VibePad Intense review – Hard Humps + Stronger Vibration, tested

This is a mixed review – about a grinder I’m *partly* impressed by, but that doesn’t work fabulously for my body. A grinder toy… whose motor is better, but whose control disappoints me. The VibePad Intense seemed set to shine – stronger & thrummmmy-er, its taller vibrating hump was, when I 1st turned it on:

Pros & Cons

Pros

• Grinding vibrator with the strongest big hump, vs. other grinder toys’ vibration.
• Rumbly timbre in front.
• Remote controllable.
• USB-C rechargeable.
• Smooth silicone.

Cons

• Can’t turn both bumps up to maximum power at once.
• Firm silicone is too hard for some folks’ sensitive bits to hump hard against.
• Long spacing between two humps makes it clit + anal stimulating, not clit + vagina stimulating, for me (and surely other vulva-havers).

The VibePad Intense is made of nonporous silicone all over, is 7.9″ total length, has a 3.15″ diameter × 2″ high and 1.4″ high humps, and is 4.1″ distance between the two humps’ peaks. It’s water-resistant, and is USB-C rechargeable.

How I Review & How I’m Funded

My Experience sittin’ on the “Intense” Pad

Motor #1. 10/10 the best motor I’ve sat on in a grinder toy so far – the front hump’s bigger vibrating power, that is. It rocks. Really good, closing in on the rumbly power of the best BMS vibrators (of which, the Swan Era and Rumble Rabbit r my favorites currently).

Update 2026: Hooooray, a rumblier vibrating grinder. The Thrill Ride by CalExotics (review) is extremely close in maximum power to the VibePad Intense, but has rumblier + more resonant vibration through 10 steady speeds (not just 3).

Motor #2 & control UX. The back, smaller bump can’t be turned on high power, except when it’s on a pattern. And I can’t control it separately. So that’s a sad button-control decision… whomp-whomp,

I would’ve liked to crank both motors up to their medium to maximum high intensities, running together.

I’ll call these two the front hump and the butt hump when I tell you about the:

Hump spacing. The VibePad Intense’s peaks are too far apart for my bod – I’m measuring 3.14 inches between where my clit sits and where butt-bump’s vibrating by my asshole. That’s the same as the VibePad Intense’s total width:

And it’s an inch and a half longer than average spacing between the clitoris and vagina.

And hey, I’m not opposed to clitoral and anal stimulation together – pair a Zen Rose and a Pure Plug, that’s awesome. Still, I overall prefer traditional dual stimulation, which is clitoral + vaginal.

Since I treasure vaginal sensation, including shallow play right at the “mouth” of the vagina, this VibePad’s spacing seems a confusing choice. Make those bumps tighter.

Silicone Feel. The silicone, as with the other VibePad grinding vibrators, remains firm. No squish, no give, no yield⚠️ here. This is not a soft humpable toy. It’s for anybody who strongly prefers pressure: firmer, pressing in harder.

Overall Orgasmic Success. So how is it, then – can I come on the VibePad Intense? I want to. I feel like I’ve gotten close… I’m enjoying the rocking waves from the front hump. When I turn it to a patterned vibe function (like function # 7), I do like how the butt bump *zings* my asshole. I’m just missing something… I go to my vagina plug box, and pull out a large G-squeeze soft silicone plug. Washing it, shaking the water off, and lubing it up, I’m moving fast to get its full-ness inside me – so that I can *then* sit on the VibePad Intense and truly enjoy my time with it.

In short, I like the VibePad’s larger motor a lot, but require a soft “pussy plug” as an extra tool to reach better orgasms.

Vibration Functions and Strength

I rate the VibePad Intense’s front hump from 6.0 to 7.6 (low to high speeds), out of 10 maximum vibration power. Its big-bump is decently rumbly vs. other grinders, too: from 9.0 to 7.5 out of 10 maximum rumble.

The butt hump is fairly buzzy, but less powerful – so it seems to balance well as it jolts a *zing* of energy toward my ass.

How to Use VibePad Intense toy

You can successfully use a grinder toy several ways, but most rely on your weight on top of the grinding humps.

How to Control

To turn on the VibePad Intense, press hard on the power button for 3 seconds. It will thrum quickly. Then, tap the button again to make it begin vibrating. Continue pushing the button to cycle through the remaining 9 functions,

Or use the remote control by pressing its power button, then tapping the 2nd button to move through the 10 vibration functions.

How to Position

The best way to use the VibePad Intense grinder toy, IMO, is:

1. Situate it over 2 pillows, on a bed.
2. Sit on top, straddling the VibePad: like cowgirl style.
3. The front hump should be touching your clitoris. Rock forward onto the bigger hump, gently moving your hips and butt.
4. Lean forward (down into the bed) to add even more direct clit pressure.

Care & Cleaning

The VibePad Intense is part of a new generation of vibes starting to employ USB-C recharging. It includes a USB-C cable, but you can also use a generic USB-C charger you use for your phone or other devices.

Technically it’s waterproof, but really, try submerging any phone with a USB-C port underwater for 29 minutes and see if it works normally afterward. I doubt it, as the USB-C port will get water in its open port. I consider USB-C port vibrators to be water-resistant = “splashproof,” meaning you can wash their surface with soap and water in the sink.

But, don’t use them in the bathtub, or let the USB opening sit in water.

As with all silicone sex toys, cleaning with soap and water is the way. You do not need extra cleansers, only a good scrub with soap – where soap surrounds any germs, and water washes them away after.

Recap & Rating the Intense VibePad

The VibePad Intense is tops for vibrating power among new grinding vibes (which run weaker than wand vibrators as a whole).

Its smooth silicone is an attractive color, and I appreciate the smaller size – it is legit easier to pack.

Personally I didn’t find it orgasmically intense alone, and needed to add a soft-silicone plug to get satisfied fully. But I know some folks truly love humping hard surfaces, like table corners – this grinder-vibe’s firm humps r better suited for that preference. Imagine a nightstand-corner but without sharp edges, add rock-me vibration and tingly back vibration: that’s the VibePad Intense.
