Polka Dot Dildo Review: Luzarte Jollet Silicone Art

Luzarte’s Polka Dot Jollet Dildo is a prime example of “orgasm art.” It’s the kind of toy where, if you tweet a pic showing a shelf full of literally a hundred dildos, someone will hone in on JOLLET ONLY and ask what it is. Together Jollet’s transparent silicone and floating “polka dot” puff balls draw the eye like few other dildos can.Luzarte Jollet polka dot dildo

For me, the Luzarte Jollet dildo’s statuesque shape has been a G-spot journey: a little different than my normal style, and the more fun for it. Is it for holding in place, with dual stimulation? Is it for thrusting? Or is it best as a vibrating dildo? I’ve tried them all!

My Luzarte Jollet Experience

My demanding G-spot cries out for big, flat ridges. No coincidence, then, that the first time I inserted Luzarte’s Jollet, I used it “backwards”: with the semi-phallic head against the front wall of my vagina. I immediately realized my mistake, because Jollet’s “back” bump—the big, protruding part—is designed to curve around the user’s pubic bone. On the front vaginal wall, not the back one! There, it can press down into the G-spot.

Facing the right direction,1 Luzarte Jollet’s curve does wrap right around for me, comfortably sitting in place. Below the large, smooth bump are two drastically smaller ones, for vaginal entrance stimulation if you are moving the toy. (Those secondary ridges are light enough that I can only sense them if Jollet is NOT vibrating and I’m tilting the shaft upward to hit my opening’s front.)Luzarte Jollet polka dot dildo

The bump is a smooth, firm surface: neither especially broad nor especially pinpoint. Thrusting with Jollet seems unnecessary—excessive, even—because of how much it projects. Instead, a light jiggling against my G-spot is what I like with Polka Dot Jollet (whereas I’ll thrust my wrist to death with broader, softer silicone dildos!).

Jiggling isn’t the whole story, though: the Luzarte Jollet includes a bullet vibe hole. I’ve found Jollet much more exciting with a strong vibe inside—this coming from someone who orgasms easily on (the right) nonvibrating vaginal toys.

With strong vibes going, Jollet’s true beauty is revealed. It reminds me of the Njoy Pure Wand, the G-spot/prostate dildo extraordinaire, in a couple ways:

  • The orgasmic buildup is lingering. I keep thinking about how hard I’m gonna come on Jollet’s big, firm, round bump.
  • Then, it’s so intense it’s a one-and-done orgasm for me! I have to switch to a softer toy if I’m going for multiples, because I get overstimulated easily. (YMMV.)

And the Polka Dot Jollet’s back ridge, the corona, which I instinctively tried to massage my G-spot with at first? I love that it’s a dick-like shape—but super hard—against my back wall. That area of my vag is much less sensitive, so it wants more force than the front wall. Jollet’s unique shape allows for posterior fornix stimulation plus G-spot pressure—not a common design in dildos.

I’ve deeply enjoyed Jollet as a pure vibrating dildo, and it’s also good for creating presence vaginally while I have a good bullet vibe going. I’ve definitely come immediately when I had Jollet in place and then added power externally! Speaking of strength…

On Vibes & Jollet

The Luzarte Polka Dot Jollet’s base is clearly imprinted with the maker’s seal, around the bullet vibrator hole. It looks polished and professional. Each Jollet includes a shiny silver bullet with a fair amount of power. It’s not buzzy, nor is it kick-ass strong.Luzarte Jollet polka dot dildo vibe

If you do want more strength trembling through Jollet’s thick body, then I suggest:

Do lube the vibe hole well first, especially with the Sensuelle bullets, to avoid a struggle when removing the vibe.

Since these bullets stick out of the hole (again, easier removal!), it’s possible to grip them and jiggly-jerk the toy like I’m prone to doing. Or just hold Jollet’s daisy-shaped flared base, of course. I like the sensation of its bumps against my fingers.

The Silicone & the Size

Jollet’s body-safe platinum silicone is reminiscent of Tantus’ original “flexible” formula,2 except without so much of a glossy sheen. Luzarte’s Jollet is shiny, though, because of the sparkly silver glitter inside.

Glitter??? you may wonder. Is that vag-friendly?

Because both the craft puffballs and the glitter are fully enclosed in this hard silicone, Jollet is 100% safe. Firmer silicone doesn’t exude polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS/dimethicone) like soft formulas. At this thickness, Jollet’s silicone will not tear. The glitter and puffballs will remain securely inside Jollet no matter how many years you use it.

