Holy swirling tentacles. This is actually the first tentacle dildo I’ve been able to orgasm on, ever. The Octopus Prime’s arm spirals to form a head-like structure – but what I’m most excited about: This is an affordable fantasy sex toy that’s so soft + squishy silicone.
Other big brands’ “fantasy” toys have been serious disappointments, cuz the silicone is always firmer than indie fantasy-makers’ better silicone. This is different, legit super-soft silicone.
That, and how the suckered tendrils expand, then twist around the top, make it seriously wet play for my vagina – Everything I’ve found in testing for this Octopus dildo review:
Octopus Prime summary:
Super soft tentacle dildo. Expansive girth. Ideal softness + not expensive. 💙 the twirl (see how-to instructions, below). Awesome for wet fantasies.
Medium size & good suction base. Best under-$80 Octopus dildo, no question!!!

How I Review & How I’m Funded
All body-safe, zero BS. I only recommend body-safe toys I’d feel good suggesting to a close friend, and I don’t accept paid reviews, ads, or editorial control. If I wouldn’t give a toy to a close friend, then I won’t recommend it to you, either. I’ve tested over 1,205 vibrators, 595 dildos, and 165 butt plugs (and an array of cock rings, kink gear, and lubes!). Everyone’s preferences vary, so I rate vibrating toys by 1. power level and 2. rumbliness; and always describe how my personal tastes color my experience.
My Experience Getting Feeler-ed
Though I got into wide tentacle grinders (for the clitoris) a few years ago – definite orgasms there – tentacle dildos had evaded me, pleasure-wise. I just didn’t enjoy them before this. Why? Well, most tentacle dildos (most, imitating BD’s Ika) have this narrow little tip🤏(=so small) that just gets in the way the back of my vagina, poking; and doesn’t massage the good bits around my G-spot.
This Octopus Prime dildo is a different beast because it has a twist up-top – vaguely resembling a penis head ridge. It comes up into me, followed by the expansive winding girth lower down – and I’m coming after some clit stimulation warm-up.
Finally, orgasming on a tentacle dildo – I hadn’t been sure it was even *possible* for me, before Octopus Prime.
I like the suckered side more against the front wall of my vagina. Def. more stimulating textures, sidled up to massage the anterior vaginal lining – which shares more nerve endings with the internal clitoris, so it’s where I perceive most sensation inside. Riding on the Octopus Prime facing the right way, now this is a fun toy.
Tentacle Sex History
The whole “cephalopod sex” thing didn’t click with me when I first started reviewing fantasy dildos, but I thought it was interesting that other folks liked tentacle toys – and now I’ve learned more about octopus fantasies in erotic art. Looking at the Shunga style of Japanese erotic prints from artists like Hokusai – he who created “The Great Wave…” that you have definitely seen🌊👀 – we can see the start of tentacle erotica: see the highly recognizable “Dream of the Fisherman’s Wife” print / “Octopuses and Shell Diver,” ca. 1814.
Octopuses have been called “the closest we will come to meeting an intelligent alien,” and they have more neurons distributed throughout all 8 arms than in their central brain – crazy, and fascinating!
Octopus Squirting Sex?
The whole idea of wetness has really grown on me as someone who occasionally enjoys squirting play:
So it was both easy and hot for me to transition my mental fantasies into getting on with this squishy, writhing octopus dildo and creating a big large puddle. (Since I was safely positioned over my waterproof blanket, of course!)
I don’t actually end up squirting from vaginal play normally, but I can squirt when I rub the Octopus arm’s winding tendrils outside (over my clit). And really, it’s simply the thought of getting owned by the tentacles, getting all wet that’s the turn on:
Slightly risque (“fetish”??) and definitely different from my normal phallic (or yonic) fantasies – which is awesome because, you know, sometimes you get bored with normal sex.
