Uberrime Supero Review: Realistic Dual-Density Dildo

In Supero, Uberrime has surpassed their previous creations for realism. With less spot impact than Splendid—but more softness—Supero reminds me much more of a real penis. Except in vibrant glitter colors.

This is exceptional because Supero is a handmade, US-produced, dual-density toy that’s under $100. You do need two layers of silicone to make a toy feel both soft like skin and hard like an erection. But these two-layer toys are difficult to pull off, so much more prone to failures and flops than a standard one-layer dildo. I’ve had a hard time finding an indie maker who wanted to pour me a *one*-layer toy in a custom firmness blend.1 So making a two-layer dildo? Hard as fuck to get right consistently. And Uberrime has done better than ever before, in their Supero dildo

Uberrime Supero Features

The newest addition to my extensive dual-density collection, Supero’s two layers of silicone are a union: soft+hard. It is hard (pun intended) finding the right thickness of inner layer vs. outer layer of silicone—the right proportions to imitate “real life” in a dual-density dildo.

Supero’s shaft is a good realistic representation. The squishy outer layer of 00-50 shore durometer platinum silicone is soft. Clench-worthy. But there’s not so much of it that I start getting a jelly-like feel. That’s unlike VixSkin dildos, where I do get a semi-flaccid vibe because the silicone outside is softer, slicker, and oilier-feeling.

The Supero dildo’s ridge is still a tad softer than an erect cockhead would be, but Supero juts out forward and to both sides to offset that—making it seem close to an average coronal ridge.

This handmade dildo is available in 42 colors—a true spectrum—and you can choose 1, 2, or 3 different colors (of the 42 options) to combine as you like! The pigments with micro-fine glitter are cosmetic grade, and fully laminated within the silicone so as to not get glitter in you. And, like all Uberrime toys, Supero is poured from platinum silicone that’s certified skin-safe. Uberrime dildos are twice the cost of Neo Elite silicone dildo, but the materials are all certified for safety and handmade at a studio in the US, rather than a factory in China.

Like most Uberrime, Supero is slightly larger vs. average penis size. (While not being Hankey’s Toys size.) This new Uberrime dildo is 1.7 inches wide at the widest part of the coronal ridge, and slims down to 1.59 inches in the shaft; with 7 inches insertable length. That’s versus 1.46″ diameter and 5.49″ length = median penis size!

Supero Sensations

Supero’s head has a gradually angled, flatter shape that deeply appeals to me. With a little dip just above the ridge, Supero has a more cock-like feel than any Uberrime Splendid (discussed in the next section). It’s less of a ball shape, and more of a glans penis. It’s the flared head that really gives Supero *character* once it’s inside me. It’s the mushroom ridge that I feel pulling down, lightly and persistently, as I thrust this toy. G-spot stimulation is all about that forward and downward touch: the pressure of a ridge tugging down, or a bulb pushing in. And Supero’s shape is spot-on for realistic pressure.

Supero has a vein-like line running down the middle of the lower shaft. I don’t feel it much in use: I’m too focused on the ridge. But what it’s good for is orienting Supero the right way. If Supero’s mushroom-y head turns while I’m thrusting fast—common if the toy is well-lubed—then all I gotta do is look down and check where the line is. With the widest part of the ridge (dead center) pulling down on my G-spot, I know I’m gonna come hard before too long.

In terms of silicone finish, Supero is slightly more draggy than Vixen Creations’ renowned VixSkin when well-lubed. (When the lube dries out, they’re not far off.) I recommend Sliquid Silk lube with Supero because it’s thicker than most water-based lubricants.

Overall, I still think that the BMS Naked Addiction Dual Density has the most skin-like surface. But the BMS Naked Addiction dil’s head is not so pronounced like Supero’s. I go for the Naked Addiction Dual when I want to feel my labia opened, but I go for Supero when I want my G-spot rubbed on, widely. (Which is often.)

Supero vs. Splendid

And of course I can’t forget Splendid, Uberrime’s most popular toy. A dildo with a classic G-/P-spot-seeking shape plus some interesting, über-veiny shaft texture.

Dual-density dildos, from left: Uberrime Splendid small, VixSkin Mustang, Uberrime Supero, Uberrime Splendid medium, Uberrime Bella.

Original-size (=Medium) Splendid by Uberrime is about the same maximum width as Supero, but Supero is a full inch longer. (As such, it’s better for deep stimulation, including A-spot and cervical play vaginally.)

Splendid is a more impactful G-spot toy than Supero. Most G-spots like pressure, crave extra bulk and weight. Some of us, however, prefer a gentler touch; a more lifelike feel. As someone who orgasms easily on dick, I will choose Supero over Splendid most days of the month. It all depends on taste: How sensitive are you?

Overall Thoughts

Uberrime’s Supero is for the lover of realism—in bright colors. (And with sparkles, why not!) It’s a handmade toy with an superbly well-crafted balance of firmnesses: just soft enough outside, with a firm core that’s thick to imitate a hard-on. I had to give it 5/5 stars, because I do adore realism in a dildo.

The first time I used this dildo, I remembered a man I had a rendez-vous with a couple summers back… Supero is lifelike enough to call to mind past sex, and that’s always a huge plus for me in a dildo. This toy’s size (the ridge most of all!) fits great with my taste for above-average—but not ginormous. It’s larger, but not huge; soft, but not too soft.

I own a literal pile of Uberrime dildos, and this is my favorite.

  1. This dildo looks amazing! I’m also a huge fan and collector of Uberrime toys. I will definitely need to add this to the wish list. I’m wondering…since it seems like you may have picked up the RealCock 2…yay Black Friday…if you have considered trying Vixen Vixskin X? It’s supposed to also be a three-layer dildo…maybe a comparison down the road? The Vixskin X goes for about $260-$275…I wonder if the RealCock 2 is superior enough to justify spending almost double on it. Anywho, love all your reviews…thanks for taking on all these dildos so we can only purchase the perfect ones.

    • I’ve looked at Bronco X a lot, but I haven’t reached out to VixSkin for a review. It seems to have the same sticky/glossy surface as normal VixSkin based on that Twitter vid that Vixen made…and I don’t think that feels especially realistic. That said, I do love the VixSkin sheaths over a hard (fast-moving) core, like a Velvet Thruster. Something about speed increases the amount of realism for me.

The amount of detail in the RealCock2 is really superior, that’s a great word. A couple days ago I referred to “Dirk” as “my new best friend,” so I’m pretty sold. I ignore dildo balls 99% of the time, but the RealCock2 balls are ah-mazing (and VixSkin X toys lack balls at this point). The one bad thing about RealCocks (besides the price tag) is how damn large the bases. I’m willing to ignore that for all the other good qualities. Would definitely pay $500 for an uncut one if RealDoll released that.

  2. Thank you for sharing a review on this dildo. I tend to think that this dildo is one of the more underrated ones from Uberrime. This one stood out to me due to the tip of the dildo itself. Never really saw this on a dildo except maybe one other time. Great review as always, Felicity!
