Suction cup dildos are a big market, because who doesn’t want to masturbate hands-free every now and then? Luckily, a fair share of these toys are now made of body-safe silicone. And like most inexpensive, suction-cupped options, the Cloud 9 Pro Sensual silicone dildos are highly realistic, which is great if that’s your thing.
Cheap plus phallic was exactly what I was looking for when I started buying dildos, so I understand. The Cloud 9 silicone dildos have been around for a couple years, but I’ve never gotten around to trying one before this. Finally, I decided it was time to see how these toys’ silicone stacks up against other affordable body-safe choices: mainly, against similar lines like the hugely popular NS Novelties Colours Pleasures and the satiny-smooth Blush Novelties Ruse toys.
I might be a bit of a size queen, so I chose the largest of the Cloud 9 dildos, the 9″ version: just under 7.5″ insertable length and 1.8″ max. diameter. This toy also comes in three smaller sizes, all available in three “flesh tone” or dessert-themed colors (depending on how you want to look at it). Mine’s in a nice shade of milk chocolate, which is why I decided to pair it with some Reese’s Pieces, of course.
I’ll start by saying that I wasn’t expecting to be wowed by the Cloud 9 Pro Sensual 9 Inch. Not just because this toy is so inexpensive, but because it’s pretty hard.
I generally prefer softer and dual-density silicone dildos—like my absolute favorite, the BMS Naked Addiction Dual Density—because of their gentler, more realistic feel. (Rather than just a cock-like look.) Like I say in my Suction Cup Dildo Guide, cheaper silicone toys often run on the firm side. And lots of people do like firmer stimulation, either for anal play or for more intense G-spot pressure. It’s all in your personal preferences.
Occasionally I do want a dildo to give me some serious pressure, and that’s when the Pro Sensual 9 Inch works best. The toy’s coronal ridge strikes a balance: it’s very noticeable but not too prominent. (That is, not quite as protruding and hard as I found the ridge in my Colours Pleasures Thick 5″.)
When I stick the Pro Sensual 9 Inch to a horizontal surface, its ridge pops in and out for a really nice effect. Bouncing up and down on it is fun: mainly I do just notice the coronal ridge, and none of the veiny texture. The finish is slicker than I was expecting; it creates less drag than many matte-finish silicones. With lube, the Pro Sensual 9 Inch is a pretty smooth ride. (Unlike the Colours Pleasures toys, where the veins stick out more.) As someone who likes a little friction, I have to say that I’m a bigger fan of the middle-of-the-road dragginess of the Blush Ruse dildos, which aren’t as slick as the Cloud 9 dildos.
The Pro Sensual 9 Inch’s 7.5″ insertable length means I can’t take quite the whole toy vaginally, but it does make for good deeper stimulation. I like how the back of the glans rubs against my cervix while the front of the head is working on my G-spot.
And because of the length, I can’t use the Pro Sensual 9 Inch’s large balls (which have a cratered texture, interestingly) for external stimulation. I imagine that the balls in the shorter versions of this toy are better for hitting the user’s clit, perineum, or butt cheeks. The size does make the Pro Sensual a bit difficult for me to jerk by hand—a complaint that I sometimes have with larger-based toys.
That’s why I like the Pro Sensual 9 Inch best as when it’s stuck to something—and the toy’s suction is quite good. Check this out:
LOOK, MA, NO HANDS!!!
After my accidental discovery here, I walked around with this Cloud 9 dildo attached for about 10 minutes because I’m cheesy like that… ???? pic.twitter.com/oMJSbcHbUY

It sticks great on flat surfaces, and pretty well on painted walls. The extra long length does make it fall off eventually if you just leave it hanging out on a wall, unlike the strongest suction cup dildo in my collection: the Avant D3 / D4 (review here). Really, the Pro Sensual 9 Inch’s suction strength is very comparable to that of the Blush Real Nude Sumo, a big dual-density dildo. I’d give it a 9 out of 10 for suction cup strength.
Overall Thoughts
I’d call the Pro Sensual silicone dongs by Cloud 9 a good choice for anyone who wants a medium-firmness, realistic-looking suction cup dildo. The Pro Sensual 9 Inch’s silicone gives the toy’s head a lot of pop, and I found the coronal ridge to be noticeable—but not painful—with thrusting/riding at a moderate speed. This dildo is both straight and not too flexible, though, so don’t expect it to curve with your body (like the toys I enjoy most for wall-mounted fun).
And of course the toy’s price is the biggest selling point: under $27 for a toy of this size (plus three included silicone cock rings) is pretty darn low. And the smallest Cloud 9 dong, the 6″, goes for only $21.
If you’re wanting a more realistic feel as well as a realistic look, then I recommend the following dual-layer silicone dildos, from lowest to highest price: Blush Neo Elite (review here); BMS Naked Addiction Dual Density (review here); and Vixen VixSkin Mustang (review here; awesome feel, but weakest suction cup of the bunch).
