Fun Factory ShareVibe Pro Review – BIG Strapless Dildo

Stronger rocking vibration + thickest G-spot stimulation: Fun Factory ShareVibe Pro feels super-sized vs. the original ShareVibe.

The Pro ShareVibe’s got one girthy pony: the G-spotting bulb that you keep inside vaginally, as you thrust the dildo-end into your partner.

This bigger Fun Factory strapless dildo turned out impressive in 1 way, yet cumbersome in multiple others. We tested ShareVibe Pro’s rumbly vibration for pegging sex:

The Run-Down:

Best vibration in a Fun Factory “strapless” dildo yet. Large pony intended to keep the dildo in, harness-free, turns out to be over-engineered and stabby. No remote.

Fun Factory ShareVibe Pro vibrating double dildo

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Stronger vibration vs. previous ShareVibes.
  • Über rumbly, deep vibration.
  • Waterproof & USB rechargeable.
  • Body-safe silicone.
  • Thick G-spot bulb (“pony”) is filling…but:

Cons

  • Thick bulb is not for tighter vaginas.
  • Aggressively arched pony can feel painful.
  • No remote control, seriously?!?
  • Silicone is kinda draggy.
  • No adjustable hinge. Not posable.
  • Requires a harness to stay in, unless you wanna keep your legs crossed.
  • Weird vibration function order: Must cycle through 4 patterns between the 3rd and 4th intensity levels.
  • Dildo tip is flexible, diminishing prostate/G-spot impact.

The Fun Factory ShareVibe Pro is made of nonporous silicone with ABS plastic around the button, is 9.8″ total length, its pony (G-spot bulb) is 1.7″ max. diameter × 3.5″ insertable length, while its dildo end is from 1.25″ to 1.6″ diameter × 5.5″ insertable length. It’s IPX7 waterproof and magnetic USB rechargeable.

My Review Criteria

All body-safe, zero BS. I only recommend body-safe toys, no bullshit and no paid promos. If I wouldn’t give a toy to a close friend, then I won’t recommend it to you, either. I’ve tested over 1,080 vibrators, 530 dildos, and 165 butt plugs (and a plethora of cock rings, kink gear, and lubes!). Everyone’s preferences vary, so I rate vibrating toys by 1. power level and 2. rumbliness; and always describe how my personal tastes color my experience.

Our Experience with ShareVibe Pro

I didn’t mean for this review of ShareVibePro to become a total bitchfest; I like this sex toy’s vibration. But. Lord, I’ve been uncomfortable using it, it’s basically unwearable:

My boyfriend and I dove into vibrating “strapless strap-on” dildo testing earlier this year, after being impressed by the Lovense Lapis.

6 months later, when I got the ShareVibe Pro, I was immediately pleased as how rrrrumbly the now built-in vibrator motors are! Real deep frequencies.

And I loved how wide this newest Fun Factory ShareVibe’s G-spot stimulator was. Check out:

vibrating strapless dildos pony size, Fun Factory ShareVibe Pro versus competitors
ShareVibe Pro’s vaginal pony size dwarfs that of similar vibrating “strapless” dildos.

But immediately after I noticed those two positives: I was like, “WTAF” irritated about this “adjustable hinge prevents slippage” claim. Fun Factory’s box is peppered with other claims about “secure fit” and “Infinite ways to play.” 😮‍💨⬇️

Adjustable Hinge, They Claim

Fun Factory’s copywriters clearly took the “adjustable hinge” claim from other manufacturers who do actually sell double-dildos with hinges — Strap-On-Me first, followed by Lovense in Lapis.

A “hinge” or posable core is metal that you can bend, so the toy keeps its bent shape after you let go — so it actually stays put, as you’re inserting it vaginally.

Fun Factory ShareVibe Pro review no adjustable hinge
You can move the pony backwards with force (see the veins popping out in my wrist), but then it snaps back to its original shape instantly.