It’s definitely the super soft silicone that makes this a really usable and fun toy for me. I do need hybrid lubricant on the multitude of suckers down the simulating front side. If this Octopus was harder silicone, it would suck for me – and not in the “good sucker-laden massage” kinda way. It’s the gentleness combined with the texture that is the magic of good fantasy dildos—
But why is the softer density here even more surprising, in Octopus Prime by Beasty Cocks?:
Octopus Prime dildo’s Silicone
Super-soft silicones have long been the gold standard for fantasy dildos, then for fantasy strokers and fantasy grinder toys – ever since Bad Dragon (BD) started super-softing around 2010.
Beasty Cocks is the first mass-produced brand with actually super-soft silicone. (I consider super-softs to be 00-50 Shore and softer, and this is 00-45: it’s really close to Bad Dragon medium density.)1
That’s versus most mass-produced toys, like Creature Cocks & other rando dildos out of China being only “kinda soft” – not super soft silicone. Beasty Cocks is actually the latter: a very squishy density, like most high-quality North-American-made / UK-made fantasy sex toys are.
How to Use the Octopus Prime
How to Position – Hands-free vs. Swirling
My best results from the Octopus soft dildo are when I:
- Be sure to lubricate the dildo first: I prefer the thick aloe of Solina Vera as my best safe lubricant (guide) — since it’s the slickest & still easy to clean off silicone dildos.
- Slowly twist the tip inside, so only half the tenta-dildo is in.
- Continue rotating the dildo side-to-side,
- While adding clit stimulation. (My new favorite clit vibrator to dil-do myself with, is the Swan Era strong mini-wand.)
- Thrust the Octopus a lil deeper as I get fully turned on.
- End by folding it so that the Octopus Prime’s base is sitting flat on my waterproof blanket, as its soft silicone shaft angles into me. This makes it so I can:
- Rock my hips, gently riding up ‘n’ down. The Octopus’ widest feeler-wrap pushes my inner labia open, then closed, then open again as I move my hips.
- At some point, I’ll orgasm from the popping, expansive sensation here,
- And finally, I’ll rub my clit off on the Octopus’ suckers, too.
Care & Cleaning Your Octopus Friend
To clean, just use your normal handsoap and scrub the Octopus Prime dildo under running water from your sink. Suds it up!
The lil suckers will take a teeny bit more scrubbing. Rub either your fingers or a Q-tip (cotton swab) harder over them. Use the Q-tip or a soft toothbrush (clean) if you have long nails. (Long nails will cut & indent soft silicone, as well as harbor more bacteria vs. neat-trimmed nails.)
Recap & Rating the Octopus Prime
Octopus Prime is novel because it’s erotic play that won’t cost you an arm and a leg, to pick up this tentacle/arm (octopus feelers are, technically, all “arms”!) in squishy silicone.
I like how the tentacle wraps, creating a head-like ridge – but then, the suckers, and the boy, this is thicker girth as the final twist crashes into my vagina’s opening, the soft waves caressing too. Texture-tacular? Only in super-soft silicone could this toy work, and it is both soft and silky, not sticky.
The verdict: Finally, a mass-produced tentacle dildo that doesn’t suck.

| Feature | Rating (out of 5) |
|---|---|
| Orgasms per dollar value: Real fuckin’ fun, progressing on the Octopus’ very soft silicone till I can take it all the way (6″ easily insertable). Squishy + wet is the way. | 4.8 |
| User experience/ Ease of use: Playtime, for sure. Takes you out of your normal routine, since its so different: swirl the spiraling arm, twisting it side-to-side; then move to taking the full width. Satisfying to smash my labia down onto the soft-waves base to finish. No complaints, except that you really need hybrid lubricant to avoid friction from the many suckers. | 4.9 |
| Luxury feel: Body-safe smooth silicone; packaging is sturdy, but slightly cheesy AI look. | 4.5 |
| Silicone Feel: Meets & exceeds the feel of handmade fantasy dildos. Soft, yet silky; not sticky. | 5.0 |
| Total | 4.8 of 5 ⭐s |
| Dimensions | 0.5–1.76″ width × 6.5″ length, insertable |
NOTE
- All Beasty Cocks are super-soft silicone density except for the Tentacle Depth probe “17-Inch Eel,” which – since it’s so skinny for its extra-long length – is smartly a “kinda soft” silicone. ↩︎
