The Sugar Pop Jewel is like a Rose vibrator that doesn’t force me to do unnecessary cleaning, as a tradeoff for pleasure and “cuteness.”
This Jewel suction vibrator keeps the Inya Rose’s strong air-pulsing clitoral stimulation, its nightstand-worthy look, and its extra punch—with vibration running through all 10 functions. Both NS Novelties toys are 💥 on the clitoris; they may make you come fast.

Sugar Pop Jewel Functions: What’s It Do?!
The NS Sugar Pop Jewel is a clit toy that has 2 effects going on:
- It pulses air (like a Satisfyer / other air pulse stimulators).
- It vibrates.
Original air pulsation toys did NOT vibrate: This includes all current Womanizer models, the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation, and the We-Vibe Melt. (Womanizers are not vibrators!) But the Sugar Pop Jewel is a vibrator, one that also pulses out air.

And this air isn’t like a light breeze: Vibration makes air pulsation feel stronger. So, starting with the Lelo Sona, we have a range of air pulse stimulators that vibrate too, running under the puffing air:
- Every Rose vibe I’ve tried except Lovehoney Rose (which is like a low-key Womanizer)
- Vedo Suki
- Lelo Sona, all models: I rec. Sona 2 over Sona 2 Cruise
Lora DiCarlo Baci(discontinued)- Revelation by Adrien Lastic (sold out)
- Jewel Vibe
This is why you can have the $42 Rose vibe feeling as intense as the $199 Womanizer Premium. Vibration really does add more OOOMPH to this “clit suction” stimulation (as air pulsation toys are sometimes called).
So how strong is the Sugar Pop Jewel vibrator vs. the Rose and the Lelo Sona, etc.?

Strength vs. the Rose Vibe Etc.
I knew it was strong when I started comparing the Jewel to the We-Vibe Melt—my personal favorite air pulse clit toy since 2019 (over 3 years now).
The Jewel is stronger than the Melt, but not as strong as the Inya Rose: that NS Inya toy is the most powerful Rose vibe I’ve felt out of 12 Rose toys I own now. Both the Inya Rose and the Sugar Pop Jewel are made by NS Novelties—whose success as an air-pulse toy maker is pleasantly surprising.
The Sugar Pop Jewel’s highest intensity is like the Inya Rose’s lowest intensity. That may make the Jewel sound weak: but no way. The Jewel’s first speed is like jumping into the We-Vibe Melt’s 7th intensity. It is not weak in any way.

Everyone’s strength preferences will vary: some clits just need more stimulation to orgasm, while others are ultra-sensitive. The NS Jewel is for folks who like STRONG but want it to start out a little slower: like, 60 miles per hour vs. the Inya Rose cranking it up to 90 miles an hour in 1 second.
The Sugar Pop Jewel is also stronger than the Lelo Sona, too. (All versions of the Sona.) Its mouth is slightly larger than the Sona’s, and the Jewel’s vibration is more grinding on the higher two speeds; more noticeable.
So how did my clit fare under this multifaceted Jewel vibrator’s puff-power?
My Sugar Pop Jewel Experience
The Sugar Pop Jewel jolted to life when I pressed its power button the first time.
The first speed… Its mini bursts of air are strong, already. This one’s vaguely suctiony, when I get my clit situated right. It’s the only speed I can use comfortably for more than a few minutes straight, too! The “suction” isn’t a hard sucking stimulation—but IMO that’s good, air pulsing feels more sensual than the hard inflation of a clit pump, etc.

What about the Jewel vibrator’s strongest air-pulse plus vibration speeds? Well, the second level feels both more consistent and more insistent than function #1. It is puff-vibrating away. Then, function #3… Phew. It’s like the first function of the Inya Rose. That Rose’s ambition is to rock the clitoris like a sex toy earthquake, so: Even the lowest level is rocking. Surprisingly strong. Like, I need a 15-minute desensitizing warmup to be able to manage it comfortably. So, I’m sticking to “still strong but not atomic” kinda levels of the Sugar Pop Jewel:
That means my favorite way to use the Jewel is to linger on the first speed for about 5 minutes; then, crank it up to speed #2, and rock this gem’s base slowly, massaging around my clit, as I come. The seconds before orgasm are especially intense, more than with other vibes, because of the air pulse and vibration combo. Then, the orgasm fades and I am overstimulated. I’ll move onto the Pillow Talk Sassy’s wide, rumbly vibration on my clit for cool down… and subsequent orgasms.
The Sugar Pop Jewel does make me think of forced-orgasm play— it’s that strong. Magic Wands are the classic power tool to use on a partner you wanna “torture” a little, either making them hold off when they need to come hard or making them come repeatedly, even if they’re still sensitive.

