Strap-On-Me Dual Density Bendable Dildo Review

This is a sweet first pegging dildo. The Strap-On-Me Bendable Dual-Density Dildo’s 3 layers add up for comfort and adjustability. It’s super-soft silicone outside, a thin dense middle layer, and then the “posable” metal core: Which lets you angle the dildo different ways.

Really, its yielding core makes the dildo contour to fit your insides. This is not a pressure-full dildo; not for firm prostate or G-spot play. Instead, you’ll feel the super-soft—but reinforced—head tugging and massaging. It’s more than enough for me to have G-spot orgasms, but orgasmic ability will definitely vary.

I think Dual-Density Bendable’s flexibility makes it awesome for beginning anal penetration: Bonus points for it being longer but thin. So I tested the Strap-On-Me Bendable Dual-Density with my pegging partner anally, after giving it a vaginal workout for a couple months (off and on!). This review will cover the Strap-On-Me Dual-Density’s firmness, its flexibility, and how it works for two different anatomies. Skip to the end for a discount code!

What’s a Bendable Dildo For?

Bendable dildos (also called “posable” dildos) have a core that flexes and then stays put (when you’re not pressing on it).1

Their point is that you have a sense of getting multiple toys in one: a straight dildo, or an upward-curving dildo, or a downward-curving dildo. Curved dildos will deliver prostate / G-spot stimulation better during normal thrusting than rigidly straight ones do.

Bendable dildos do have a limit to how much pressure they can take before they start curving on their own. So an upward curve will start to straighten itself if you’re screwing fast, or if you’re hitting a wall (anal or vaginal wall / pelvic bone) vigorously. That leads me to:

What’s It Feel Like? Firmness

The Strap-On-Me Bendable really contours in a soft way, to fit your insides when taking it. It’s not rigid; not is it as floppy-flexible as a long 100% super-soft silicone product. This Bendable Dildo seems… organic, like it moves naturally to flow with either rectum or vagina.

Remember, silicone is the only sex toy material that can be either squishy-soft or very firm; and that’s functionally nonporous and safe for long-term use. So let’s dive into the Strap-On-Me Bendable Dual-Density’s distinct durometers, and individual preferences.

Interestingly, the “Bendable Dual-Density” Dildo turns out to be three layers, rather than the two (“dual”) layers its name indicates:

Diagram by Strap-On-Me, strap-on-me.us.

  1. Super-soft outside, most noticeable at the back of the head and the ridge. Softer toys are just more comfortable for anal. It’s why SquarePeg’s SuperSoft silicone gets consistent rave reviews from real-life users; why the even-softer outside of VixSkin dual-density dildos are prized for pegging and other anal acts. With the top of the head being so soft, the Bendable Dual-Density will feel gentle even if it’s ramming into your inner spincter (more likely with the medium or large-sizes of the toy) or your cervix (possible with any size). The soft layer is very thin, bolstered by a:
  2. Firmer silicone inner layer. This one stabilizes the super-soft exterior some.
  3. Bendable core, made of metal. Silicone does not pose & stay put at all, hence the core is made of a different material. It’s blunted and will not poke through the silicone.

I really like how smooth the outside is—but it’s not tacky. It doesn’t stick to your hand when you grip it, like VixSkin does. It feels more streamlined to me that way, though you will still want to use lubricant. Read more about the deal with triple-density silicone toys here.

Experiences

Anal / Prostate / Pegging Play

“Faster… A little more,” he requested, breathing deeply.

The Strap-On-Me Dual-Density here had been properly prelubricated; then inserted slowly, thrust oh-so-lightly, and relubed again. He made a noise, like halfway between a moan and a growl, as I slid the dildo in a little deeper… Passing about three inches in, angling toward his prostate.

He’d been pegged before, with a previous partner several years ago, but had taken a break from anal—until working up again recently, via an anal trainer plug set. Its max. diameter being 1.25 inches for the large plug, the Strap-On-Me Dual’s 1.3 inches is just a slight step up.

So we were trying out the thrust, how well the Strap-On-Me Dual stayed and stimulated. It had been positioned upward so that, lying on his back with sex-blanket-covered pillows under his butt, he might get some prostate stim along with slightly deeper anal. This dildo’s much longer than I’d expect from its thinner girth!

I could sense the dildo bending downward—I’d expected that, since it curves some when I ride it too. So I reached down, angled it upward, then started with short strokes not all the way in. Trying to tease the prostate.

He was a fan. “Do you like that?” I asked, intensifying the thrusts. He didn’t even answer except to make (what sounded like) positive noises. But it was a tough speed & position to maintain, these short & fast rhythmic strokes; so I moved for going deeper too, not as fast.

