I wouldn’t buy the Lovense Lush 4. Sure, the Lovense app is good for long-distance play. And it’s pretty strong vibration. But:
No Lovense Lush is a great G-spot stimulator. It’s a beaked + twiggy thing, that can’t possibly massage🤌 the G-spot. Instead, it sits still: Its “tail” too slim to use as a handle. In short, the Lovense Lush is a teasing vibrator, not a wham-bam💥 orgasmic one.
That’s fine, maybe you want a teasing sex toy – there’s a real place for them, on date nights and as foreplay. At least the Lush 4 has a better vibrating motor than the Lush 3 – which was a disappointment, not an upgrade. I’ve owned all Lovense Lush vibrator models released since 2017, and here’s how they compare after testing:

Full Pros & Cons of Lovense Lush 4
Pros
- Strong vs. other small “love egg” vibrators.
- New, rumbly (deeper) vibration to start.
- Full body-safe silicone coat.
- App maintains Bluetooth connection well.
Cons
- Stimulating, but not super orgasmic.
- Lovense promises a longer battery life of 5 hours, 50 minutes, but that’s rather misleading: Lush4 will only vibrate for 1 hour, 52 minutes on high vibration. It is 4 hours, 30 minutes on low.
- Lovense surpresses honest reviews. They will only send Lovense toys to influencers who are all 👅🟤🍑 about all their vibrators, all the time.

Lovense Lush Models Compared: Lush 4 vs. Lush 3 vs. Lush 2
All Lovense Lush vibrators have kept the same “bulb” shape, the part that goes inside the vagina. Each model’s tail is different, and the vibrating motors have changed over time too – not always for the better.
- Lush 1. The original. Power button was on the insertable bulb, so it was harder to turn off quickly.
- Lush 2. Strongest vibration of all Lushes. This was the classic Lush motor; no idea why they changed it. Kinky tail could be bent in different directions. Button now at end of tail. Improved Bluetooth.
- Lush 3. ≈ 30% weaker motor, straightened tail. The Lush’s tail no longer bends, so it can’t curve up to touch my clitoris as well. They claim this is “updated tail design,” but it feels worse against my body. It also feels like Lush 3 is missing the 2’s strongest vibration function! So sad.
- Lush 4. Regained about half the 30% power loss in Lush 3. Rumbliest low-speed of any Lush. Tail is still more rigid; ABS plastic added to show a colored LED light at end of tail. This could be good for web-cammers; it’s hard to see if you aren’t pointing a camera up close, though.
How Does the Lovense App Work? FAQ
The Lush is part of a generation of “bluetooth vibrators” born about a decade ago.
How do you connect to the Lush? The Lush’s tail holds a bluetooth antenna. You and your partner both download the Lovense app, which is free. You enter any email address (can be a throwaway) to set up an account, then choose whatever name you want. More on the specifics of how to use the Lovense long-distance vibrator app, here.

Do I need to be close to the vibrator before I can control it? Only 1 person needs to have a Lovense toy. The other partner can be in another state, or across an ocean, or in another hemisphere, never having encountered the vibrator in person. You just send an invite to connect.
Is it good for play in public? Yes, you can use it to control your partner from a few feet away, or from across the room. The Lovense Lush (vaginally worn) is quieter than the Lovense Ferri (clitoral vibrator) since it’s surrounded by the vagina, which cuts some of the vibrator’s noise.
Could I wear it at work? I mean…. maybe… it really depends on how loud the ambient volume at your workplace is. For me, the Lush falls out of my vagina like crazy, so I recommend extra support if you’re buying any wearable G-spot vibrator: a thick extra layer of shorts or supportive underwear.
My Experience Trying out Lush 4’s Vibrating Motor
I was glad to feel Lovense Lush 4’s first speed is lower-frequency = rumblier, when I turned it on.
I mean, it’s still not a Pillow Talk Sassy, but it’s better than the Lush 3. The version 4 Lush has more kick than the Lush 3 on high, too.

Vaginal insertion can definitely dampen vibration – my vagina is very sensitive to textures and firmness, but I still feel vibration more intensely on my clit than on my G-spot.
So if you’re getting an insertable vag. vibrator, you don’t want the weakest one.
I like the way the Lush’s vibration feels, but I’m not orgasming on it. I’m still not a fan of the pressure-point its “beak” forms. It seems like whoever created this shape, actually thinks the “G-spot” is a small discernible spot. That’s anatomically inaccurate. And so, this misunderstanding of the human body = the Lush is a lil bit uncomfortable inside me. But bearable.

