Have you ever imagined yourself walking your bedroom late at night, waving a glowing dong in the air? No? Well, I hadn’t either, but then I got this glow-in-the-dark silicone dildo, BMS Factory Brandon—part of the company’s new Addiction line of body-safe suction cup dongs. Maybe I have a cheesy sense of humor, but IMO, it’s a hell of a lot of fun to see a glowing, disembodied cock wandering around in the dark.
I do own another glow-in-the-dark silicone dildo that looks pretty similar: the NS Novelties Firefly 5″ (review here). But for me Brandon has one big advantage over the Firefly 5″: the silicone is softer. That means that not only does Brandon wiggle around more amusingly when I’m doing my best ghost-dick impression, but it feels more realistic in use.
I’m all about softer silicone dildos, so I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Brandon (and its blue twin, Luke) isn’t as solid as the typical realistic, silicone suction cup dildo. Brandon’s squishy head and flexible shaft make it more enjoyable to manipulate—and to ride—than a harder chunk of silicone.
I was also surprised to find that Brandon’s surface is slicker than the finish of most realistic silicone dildos. It definitely has less drag than similarly soft silicone dildos like the Blush Avant toys (review of my favorite one here). I personally think that a bit of drag adds more realism, but I can see Brandon and Luke’s smoother surface appealing to many people: you do need less lube with this toy.
Brandon’s head is quite tapered, so it slides in easily. In this softer silicone, the barely protruding coronal ridge makes for gentle stimulation. Most of the time, I can feel the series of small lines below the main ridge more than the ridge itself—this retracted foreskin section is the most intense part of Brandon to me. The shaft itself is so smooth that I don’t get a lot of stimulation out of it.
Brandon’s balls, in contrast, have a lot of raised surface texture, making them more fun to grind against. Brandon’s 5.5″ insertable length is just short enough that I can sit on it and make the most of the suction cup—which is quite strong. It competes with the soft-but-sturdy suction cups of my favorite squishy single-density dildos, the NS Novelties ColourSofts.
Overall Thoughts
Really, the stimulation that the BMS Addiction Brandon dildo gives is subtle. The toy’s softer silicone, slicker finish, and lack of pronounced texture mean that it’s an easy dildo to use. I find it comfortable to ride or thrust quickly. That also means that Brandon isn’t the best choice for those who want more serious G-spot or prostate stimulation.
But it’s so fun to look at…Brandon’s glowing effect is strong enough that I can see this toy moving in and out of me underneath a sheet.
Plus the pearlescent white pigment marbles adds a nice marbled effect to the glow-in-the-dark pink. Really, Brandon is a fun dildo to both look at (cotton candy, anyone???) and feel in your hands because of how flexible it is.