No hinge exists inside the ShareVibe Pro, as anyone who’s ever played with an adjustable-hinged strapless or a posable silicone dildo will easily recognize.

The ShareVibe Pro’s neck is simply flexible; neither posable nor adjustable. As soon as you let go of the pony, the neck *snaps* back to its original shape. This oversight, which might easily be read as false advertising, is disappointing.

“Secure Fit”

“Curved for secure harness-free wear,” the package reads.

That’s sooooo far from the truth of the physical universe we live in. (How are these Germans unfamiliar with gravity?) This thing is huge, of course it’s going to fall out vaginally without a harness!

Fun Factory ShareVibe Pro vaginal pony size vs. hand

As soon as you move or spread your legs more than a fraction of an inch, the ShareVibe Pro will drop on the floor / bed / whatever’s under you.

With ShareVibe Pro, the only way to keep it in, is to do actions reminiscent of “I have to pee really bad”: keep your legs together, clench, keep them crossed hard. This of course severely limits your range of motion during “strapless” sex.

Testing the ShareVibe Pro

So, some real horsesh*t resides on the ShareVibe Pro’s packaging—which seems ironic given all the ethical claims Fun Factory makes about what a responsible manufacturer they are.1

But, setting that aside, I enrolled my partner on a lazy weekend night, ready for testing: The ShareVibe Pro’s girth (5.25″ circumference) was highly motivating to me. Time to strap on the ShareVibe Pro, and put it through the paces.

It goes in big… Oh my god. The ShareVibe Pro’s pony tip turn outs to be even more pokey, stabby-jabby, with its fine edge vs. Fun Factory’s Share Lite — which is more padded and rounded!

It feels like a hard line, in the firm silicone: ShareVibePro, left; vs. ShareLite’s rounded pony, right.

ShareVibe Pro Pony’s Extreme Curvature

I believe the tip’s abrupt angle is meant to help keep the ShareVibe Pro inserted, without a harness.

I have feeling in my anterior vaginal wall, however, so it feels ouchy. This thing hurts! It’s a hard line, it really digs in. That arched tip now comes to a point: bejeeezus whyyyyy.

Fun Factory ShareVibe Pro pony, bottom (burgundy-brown-purple), feels almost militaristically aggressive vs. Lovense Lapis’s rounded, gentler design, top (red).

I’ve tried wearing the ShareVibe Pro’s pony a few times at different parts of my cycle, and I have zero desire to ever use this for more than a couple minutes.

The top couple inches of the dildo are also uncored.

So our testing has been quite intermittent: the first time, I thrust for about 10 minutes with it on, he didn’t cum, then I was like, “Hang on, let me stop.” After I removed the ShareVibe pony, my upper vaginal wall truly started protesting. From the stabby-jabby.

Which stinks, because the vibration is top-tier:

Vibration Functions and Strength

The vibration does kicks some butt: IMO Fun Factory’s best vibrating motor yet (besides the Fun Factory Vim: a great motor, also with a functional downside in use).

The ShareVibe Pro has the lowest-frequency vibration of any strapless dildo I’ve ever felt. It seems carefully sourced.

It’s pretty strong (up to 7.5 out of 10 max. power), as long as you don’t purchase it expecting a Magic Wand. That said, the Lovense Lapis is slightly more powerful (but also higher-pitched vibration in 1/3 motors).

How to Use

First, Why is there no remote control?

This is a $169 luxury-level vibrator. It should not lack an obvious feature that all serious competitors share: the remote control (or app control).

You can only change the ShareVibe Pro’s vibration functions by pressing a button on the underside of the dildo shaft.

Fun Factory ShareVibe Pro how to control vibration functions

This is a problem when you’re trying to ram into your partner, and want to vary the vibration. You gotta either slow down / stop play—reaching to the bottom of the dildo shaft that’s entering them; and fumble around to find the button.

How to Control

To turn on the Fun Factory ShareVibe Pro, tap on the FUN button. It will start vibrating.

