Bad Dragon Flint Review

Bad Dragon’s Flint the Uncut Studded Dragon is a thick, ridged dildo that’s basically everything a dragon dildo should be. Spiky back? Check. Thick girth? Check. Big balls? Check. And then there’s the cockhead just barely emerging out of the foreskin, which is sexy as hell. Bad Dragon dildos have a name, a reputation, so I knew I had to bring this dragon into my lair. What would I think of this Bad Dragon I’d set out to review?

A Zoofull of Choices

One of my site’s goals is to spread information about awesome smaller fantasy companies. But Bad Dragon is the king of the fantasy toy world, and it’s easy to see why: all the choices. Like I mentioned in my Bad Dragon Nox review, Bad Dragon offers so many toys, all customizable.¹ This means that you can get your dragon, fox, “T-Rex,” or vaguely human cock in whatever color you want and usually in four different sizes², with a cum tube and sometimes with a suction cup. Plus all Bad Dragon’s dildos are squishy—they’re more like flesh than the typical body-safe dildo has been until recently.³

This Bad Dragon review covers the small size Flint, which means “thicker than 98% of vanilla toys.” (Kudos to anyone who can fit in a large or extra-large!) Small Flint’s maximum circumference is 7″ (≈2.2″ diameter) according to Bad Dragon, though this measurement may be a little smaller than Flint really is.⁴ But Flint’s insertable length is very average: a little over 5″. This is why I put off getting a Flint for so long—I prefer for my dildos to be around 6″, for easier thrusting.⁵ [Later note: Mr. Hankey’s Toys Dragon is an awesome choice if you want a dragon-y appearance with more length.]

But with Flint’s huge balls and wide girth, I realized that I wouldn’t be doing that much thrusting anyway, so I jumped at getting a discounted Flint in Bad Dragon’s firm firmness⁶ and “Steampunk Stud” coloration.⁷

Flint Emerges

I’m always excited to open up new dildo boxes, but I was really stoked about Bad Dragon Flint because I’d been admiring this uncut dragon for months. As I took it out of the packaging, I was glad I chose this coloring: the light green looks more shiny in person, and the bronze is stunning. This post will include a lot of photos, because I love looking at Flint!But more than anything, I was excited to use Flint. The dildo’s ridges delighted me. The character is supposed to be an “Uncut Studded Dragon,” and the studs and small ridges down the front, combined with the thicker plates down the back, offer so much texture. Plus, the foreskin looks to me like it’s begging to be further exposed.

Ready to Ride the Dragon

I like bigger dildos, but I’m not quite a size queen yet—more like a size duchess. I can usually insert a 2″-max.-diameter dildo into my vag in less than a minute with no discomfort. Especially if it’s my favorite soft realistic dildo! But still, small Flint isn’t a toy that I can just leap onto without a warm-up. This dragon, I suppose, is a gentleman: it has to be coaxed in.

The first inch isn’t too hard to insert, even in Bad Dragon’s “firm” (actually quite soft) silicone. But then Flint needs to be pushed a little…and after that, whoa! When Flint is in me, it takes charge.

Usually I start with Flint facing me, so that the gentle, foreskin texture is caressing the front wall of my vag. I’m sensitive, but I can’t really feel the dragon’s head or the studs this way. I can feel all the small ridges that stick out in the middle of the shaft. I move Flint gently, up and down, and the fullness is overwhelming.

One Way or the Other, Flint Lights a Fire

I can cum pretty easily from vaginal stimulation alone, but Flint’s front side isn’t great for G-spotting. When I use a moderately powerful bullet vibe (or the We-Vibe Tango if I want to send some powerful vibrations through Flint’s thickness), though, I have instant, insanely powerful orgasms. I don’t need to move Flint around much at all, because its big shaft is packed into me.

As awesome as these vibrating orgasms are, I’m more of a G-spot-is-best kinda gal—and Flint’s plated back is always going to provide that intense stimulation that I like. That’s why, without fail, I flip Flint around 180° so that I can really ride the ridges.

I’m glad I chose firm firmness, so that I can feel the foreskin ridges on the front of Flint’s shaft. But when I turn Flint around so that the ridgy back is hitting my G-spot, I understand why Bad Dragon’s medium firmness is the most popular. This is serious texture—not for the faint of vag or rectum. By this point, though, I can’t stop myself from thrusting hard, to feel the force of this uncut dragon’s scales.

If you’re looking to gain strength in your arms, I would totally recommend thrusting Flint over doing bicep curls. I wasn’t kidding when I said this dragon dildo has big balls. I’m a bit of a handjob expert, but jerking Flint’s ridges against my G-spot seriously tests my forearm strength. Unfortunately, Flint is one of the Bad Dragon toys that can’t accommodate a suction cup, plus the shaft is a bit short for me to get the right angle when I mount Flint on a double-sided suction cup.⁸

I’ve tried strategically propping Flint on the corner of my nightstand (a.k.a. “the fuck table,” because it’s one of my two favorite places to use suction cup dildos), but I need this dragon as deep inside as it can go. So I end up frantically thrusting those plates up and down my vag’s frontal wall, while I’m stretching my hands around those gigantic, squishy balls.⁹ At the end, my arm hurts, but I don’t notice because I’m coming too hard.

Overall Thoughts

Screwing Flint is an experience. This dragon dildo can’t be taken lightly. It isn’t a toy that I personally can use every day, or when I’m tired and just looking for a quick fuck. Flint requires some warm-up, and using it is a workout for my vag—especially when I’m thrusting Flint by hand, to get the most of its plated back. But I really wouldn’t have a dragon dildo be any other way. And, I love looking at and occasionally squishing Flint; its dragony goodness is a welcome addition to my workspace.

Some people like girth, and others like length.¹⁰ That’s a fact of dildo life! I enjoy Flint’s short thickness, because that’s more my style: witness the fact that my favorite silicone dildo setup is over 2″ thick but very average-penis-length. But if you want a fantasy toy with more length (and an average girth), I recommend Uberrime Dildos’ Night King as the best! Overall I give Flint a 4/5 stars because the silicone quality is great, and the shape is highly stimulating—it’s just that the huge balls make it clunky to move.

4. I measure my small Flint’s max. at 7.25″ girth. Other user measurements say that the toy gets up to 7.5″ (≈2.4″ diameter). Bad Dragon has a tendency to not list correct maximum girths on certain toys (like the Anthro Dragon), so checking with user measurements is good if you’re on the fence about which size will work for you.
