A prostate vibrator by a maker known for penis pumps?? I expected either “so-so” or awkwardly bad. Instead, the Bathmate Prostate Pro turns out surprisingly good: this prostate vibrator rocks!
He got so wrapped up in the Prostate Pro’s 3 thrumming motors this week, that we took a break from pegging, lmao. Let’s see what the deal is:
The Run-Down:

My Review Criteria
All body-safe, zero BS. I only recommend body-safe toys, no bullshit and no paid promos. If I wouldn’t give a toy to a close friend, then I won’t recommend it to you, either. I’ve tested over 1,065 vibrators, 520 dildos, and 153 butt plugs (and a plethora of cock rings, kink gear, and lubes!). Everyone’s preferences vary, so I rate vibrating toys by 1. power level and 2. rumbliness; and always describe how my personal tastes color my experience.
His Experience with Bathmate Prostate Pro
Bathmate’s Prostate Pro is the strongest prostate vibe yet. We were not thinking this would be the case, as Bathmate is known for making penis pumps.
The Prostate Pro has been effective in getting me to HFWO (wet full orgasms) when my stimulation from other prostate play has waned. I’ve begun to pick it up after a session wearing the large Egg Plug for a few hours, when my ass has gotten accustomed to that plugging:
Then this is an instant jolt – like a shot of espresso for my prostate gland, after getting the Prostate Pro in place.
Versus We-Vibe Vector, this one has a deeper, bigger body. It’s not huge but it possesses more length – the prostate probe here has an initial bead nearly at Vector’s head’s depth, then Prostate Pro has the deeper bulb too. [He was surprised that Prostate Pro is only 1/8″ wider at maximum: it feels like more difference vs. Vector’s small size.]
The curvature is increased, which in retrospect I like more because maybe the Vector should go deeper. Vector is more “prostate lite,” like a 101 intro plug. The Prostate Pro by Bathmate also is stronger IMO.
The vibrating motors are felt in the tip, in the mid-body bulb, and in the perineum point (vibrator base). They are less “rumbly” (as she would say). We have measured the Bathmate Prostate Pro vibe at 50 Hertz higher-frequency. It is not “mega buzz” but the higher frequency is “it rocks, not rumbles.”
It’s interesting how you change functions and can use only the perineum motor, in 1 function. It is the “zippy” one. Usually I begin with function #5, an “escalating” rhythm with little dead-air – and then finish with the 3 motors running steady, function #1.
I know some guys are exclusively into manual stimulators for P-spot orgasms, and think vibration is overstimulating. The Prostate Pro’s strong vibration does hold the attention. It could distract from the ebb-and-flow of prostate stimulation, which is more likely to get you to achieving successive orgasms, as one gets from Aneros over time. I get that, but my angle is using the Prostate Pro vibrator for 30 minutes max., since it is so strong. If I haven’t had an orgasm in that time (I have 4 times of 6), I’ll move back to non-vibrating play if I have time:
But really, jerking off after my prostate has been pressed on and vibrated like this, is much better than a normal JO session, so I don’t think that you have to have Super Orgasms for this to be a good time.
The storage case is well-made, for once. It’s not a flimsy bag. It’s a hard shell with an enclosure for both vibrator and remote, then the pouch on the side for the charging cable.
Vibration Functions and Strength
Prostate Pro has 3 speeds/intensities × 7 functions (1 steady for this motor triad + [1 individual speed × 3 motors] + 3 rhythms for all triple-motors).
So, three steady speeds, and then individual steady control per each motor, then 3 patterns running between the 3 motors where you can increase or decrease between 3 intensity levels. Lots goin’ on here.
How to Use Prostate Pro Vibrator
How to Control
To turn on the Bathmate Prostate Pro, find the power button under the base, side with upward slant. Hold it down for 3 seconds. It will buzz twice, and a green indicator light will turn on.
Keep pressing the power button to start up the vibration, and then to cycle through the different functions, at the pre-set intensity level for all 7 functions.
If you want to change up the power (stronger vs. weaker) for any function, you need the remote control.
Use a quarter or any flat edge that fits into its groove to unscrew the battery cover, and remove the cover between the battery and its contact. Reassemble.
On the remote, the + and – buttons of course increase /decrease vibration strength. The power button both turns the remote on, and changes between the 7 vibration functions.
How to Position & Use Bathmate Prostate Vibrator
To use the Prostate Pro:
- Lubricate the Prostate Pro vibrator’s tip with your favorite anal lubricant. Coconut oil is fine on the silicone, you just wash it longer afterward (than if you employ water-based or hybrid lubricants).
- Holding, the base, insert the tip slowly — as slowly as you need. If you’re more experienced, the Prostate Pro’s average girth (1.25″ diameter) will be easy, no problem to insert. The tip will of course need to be angling forward (toward both penis & bellybutton) in order to stimulate the prostate gland in front of the anterior rectal wall.
- As it progresses inward, you’ll sense the first and second bumps pressing into the anal canal. Continue inserting until you feel the prostate pressure. This may be up to an inch before the Prostate Pro’s full length.
- He recommends lying on one’s side in bed, top knee bent, after having angled the Prostate Pro’s base upward so the perineum point is right against the skin (right in front of the asshole, against the chode).
- 0.75″ length (the plug stem) remains outside for him, as the underside of the Prostate Pro’s top bulb presses at the prostate gland. Use the remote to change up the speed / intensity as desired. Remember to breathe deeply and think about whatever turns you on the hardest. Let the arousal come and go, building. Run a finger lightly, caressing, over either nipples and or the tip of the penis, to shoot up arousal even more.
- Last, you can reach to jiggle the base lightly, stroking a bit manually. With prostate play, pummeling the spot is not necessary (=don’t thrust too hard). You just want consistency, steady excitement.
Care & Cleaning
IPX7 Waterproof! The Bathmate Prostate Pro’s silicone can be submerged in the bath.
To clean, just use your normal handsoap and scrub the Pro’s black silicone under running water from your sink.
It’s USB rechargeable. The charging prong inserts here:
Recap & Rating
The Bathmate Prostate Pro is his new fave prostate pick-me-up. When playing solo, if his level of excitement is waning, this thing kicks — “cranks it up a notch,” he says. It’s instant increased pressure, and focusing on that, lightly kegeling around the firm tip, leads him to dripping and to hands-free wet orgasm with most uses. For the others, he finds it increases ejaculatory volume and he just cums harder, and 2× as long, when stroking his shaft following Prostate Pro usage.