Press again, and again, and again… to cycle through the 8 vibration functions.

The ShareVibe Pro’s vibration functions run as follows:

  • Steady speed #1,
  • Steady speed #2,
  • Steady speed #3,
  • Pattern,
  • Pattern,
  • Pattern,
  • Pattern,
  • Steady speed #4.

This is incredibly frustrating, that you gotta cycle through the patterns to get to the highest steady intensity. The fact that there’s no remote control (nor app control) makes this worse.

How to Position

“Are strapless dildos really strapless?” is a good question. Some nuance exists, because some people inherently retain them better than others; and certain sex positions also aid in vaginal retention (like, strapless cowgirl / cowpoke, where the strapless-dildo-wearing person is on bottom, as their partner rides on top—so gravity isn’t pulling the strapless dil out).

But, the short answer is: NO, these toys are never strapless if you’re playing hard! If you move around much, or you thrust too hard, or you step wide or open your thighs, the double-dildo’s 9 times out of 10 gonna fall out: And that’s with a not-bulky strapless!

ShareVibe Pro is 5.68 ounces heavier vs. the Strap-on-Me Double Vibrating — but the Share Pro feels like even more than that.

Picking up a good strap-on harness (with pass-through O-ring) makes your double-dildo-ing less restricted. It’s just less hassle overall.

Care & Cleaning

IPX7 Waterproof. The ShareVibe Pro’s silicone + ABS plastic body can be submerged in the bath.

To clean, just use your normal handsoap and scrub both sides under running water from your sink.

It’s USB magnetic rechargeable. The charging nodes are next to the power button on the underside of the dildo. You must charge the ShareVibe Pro for longer than normal: 2 hours is standard for most vibrators; whereas this toy will require 4 to 6 hours per recharge. (I haven’t measured it exactly, just left it to charge overnight; versus when I charged it for 2–3 hours, I got only 35 minutes battery life from ShareVibe.) After the extended charging time, you then get a long run-time per recharge: ’bout an hour and a half on the medium speeds (functions #2 and 3).

Recap & Rating Fun Factory’s ShareVibe Pro

The Sharevibe Pro has a vibrating motor that’s stronger and fully integrated into this double silicone dildo; it trembles the ShareVibe Pro’s 10-inch length.

I personally love thicker penetration, so the bulky bulb (“pony”) was a feature I’d expected to be right up my alley. Unfortunately, its overdone tip digs in to cause me pain and discomfort (not a problem I’ve had with any other wearable double-dildo).

For $169, it’s regrettable that Fun Factory didn’t include a remote control for easier vibration changes during sex; and that they’ve chosen to overhype the “secure fit” angle and make misleading assertions about this couples sex toy having an “adjustable hinge.”

Overall: ShareVibe Pro has so many functional issues, it’s just not a fun play-time for us.

Orgasms per dollar value:
Aww, man, this thing’s hard curve stabs my vagina when I try to thrust long & hard. Vibration is most focused in the clit stimulator; dampened in the G-spot vaginal pony. Flexible dildo-end bends backward, so it lessens P-spot stimulation for him. I almost came once. Doesn’t stay in.

User experience/ Ease of use:
The rumbly vibration is really nice. That’s it. Everything else is bad. This product is a pain to use, literally. And… the strongest speed is separated from the next-strongest speed by 5 button presses: What maniac designed this motor control system?

  1. Which they may be…I mean, I love ethical manufacturers, and paying workers good wages should be essential… But… it’s harder to trust those “Tiny carbon footprint” and “Pro-employee” statements, etc., after the whole “adjustable hinge” and “secure fit” debacle.

    • Yeah! I think the density must be part of it, too, since I even tend to like wider silicone insertables than the ShareVibe Pro’s pony, but to me this feels larger than it is. I’d’ve guessed it was a solid 1.9″ diameter before I measured it.

Glad you found that line line funny!
