The Steve Curve

Steve rocks out with a:

• more targeted head
• and slicker shaft (more on that later).

Basically, he’s leaning forward to please you… Steve’s curved head has a slight taper, before bulging outward into a chunky ridge (then getting even thicker). It’s a prostate-pounder for sure, a G-spot massager. Both internal hotspots respond similarly to forward-curving pressure, like fingers bending in!

My Experience w/ Steve & G-Spot Play

I want to give SquarePegToys’ Steve a personality, because he (I mean, it!) has pounded me real good.

The smallest “Actual Size,” cast right off real-life Steve, is between 1.8 and 1.9 inches diameter at the widest head point, slightly under 2 inches diameter for most of Steve Harness’ shaft, and up to 2.2 inches diameter right above Steve Harness’ base. Two inches is my favorite dildo width, it’s like the 99.9% percentile for human penis width. But if you want bigger, then SquarePegToys has sized up Steve to 1X and 2X sizes for you. (If you want smaller, I strongly suggest Nathan Actual Size.)

I feel pushed just wide open enough as Steve’s lower shaft goes in.

Thrusting the Steve dildo into myself is sweet. I can control the angle and speed exactly. Yet there’s something about Steve’s abundant ridge that beckons me to either rock on the toy, or have it thrust for me.

I write a lot of words, but I’m almost (almost, I said) at a loss for them when trying to describe how hard-core an experience Steve can be. Explosive, perhaps.

Last time I had Steve (the one with SquarePegHole) on my sex machine, I swear to you that I came somewhere between twenty and thirty times. After orgasming for over five minutes, you lose the ability to really keep track of numbers and things like that.

Steve’s FlushCup does need to pressed down firmly onto a smooth surface: you won’t get the best results if you’ve got a bumpy or painted wall or wood textures. Very polished wood, smooth tile, smooth bathtub, plastic toilet seat, etc., are more amenable.

I find horizontal surfaces easier than vertical ones with Steve and my new place. A thin bathroom drawer, that I could pull out over and over, happened to be just the right height. But I got tired of jerking it open and closed before long. My kitchen table chairs proved too contoured: not flat, so the FlushCup needed my full weight on it, and I wanted to move just a liiittle more.

The inside corner of my jacuzzi bathroom tub proved the winner: that’s the smoothest surface, supports my back well, and gives me enough room to brace my arms on opposite sides of my hips and rock up and down. Definitely a fun workout, as a quick ride.

As always, suction cup dildo-ing takes some experimentation, maybe some creativity; and depends on the surfaces you have available in your home!

Smoother Than Life: Steve’s SuperSoft Finish

Steve’s squishy, and glides better than any other SuperSoft Bronze realistic I own.³

Streamlined, I dare say. SquarePegToys clearly put some work into making Steve as smooth as possible, while still keeping skin-line textures and little veins in Steve Harness’ top 3 inches.

Besides that, Steve is as slick as the Egg Plugs that every butt-toy fan should become acquainted with. Lube up Steve’s head and body with a hybrid lube that lasts well; or use oil-based lube (it’s safe with pure silicone!) and say goodbye to drag even if you’re thrusting like no tomorrow.

I can’t get enough of comparing dildos, so I ranked the 5 SquarePegToys realistic life-casts from least to most textured. This ranking now applies to the new “version 2” models, where Leo in particular, and also Dirk and Nathan 1X, have been redone late 2021 to be much more… Steve-like. Smoother.

Leo (the tallest above) has a following because of its long length and also, I suspect, because its multitudinous skin lines really pull around your hole. New Leo version 2 is still long, and still has some skin texture, but is much less draggy going into 2022! Rejoice, I’m going to have to write a separate review for this long dong.

So it does depend on exactly what you’re looking for. Different dildos for different moods over here.

Steve comes in two versions, the Steve Harness one without balls and the “just Steve” full live model. I think the scrotum texture in the non-Harness Steve is sexy, but the Harness one is my most-used Steve. No balls = easier to hold onto the base and thrust, and Steve Harness also has an extra inch of insertable length—for more wiggle room with suction cup play, like if I am leaning forward.

Like with any SquarePeg male-named toy, it’s awesome how you can tell these are real people because they’re not exactly symmetrical. Not designed on a computer. Steve’s coronal ridge veers up more on the right side than the left, and the scrotum has a particularly groovy ridge on left (viewed from behind), angling up.

SquarePegToys SuperSoft is slightly firmer than the outside of Vixen Creations’ highly regarded VixSkin realistic dual-density dildos—but SquarePeg’s SuperSoft formula is not so sticky-tacky like VixSkin. I find Steve’s ridge more imposing than the VixSkin Mustang’s, and Steve keeps its curve about the same as Mustang despite not having a firm core—again because of Steve’s widening shaft, how it’s thick for the length.

We simply have to declare Steve the ultimate SquarePegToys realistic creation for G/P-spot. No debate. And still with the squishy SuperSoft feel, which is epicly enjoyable if you want a fleshy pounding—but don’t have a real-life dick at hand.

This thick dildo has a more prominent ridge, a stronger curve, and a smoother finish than other SquarePeg real-life dildos. So if you want your spot focused on, massaged by a soft and forgiving toy, Steve is 100% for that.

Honestly, I would choose this dildo over the immensely popular VixSkin Mustang because I do appreciate Steve’s head being above-average thickness, and I like how it pushes me open wider. Steve’s ridge feels like *more* to me, requires me to be less vigorous with the thrusting to orgasm than Mustang’s super-duper soft corona does. And hey, Actual Size Steve is also 58.8 percent of Mustang’s price (despite being wider).