The best Lush experience I’ve ever had unpartnered was when I stuffed a SquarePeg G squeeze (medium) behind it, uniting the two toys into this vibrating expanse of squishy-soft silicone + noticeable vibration.
Verdict: The Lush 4 alone: It’s OK, I guess.
The best Lush experience I’ve had with a partner was the time I was seeing a couple, and she came to our night-out prepared: with her own Lush. We were by the window at this fancy bar when she told me to control her toy. At times, she: opened her eyes wider, bit her lip, crossed her legs, and was flustered 😵💫when the bartender was taking her drink order – as I zoomed up-and-down the Lush’s vibration range, then left it higher. She didn’t come, either, but ’twas titillating for sure.
Why the Lush Vibrator is unlikely to be mega orgasmic
Most women & people with clits don’t orgasm from vaginal stimulation only. And the Lush is 95% a vaginal stimulator.
Overall, the Lovense Lush is a device best-suited for people (couples!!) who want any of:
- Light, teasing play, especially if they’re long-distance; and/or
- “In public” play like at a cocktail lounge, bar or music venue.
That’s not my style, of late – I’m single for the long run, and I want maximum masturbatory effectiveness at home.
G-spot stimulation is most likely to produce great orgasms when: You’ve warmed up clitorally first, and then you get onto G-spot massage. It’s repetitive, stroking downward motions (+ clenches) that can engage a full-body orgasmic response in some people.

Lovense Will Not Work with Reviewers who Actually Critique their Products.
My experience as a reviewer attempting to work with Lovense brand makes me think their marketing is super-shady. Since 2020:
- They’ve asked me to change a critical review;
- they’ve asked to use one of my images but didn’t want to credit it as my work;
- they’ve sent out an email asking me to promote a vibrator I didn’t even own with a strategy sheet on what I should say about it (not just an outlined features list, this was very specific);
- they will dictate to influencers the exact date they should post about a new product, hoping it will make the toy more visible (Womanizer also does this);
- they’ve told me I should post on Reddit about their products more;
- they’ve emailed me to advise that I could make more money if I promoted their toys more highly. 🤦🤦🤦
As an independent reviewer, I have a real aversion to companies that think my opinions can be either bought or pushed around. I am self-employed, yo, and I’m fortunate to have other work I (usually) enjoy too.
Does Lush 4 have better battery life? How long can you wear it for?
Lovense advertises up to 350 minutes (that’s 5 hours, 50 minutes) of battery life per recharge.
I tested the Lush 4’s battery life as 4 hours, 30 minutes running on the lowest vibration function – so, 80 minutes short of the claim. It lasts 1 hour, 52 minutes on the highest vibration function.

Vibrator batteries always last longer when you use the toy on its lowest function. It’s possible that the Lush 4’s “standby mode” – where the vibrator could be turned on via bluetooth, but is not actually vibrating – is longer in Lush 4.
Is Lovense Lush 4 worth buying in 2025? Recap.
The Lovense Lush 4 will undoubtedly sell a lot of copies, and it’s an OK vibrator. It’s just overhyped, and Lovense doesn’t give a sh*t about steamrolling honest reviews.
I could orgasm on the Lush with a partner’s help, but it’s more about the “scandal” of public play. One day I hope I’ll find a vaginal vibrator that’s as strong as Lush 2 was, but without the hard pointy beak.
You could buy a Lovense Lush 4 if you & your partner are excited by vibrator control while on a date – looking for the naughtiness of it.👀 I’ll be over here waiting for a powerful alternative from a company not bent on domineering control & quashing criticism. Don’t hold my beer, I can wait.
| Feature | Rating (out of 5) |
|---|---|
| Fun per dollar value: Classic “I mean it’s fine I guess” for me. Like, it’s pretty strong, but I’m still confused why this toy is so popular – oh wait, it was Lovense pouring tons into ads so that every cammer & P.Hub performer is having some huge *reaction* while using it. It’s fun enough if you don’t know that BS, and you’re wanting a teasing date-night toy, not like a Pure Wand-level great G-spot toy. | 2.0 |
| User experience/ Ease of use: Easy enough to use, except that mine will slide out of my vagina when I walk. Really have to sit on the thing, or wear extra under-garments. Button control is simple. App still is the best vibrator app UX. Creating an account to pair long-distance takes a minute, but after that it’s smooth. No Lovense account needed if you’re just controlling your own vibrator with your phone. | 3.0 |

Hello, this is off topic but I saw your review of the solina maxima, but was wanting more length with the package since I like how it looks. From your favorites, the jock uncut is the largest one with those parameters right? I hope they make a solina mega xl with balls. I think the maxima would be a good first starter anyways, I saw you hold the hock and was rethinking it since it looked so big lol
What do you recommend for use with the GSqueeze then for when my gf pegs me?
If she’s up for the size of the Lush + G-squeeze! Even the small G squeeze makes a pretty thick pairing with the Lush’s firm point sticking out.
You mention that Lush’s tail can’t be used like a handle to navigate to your g spot? I’d like to navigate. Which toy can be used like the tail is a sturdy handle ? Do you know of any ?
You need a normal G-spot vibrator if you want a sturdy handle. You can either have a hands-free wearable toy (an egg-style, like Lush), or you can have a real G-spot vibrator where you can use the handle for positioning and stroking. Unfortunately there’s nothing that does both super-well, because a substantial handle adds weight that makes any toy come out of the vagina when it’s worn. It’s an either/or situation, can’t have both in the same product – it’s like asking for a vibrator that’s super-powerful, but also really quiet – such an item just isn’t possible in this universe; maybe in an alternate dimensions somewhere 😄
