The Freddie Dildo by Fuze Silicone is part of an exciting new step for the company: making suction cup dildos! Before this, Fuze made only dildos with angled, ridged bases—a unique, innovative design for strap-on play, to be sure. But…as someone who doesn’t currently have a partner who wants to be pegged, I found myself uninterested in using the girthy Fuze Wilde, or the realistically detailed Fuze Foreman. The angled bases just didn’t fit in my hand quite right.
But now there are Freddie, and Freddie’s uncut friend Major, plus the more-streamlined Flame and the anal-beginner-friendly Navy. All these toys are made of medical-grade1 platinum cure silicone, plus their bases include a strong suction cup!
I can’t say enough good things about Freddie’s silicone finish. I think it’s great because it’s a happy medium between “slick” and “draggy.” It’s not glossy like, say, the original Tantus Vamp, but neither is it super-draggy like the Fun Factory Boss (my review here). Instead, Freddie has a matte finish that slides nicely when you use your favorite water-based lube.2
Freddie’s coronal ridge, though, and the skin texture right underneath that, provide a nice amount of resistance—a slight drag. Combine that with Freddie’s big forward curve, and this dildo definitely targets my G-spot. I appreciate that the main ridge isn’t too big, because otherwise Freddie’s firmer silicone3 and pronounced curve would overwhelm my bits. For others who are more on the sensitive side, I would recommend the Fuze Freddie over a toy like the NS Novelties Colours Pleasures 5″ or 8″, as Freddie’s gentler corona and smoother silicone finish make it more comfortable for thrusting or riding. (But, if you are looking for a genuinely soft, squishy realistic dildo, seriously consider the NS ColourSoft toys instead—I think they’re pretty damn great.)
Speaking of riding, Freddie’s suction cup is outstanding, one of the better ones I own. (It’s close to being as strong as the Blush Novelties Avant D3’s big concave suction cup!) And Freddie’s 7″ of insertable length is so helpful because it gives me more room to maneuver—to successfully pull off more suction cup dildo positions while still getting a good amount of length from the toy.
Overall Thoughts
I respect Fuze Silicone for being a maker who’s committed to using only high-quality, body-safe platinum silicone in their dildos and plugs. As a big fan of suction cup dildos, I’m always excited to have more good options to recommend to others, and the Fuze Freddie fits that bill. Check it out if you like:
- Realistic designs
- Strong suction cups
- Fairly firm silicone, for more pressure
- G-spot/prostate stim that’s intense but not super-focused
You can find Freddie here at SheVibe in vanilla or caramel (mine’s in caramel); or see Freddie plus its suction-cupped relatives Major, Flame, and Star here.
My thanks to SheVibe for sending me this dil in exchange for my honest review. I always tell my readers when something does not work for me or when I think it’s badly designed. - Class VI, to be technical, which is a high-quality silicone that’s approved for medical uses.
- Or oil-based, or hybrid; see more info about lube and silicone dildo compatibility here.
- I’d put this dildo’s firmness at 20A shore, the same as the Fuze Velvet, Harmony, Alpha, and Wilde, in contrast with the slightly-soft Fuze Ten dildos: Nova, Rebel, Ultra, Ace, and Foreman. See all Fuze dildos here.