I mentioned that Jollet was “thick” when discussing vibes to use in it. How large is it? Well: above-average but not huge. (Its girth feels like a walk in the park compared to the Oxballs Honcho 2 chode plug, for example!) The Luzarte Jollet has a very standard 1.5″ head, then expands to 1.7″ wide at the widest cross section.3

Like the Fun Factory Big Boss vibrating dildo, it’s one of those toys that feels larger than it actually is. With Big Boss, that’s because of the round shape and deep vibrations; with Jollet, it’s down to the protruding bump and the firmness. With those qualities in mind, Jollet is for the user who knows they can take slightly-above-average insertables comfortably.

Final Thoughts

The Luzarte Jollet might be called a “cult classic”: upon its relaunch in 2018, indie dildo fans celebrated. And you know something is popular when its concept is duplicated and mass-produced. The look is a huge part of the Polka Dot Jollet’s appeal, for sure: I feel practically compelled to turn this dildo around every time I pick it up, to see the colorful polka dots from so many angles. As a handmade, artisan piece, every Jollet will be different. No two Jollets will have their puffballs in exactly the same place!

Before I got my Jollet, I wondered: Would it be uncomfortable for me due to its harder firmness, when I’m so used to squishy silicone? Happily, the rounded bump nestles against my G-spot; it fits right in like it’s supposed to be there. When jiggled, and with strong vibes going, the buildup is prolonged and pleasurable—and then strongly orgasmic. If your preferred method of toying is firm G-spot stim in combo with a clit vibe (or without one!), then Jollet is an excellent choice.

And hey, there’s a version that fits on the Magic Wand now too!

Notes

  1. I really hate to say “right” and “wrong” in the context of how to use a sex toy, but if you’re looking for serious G-spot stim, there is one “correct” direction. If you desire pressure elsewhere, of course, then go for it!
  2. Both Luzarte and Tantus say these products of theirs test at 40A shore, while my own durometer (accurate with most other makers’ measurements) gives an average of 35A for all these dildos.
  3. It is almost 5.7″ circumference, so if it was a perfect circle (which you may have noticed it isn’t), that would be 1.81″. And there are slight variations with handpoured toys especially, so someone might own one that’s actually 1.8″ wide at the bump. That feels big to me in harder toys.

  1. I found your blog on instagram and I want to say this was very helpful! I’m sort of new to the world of sex toys but I have always been open to the idea of using them and the Jollet had caught my eye because of an interview I read with the seller that said that it was the best.
I was on the fence about buying another sex toy but I feel more confident about it with this review. Thanks a lot!

  2. When I got my Jollet, I also received a thinner version of it for free, because I had to wait for months. I’m probably one of the only people in the world with it (lucky!). If I were her, I would start selling them. With a 1cm thinner average diameter (based on circumference) it’s an ideal size to start with and for some it will be enough by itself, it hits all the right spots already. Personally I have not been able to use the Jollet (yet, never say never..) and the jump between the thinner one and the original is still quite a big difference. But absolutely a genius design and I like how it locks itself inside.

  4. Thanks for your great reviews. Has the silicone on the Lutzart dildo “Jollet” yellowed or dulled with use? I’ve heard that colorless or clear silicone tends to yellow over time, regardless of use. Thank you so much

    • No, I haven’t noticed any change, though it is true that I don’t use the Jollet often since its silicone is too hard for my taste. I wonder if the people with yellower ones were doing anything different in terms of cleansers or lubricants.

  5. Thank you for the reviews, they have helped me purchase a fair few toys. I was wondering if you have a suggestion for a dupe for this? It seems impossible to find! I’m really looking for a firm pussy plug, but often they are little short and I really want something with strong g-spot stimulation

    • Thank you!

I believe the Jollie was Lutzarte’s more wearable shape, though I’ve never owned one personally. The Jollet is just so long, it’d be difficult for the vast majority of vag-owners to wear, though I’m sure there are some exceptions to every generalization.

Looking for Lutzarte, I’m seeing that their site was apparently at lutzarte products . com, but it’s been allowed to go down – which you maybe realized already. They might’ve withdrawn from the dildo business again, hmmmmm.

How are you looking for, personally?

Like, I find the Uberrime Aliter to be a deep-spotting and A-spotting toy, but if you do deeper G-spot stim., then it might suit. I know they have up to 30A silicone in the studio (for their slim pegging dildos), so you *maybe* could convince them to craft an Aliter in firmer silicone than’s offered by default via the contact form.