My clit is sensitive to focused stimulation. I don’t like sharp points, or spikes, or concentrated pushing in with 1 finger width. So, I know I have to be in total control with the Sugar Pop Jewel. This is not a product I would use with a partner who didn’t know my preferences almost as well as their own tastes. Yes, the Jewel is still not as intense as the Inya Rose, true: But it’s strong enough that I am like, whoa, I need a break from the steady pulsing sometimes:
It’s those times when I’ll flip to the Jewel’s one gently-escalating pattern. It runs from lower-speed to pretty strong, but not the Jewel’s top intensity level. And that progression happens in the span of ≈8 seconds, on repeat. It’s a nice break for days when I am especially sensitive.
When I orgasm on the Sugar Pop Jewel, I can totally feel just how *hard* my clit is for about 3 seconds. Everything feels engorged. Then, it’s over, and I set aside the Sugar Pop Jewel because my clit wants a lil break after that.
The shape is easy enough to hold; conveniently palm-sized. Its not as simple as the We-Vibe Melt for fitting in along with a vaginal toy, but it’s passable—if the dildo isn’t large. The Melt is exceptional for me because when you’ve got it nestled over the clit, the Melt’s “mouth” opening is the end of the toy on the vag side: there’s nothing blocking penetration. Whereas the Jewel has 1 inch of faceted body there, extending toward my vagina and butt. See my attempt at a clean visual! ⬇️

So, with the Jewel I can only fit in slimmer toys, or ones I don’t need to thrust. The Avant D15 and Neo Elite 7.5 Inch’s first 5 inches are a success here.
The Jewel Travel Cover
Completing the “Jewel” theme, this vibrator includes a triangular cap. You can put the shiny cover on the Jewel when storing it, or carrying it with you. It prevents dust, lint, etc. from settling on the Jewel’s mouth if it’s sitting beside your bed. Or, if you’re traveling, it’ll guard against fuzz & grime inside your bag. See how it looks when on the toy, and once removed:

Cleaning, Woohoo!!!
I wanted to add more exclamation points to this heading title. Like, “Woohoooooo!!!!!!” because it’s easier. Versus the Rose, which is a total bitch to clean. Like an inconvenience, a hassle, and a frustration. As a mom, I got enough cleaning up to do; I don’t need a fun-toy to add more work into the mix.

But, the Jewel here doesn’t have a dozen little crevices for lube (and my wetness) to hide in. The Rose is awesome for power-lovers, but boy, you gonna be doing more work if you don’t want it looking crusty. In sharp contrast, the Sugar Pop Jewel has a smooth silicone hole that’s like light-years easier to clean out when I’m done.
The Jewel is just so much more practical. Run liquid soap and water over it, rub it down for 30 seconds. If you’ve got lube left in the hole (especially if you used a thicker gel lube, like my preferred Almost Naked), then insert a pinky finger (short fingernails only) or a wet Q-tip and run it around inside the circle.
You do not want to be inserting long fingernails into any of these air pulse toy mouths, as you might tear the silicone over the pulse plate. Short fingernails are more hygienic anyway, because long nails trap extra bacteria and fungus, as medical studies repeatedly show.1
Jewel Recap and Rating
The Sugar Pop Jewel is cute and strong; and doesn’t hold onto gunk like Rose vibrators’ petals.
For me, it’s also an improvement because it’s strong but not HOTDAMN-strong on the first vibrating pulse function. The Jewel’s for you if you do like powerful air pulse toys, with potent, yet teasing intensity to start. It has 2 lower intensities than the strongest Rose; I need that slightly slower start.
Only air pulse toys make me so aware of how hard my clit can throb, fully aroused, right before orgasm—and the Jewel’s vibration adds to the extra feeling.
It’s easy to hold for pure clit stimulation, but isn’t the very-best shape for using a vaginal vibrator, dildo, etc. as you get your clit air-plused. There, the We-Vibe Melt still wins for me. Yet, the Jewel is one that does practically pull the orgasms out of my clitoris, intense stimulation; and costs significantly less than the Melt. Overall, 4.28 out of 5 stars!

- There’s a wealth of research out there on microbes carried under fingernails, going back at least to the 1960s; a few examples are Table 1 (quick recap) in this 2020 Journal of American Academy of Dermatology paper. There’s some debate about whether nail polish inhibits or aids in microbial growth, but artificial nails have shown particularly problematic results, and healthcare workers are commonly required to keep fingernails trimmed to 2mm or less (less than 0.1 inch, real tight) past the nail bed for sanitary reasons. Here’s an easy-to-read article on the issue in which a biology professor gives perspective vs. a nail tech who says, “I encourage people to get them done… [because] it makes you feel amazing.” This reminds me of the time I got a PVC dildo (my first) and thought it felt amazing temporarily—even though it smelt like a shower curtain; till I learned softened PVC toys leach plasticizers (chlorine-based compounds & phthalates, at that time) into human bodies.