Honestly, we could’ve gone for a long time at medium speed, with him just enjoying the feel. I started feeling like I needed to do more ab crunches or something, so we switched positions; and in “doggy style,” he ended up reaching forward and stroking off. I personally was a bigger fan of the view from the missionary-style positioning, and asked him to come that way the second time we used the Bendable Dildo—when I told him it was time.

Overall, I asked him to summarize what he thought of the Bendable Dual-Density dil:

“Really smooth, amazing when you went fast. I know it’s hard to reach a prostate orgasm, but this 100% made my normal orgasms harder. I’ll probably want to work up to something thicker soon! This one was good for getting back in the [anal receiving] game.”

G-Spot / Vaginal Stimulation

The smooth, thin softness; the flexibility. It’s a breath of fresh air when I’m wanting a gentle toy. That’s mostly when I’m in the thick of my period or right at the end; when I don’t want to be stretched. I just want pleasant comfort.

And I know the Strap-On-Me Bendable’s squishy tip isn’t going to hurt, and I’m getting this curve that wraps right up around my pubic bone: Since I am angling the Strap-On-Me Bendable forward for G-spot stimulation. The medium size—though slim, at 1.3 inches diameter—is even long enough for A-spot stimulation. So for anyone on the fence about whether they like G-spot or A-spot play, then this could be a discovery tool (as long as they prefer a gentle to medium amount of pressure, this is not a Pure Wand).

It’s compact and nonaggressive—so sometimes I seek the counterbalance of a strong clitoral vibrator. The Intense Travel Vibe Mini is one with a kick that’s easy to fit in. I’m also using the Powerhouse Vibe as a long clit toy these days: maybe I just like the feeling of toying with two phallic objects at once, since the Powerhouse is about 6 inches after the loop-grip base. And strong.

I can orgasm on the Bendable Dual-Density Dildo’s shaft by itself (though your mileage may vary), as someone who really, really loves vaginal stimulation. It takes some fast wiggling.

Strap-On-Me Dual Density Bendable dildo head

The coronal ridge is among my favorites for a nonphallic / abstracted dildo: beating out the Ergo Mini’s similar shape because the Bendable Dual-Density’s head feels a touch more pronounced. That firmer silicone layer underneath makes it pop a lot more than it looks like it should. I get to thrusting more speedily as I near climax, with the toy’s heart base bending under my fingers; and that’s whent the dildo does start straightening its curve out, gently. But that ridge still is quite noticeable, and the toy remains bent forward—just less than it was originally. Again, great for when I am not up for “Bam!” vaginally and do want gentleness.

Heart Suction Cup Base

But the heart base is more purposeful inside a harness: especially in one of Strap-On-Me’s sexy cutout harnesses, where the double O-rings really keep it tightly wedged in. That’s very helpful for stability, and the shape fits just fine against my pubic mound.

Strap-On-Me Dual Density Bendable suction cup base

It is a suction cup. The suction strength is pretty good, maybe a 7/10. It sticks great to a shower wall / bathtub surface / tile; but may pop off grainier textures like my door, which some suction cup toys (like Neo Elite dildos up to the 9 Inch model) will adhere better to.

Strap-On-Me Bendable Dual Recap & Rating

The Strap-On-Me Bendable Dual-Density is intriguing, as a bendable toy that does adjust itself inside your body. The head is both soft yet reinforced: a cool new feature (triple-D!), that makes it feel more substantial than its size would suggest. The medium size we tested is a pretty-thin 1.3 inches max. diameter, but 7 inches total length.

It’s not the cheapest starter option, but the super-soft outside and nontacky silicone make it stand out. At $69.99 for the medium, it’s more expensive than the Avant Ergo Mini ($34.99, a budget alternative) but cheaper than the VixSkin Spur small dildo ($82.00). I know the Strap-On-Me Dual is a smart option for getting into / getting back into pegging play; and I like it for G-spot stim on sensitive-vagina days.

NOTES

  1. History: The first bendable dildos were “pack & play” toys, like New York Toy Collective’s more premium offerings. So that it’s possible for someone to wear such a dildo inside their pants, bent downward; then pull it out and bend it upward when they’re ready to penetrate their partner. Really, pack & play toys can be tough to disguise: For example, the Strap-On-Me Bendable Dildo sticks out over 6 inches when I have it in my favorite set of comfy harness briefs, so it’d be tough to pack discreetly. So I only recommend these toys for playtime. In the past few years, more companies have released posable dildos: Like BMS’s more-affordable Addiction David / Andrew ($49.99-$54.99; same toy in different colors), Evolved’s Real Supple lineup ($32.99-$49.99 depending on size), and Blush’s “Dr. Skin Silicone,” which I don’t recommend because the silicone outside is a lot firmer and they don’t flex much, compared to all other silicone bendable options.

  1. Hi, Felicity! I’ve actually been wondering about the Strap-on-me Curious harness which you’re wearing in one of the photos. Is it any good? Would you recommend it by any chance?
