Ridges and dots and plates, oh my—plus foreskin and balls. BMS Factory’s “Tom” silicone suction cup dildo is an interesting mix of the fantasy and realistic dildo worlds. (In that way, it reminds me of a couple Uberrime dildos I recently reviewed: the Night King, and one of my new faves, Helios!)

If you’re very familiar with fantasy dildos, you’ll probably recognize the BMS Addiction Tom’s shape. This toy (Tom), and its black version, Ben, are clearly adaptations of Bad Dragon’s Flint dragon dildo. This Flint-like shape has become what’s called a “white label” toy, meaning that the same mold is being used to make dildos for multiple sex toy brands.1 I’ve seen this same toy shape floating around under a few other names, and I can’t speak to the quality of those. But I am glad that I ended up with BMS Factory’s version here because reliable sources such as Emmeline Peaches report that a MEO dildo in the same shape “is firm. Very firm.”
Firm dildos irritate me (especially when they’ve got a lot of texture!), so I was glad to discover that the BMS Addiction Tom is an almost-soft silicone. It’s definitely not squishy—not even as soft as Bad Dragon firm—but it’s also far from rock solid, measuring in at under 10A shore.
So how does all the texture in this fantasy dildo feel inside me?
First, the ridges down Tom’s front aren’t too pronounced. Because they’re understated, I get most out of them when I’m moving this dildo veeeryyy slooowlyyy. Meanwhile, the little bumps on the front rub against my labia, which is a different sensation—though not really one that I get a lot out of. But the bigger textured plates down Tom’s back stick out so much more. Most of the time, they’re raised enough, and the pressure is focused enough, that I find the stimulation a bit overwhelming. Your mileage may vary, of course.
My favorite way to use Tom is to begin rubbing the flatter, front ridges and bumps against the front wall of my vag, then twist the shaft 90 degrees occasionally while I’m thrusting. That way, I get a happy medium between the smaller front-side ridges and the big plates down the dildo’s back.
I also enjoy inserting Tom up to about its widest point—1.75″ diameter, right in the middle of the shaft—and then using all the ridges for external stimulation. It doesn’t take too long before I find myself jerking this dildo quickly, gripping its strangely realistic balls while I alternate between stimulating the underside of my clit, the mouth of my vag, and my G-spot with all Tom’s lines.
Like with the BMS Addiction Brandon glow-in-the-dark dildo, Tom’s silicone has an interesting slickness that makes it feel almost plasticky. But because of all of Tom’s texture, the toy doesn’t feel as smooth as the realistically shaped Brandon.
And finally, because Tom isn’t especially long (it’s 5″ insertable length), it’s not my personal favorite as a suction cup dildo. (I definitely need more length for standing use!) But for all of you who like sitting on your suction cup dildos, I will say that Tom’s suction is strong. I did my best to intentionally pull it off my slightly textured walls, and it took some effort. I’m confident this toy will stay in place well with normal use, especially on flat surfaces.
Overall Thoughts
If you want to try out all the texture of a “fantasy” dildo for cheap (under $24), then hell yeah, BMS Addiction’s Tom and Ben are good choices. I enjoy grinding against Tom, and the strong suction cup is a nice bonus (even if I don’t use it a lot myself). I see myself using Tom a lot more than Bad Dragon’s Flint—the toy that the design was modeled after—because of the longer length (5″ insertable; small Flint is short!) in proportion to its 1.75″ max. diameter.
You can pick up this smooth, textured toy—call it a dragon, or a cyborg, or an alien, whatever you like!—in highlighter pink (called “Tom”) or in plain black (called “Ben”).

Do you know if this is platinum silicone or if it is safe with silicone lube? I’ve heard there are a few instances in which silicone toys and silicone lube are safe to mix.
It is platinum silicone (all the dildos I review are!), but as for lube…there’s really no telling how a silicone lube with react with any particular silicone dildo. Over time, softer silicones especially tend to absorb the dimethicone in silicone lube. The usual advice is that you do a patch test: dab some lube onto the base of the dildo, leave it for a while, and then wipe it off to see if the surface has changed at all. If it’s the same, the assumption is that the two are safe to mix.
If you haven’t tried this already, you might also consider using a silicone/water-based hybrid lube like Sliquid Silk. It’ll be (at least somewhat) longer-lasting than a straight water-based, and the amount of silicone lube is usually around 10%, so hybrids and silicone dildos don’t have problems together.
