My Experience Testing the Xara Versa Vibrator

Huzzzah, the 3rd rabbit vibrator in 10 years that can actually satisfy me! I first looked at a sample of the Versa, was like, “Well this is different… Kinda weird?” —but what do know, its vibration was a pleasant surprise.

Testing the Xara Versa’s Flexibility: DVP and Girth

When I got the Versa, I was limited to thinking it was a normal rabbit vibrator. But after owning it for a few weeks, I realized the extra possibilities that unlooping the clit stimulator will give me:

Draw that smaller stimulator back, so I can use the bigger shaft deeper vaginally. (Up to and reaching the A-spot). Also, the wider space around the Versa’s open slot (where the clit arm can fit thru) expands the shaft’s girth—so it’s a more satisfying 1.8 inches diameter.

But the Versa’s two stimulators together are more zingy, more powerful: So what if I want deeper G-spotting and I also want the clit stim. motor going strong?

Where there’s a will, there is a way: DVP! I joke (you don’t want to take like a 4-inch-wide toy that will tear you!!), but I’ve taken toys way wider than this vaginally—still, the following usage isn’t for stretching noobs. Before, I’ve only used thick dildos to stretch: But with Versa, I suddenly discovered two vaginal probes at once– and OMG, the Versa made me a DVP convert.

Its flexibility helps as I was able to twist the smaller Versa probe to the side, and then let it expand inside me after only a couple minutes warm-up. It is so filling, then. I’m using the smaller stimulator over my G-spot—where it really presses in and focuses. Meanwhile, the Versa’s thicker simulator goes back for “deep spot” stimulation.¹

Xara Versa Vibration Functions and Strength

The Xara Versa has 2 motors, one per probe:

10 vibration functions × 10 vibration functions. (That comprises 5 speeds + 5 patterns per motor.) There are 4 steady speeds to start; and then sandwiched among the next 6 levels is another speed that feels non-patterned.

The G-spot vibration is as strong as any toy Lelo’s ever made, and the clitoral (smaller) vibrator is more powerful than that—stronger than the We-Vibe Nova’s clitoral arm.

I’d say the only rabbit stronger than this throughout, is the BMS St-Tropez: the St-Tropez’s G-spot motor is definitely more powerful vs. Xara Versa. These 2 toys’ clitoral vibrating power is close—I think the St-Tropez wins by a hair. But the St-Tropez is less flexible, so I’ve noted it’s unlikely to fit all C-to-V distances easily.

How to Use the Xara Versa: Positions and Configurations

4 Ways to Use It:

1. A dual vibrator: clitoral + vaginal / G-spot.
2. A G-spot vibrator only: Unloop the clitoral vibrator so the Versa forms a U shape. Only power on the larger shaft (don’t press the wavy button), then insert Versa vaginally.
3. A clitoral massager only: Ditto with #2 above, except rub the larger probe over the clitoris (rather than inserting it into the vagina).
4. Double vaginal penetration.
5. DP = double penetration of the vagina and the rectum (=anal).

The Versa comes wrapped to work the traditional way, dual clit + G-spot. For all other uses (numbers 2–5 above), you grip the back of the loop-handle, and pull gently to unloop the dual probe.

How to Control the Versa’s 2 Vibrating Motors

To turn on the Versa vibrator, hold down on the power button while counting to 3. The larger stimulator will begin vibrating.

To turn on the clitoral (smaller) vibration, tap the other button, with a wavy symbol on it.

To adjust vibration:

• Larger “shaft” motor: Tap the power button, again and again…., to cycle through all 10 vibration functions.

To power off both motors, hold the power button down for 2 seconds. Or, you can turn off the smaller motor only by holding down on the wavy button.

Care & Cleaning the Versa by Xara

IPX7 Waterproof. The Xara Versa’s fully silicone body can be submerged in the bath, or splashed in the shower. I’ve used it as a clit rubber-offer in the shower enough!
