Lovehoney’s new Lifelike Lover Luxe Realistic Multicolored Dildo is a big step forward for Lovehoney’s own brand: a body-safe suction cup dildo that’s actually kinda soft! Before, Lifelike Lover Silicone dildos were either (1) too hard to feel actually lifelike; or (2) made of porous TPR/TPE or PVC.
At $40 list price (or less1), this Lifelike Lover Luxe in pink & purple bears a striking resemblance to the famous VixSkin Mustang dual-density dildo—for less than half Mustang’s price.
The Feel
Lifelike Lover Luxe Realistic Multicolored’s silicone is a 10A shore durometer, meaning it’s a little soft. The shaft is erection-like in firmness, while the big head is harder than a penis head.
I think the firmness is a great balance for single-density silicone: hard enough for G-spotting still, but soft enough that my vag isn’t overwhelmed. And the silicone is slick too—there’s not much drag, and no sticky feeling.
For many users, the not-too-squishy head will make this toy better for G-spot stimulation. As I thrust the Lifelike Lover Luxe Realistic Multicolored, its coronal ridge catches my G-spot and quickly produces that “I need to let go” kinda sensation that means I’m moving toward orgasm. Slow, steady strokes get me there with this Lifelike Lover toy.
If you want ultimate realism, I’d still recommend a dual-density silicone dildo: the superb squish of the VixSkin Mustang (a dildo I love to absolutely pummel my G-spot with), or the superior finish of the BMS Naked Addiction, or the lifelike firmness of the Uberrime Splendid’s protruding head.
The Suction Cup & More
This dildo has a very good suction cup. It’s big—most likely so that the toy’s softer silicone will still stay in place if you wanna wear it in a harness. I know I do: I keep taking pictures of myself with this toy strapped on.
And since the suction cup really sticks to smooth surfaces, the little pull tab is a convenient add-on. Much simpler to remove, from here, there, and everywhere.
I’ll admit my eye was first drawn to this toy because of the colors. Other Lifelike Lover Silicone dils are all flat pink, or black, or tan, so the two-color marbling is a welcome change. I hope to see the same silicone toy in less stereotypically “feminine” colors in the future too. (Blue & black, maybe?)
Overall Thoughts
The Lifelike Lover Luxe Realistic Multicolored Dildo is excellent as an affordable body-safe dildo. I can’t think of a more G-spot-friendly realistic option for under $40. The familiar shape, the two-color marble, and the strong suction cup add up to make this a silicone dildo I’m pleased to recommend.
