when I’m using Geminii XLR8 as a clit toy: I feel their texture, plus that wild swirling around my clit.
