Glossa Vibrator Review – Speedy Tongue!

Speed lickin’. The Glossa vibrator that Peepshow Toys just brought in has a serious tongue. This thing moves, fast. It’s not teeny-tiny like so many other tongue vibrators, too – so that’s a win for more realistic clit stimulation.

But does the Glossa succeed as being as good as other automatic vibrators I’ve tested this year? Mostly. My full Glossa vibrator review details how this fast-tongue toy functions, where it succeeds and how it can be improved:

Glossa Vs. Similar Licking, Pulsing Rabbit Vibrators

First, I really like that this sells for half the price that Playboy toys / Evolved have sold their Playboy Harmony (same product, but green) for over the last 2 years ($109.98). (The Glossa’s pink tongue is cute, too.)

The Glossa’s tongue moves the distance between my 2 fingers quickly, and will easily bend for adjustable positioning.

The Glossa vibrator ($59.99) acts with actual tongue motion outside. It’s not a standard mouth toy since it’s neither a pumping suction toy nor a “clit suction” air pulse stimulator. Instead, the Glossa’s tongue vibrates while moving back-and-forth: often called “licking.”

How the Glossa Toy Works, My Experience

Every time, I’ve loved how the tongue flies on this vibrator and it does not poke. —At last, a tongue toy that isn’t jabby-stabby in a fine point! This is… closer to human tongue size.

The Glossa’s silicone tongue is rounded and smooth.

At the same time, it produces this extremely rumbly vibration. (Not high-pitched / not buzzy.) My only minor issue was a slight learning curve about getting the Glossa positioned. What you must know:

  1. Have lubricant applied. Even if you don’t require it for the slim vaginal probe, you will need it for the clitoral licking tongue. If you dropped your favorite body-safe lubricant off your nightstand, do not – I repeat, do not – try to use it unlubricated: the toy will be less fun.
  2. Angle the handle so that it’s roughly parallel to your legs. (Angling it upward toward the belly lessened the G-spot pressure for my body.)
  3. Build up the Intensity. Start on the slower tongue speed, then turn up to speed #2 and beyond. Press the tongue’s flexible silicone harder against the clitoris as you become aroused. Last, hold the toy’s handle and lightly thrust it to reach a blended orgasm.

These 3 steps turned the Glossa from “that’s nice” to “this is VERY stimulating and I can actually climax well from this toy.” Mainly, it was playing with the angle adjustments for the firm G-spot curved shaft – then letting the speedy tongue get more up close ‘n’ personal after I was warmed up.

I even found myself wondering if Glossa would become a squirt-inducing sex toy for me – meaning the Gspot pressure + rubbing is very present.

The Glossa’s tongue can stimulate at speeds over 200 tongue “licks” per minute.

Overall, I found over 8 test sessions that the Glossa vibrator’s “hero” effect is how darn fast its wide tongue moves. The G-spot vibrator is firm and applies pressure in the right place, but the pulsing / tapping G-spot function (it “taps” on both the front and back) is not nothing, but is more lightly felt in real usage. That’s because it has a smaller range of motion vs. the tongue’s licking.

The Glossa’s internal pulsating spot is harder to catch blurred via a quick photo, since it doesn’t cover as much distance as the lapping tongue below it.

That’s the reverse of my favorite automatic moving rabbit vibrator from last year, the Glossa by Xara Toys:

Glossa’s Effectiveness vs. Xara G-stroke!

Xara G stroke stands next to Glossa vibrator on a eucalyptus bedspread, in front of white pillow
Xara G stroke’s head curls back and forth more, versus the Glossa vibrator’s tongue performing the more noticeable motion.

For me, the Glossa is more thrilling initially b/c gawwwd that tongue. I then linger with it, and take a bit longer with it. It’s a “lay back on the weekend in bed” toy for when I’m more relaxed and have time. (I can find it satisfying within 10 minutes – but that takes a bit of manual thrusting to amp up the G-spot level for my body.)

But with the G-Stroke, this is definitely the toy you want if you are into G-spot stimulation (tips) like I am. G-Stroke’s lazy self-propelled massage is just easier late at night before bed — which is often what I want.

Pros & Cons of the Glossa Vibrator

Pros:

  • Large tongue licks + gives rumbly vibration.
  • Very flexible: Tongue will bend to fit clitoral positions.
  • Independent control of 2 motors: tongue vs. internal probe.
  • Body-safe silicone.
  • Waterproof, rechargeable, 1-year warranty.
  • Tongue is quieter than air pulse “clit suction.”
  • Discreet black gift box for storage.

Cons:

  • Subtle G-spot pulsing is unlikely to satisfy anyone who likes hard, dramatic pressure. (This does not have an intense bulb as seen in Njoy Pure Wand.)
  • Moderate G-spot vibration.

Who the Glossa Is Best For:

The Glossa is good for interesting clitoral stimulation, more than anything. Glossa’s moving tongue is the star here – the vibrating shaft is a strong supporting role (but not unforgettable by itself). This body-safe toy is likely a good fit if you:

  • Prefer rumbly clitoral vibration over higher-pitched POWER vibration.
  • Like your clitoris rubbed, licked, or manually massaged instead of sucked on.
  • Enjoy dual clitoral + vaginal stimulation, with the emphasis on the clitoris.
  • Want to try a rabbit vibrator with an automatically moving external stimulator.
  • Like oral-style stimulation but want something quieter than most suction toys.

Not Ideal For:

  • Anyone needing either: rock-solid G-spot stimulation, or the strongest clitoral vibrator.
  • People who dislike vaginal toys or often find penetration uncomfortable.

Care & Cleaning (Body-Safe Silicone)

IPX7 Waterproof! The Glossa vibrator’s silicone + ABS plastic body washes easily under running water and can be used in the shower.

To clean, apply your normal handsoap to the Glossa’s silicone. Then, lather it all up, and scrub the Glossa under running water from your sink for ~30 seconds after each use.

It’s USB magnetic rechargeable. The charging contacts are located on the back of the handle:

Final Verdict on Glossa Vibrator by Peepshow Toys

The Glossa vibe is a fun jaunt when I want a vibrator what will lick it good. Most tongue toys are these tiny things, and it’s really rare to have a wider tongue as the clitoral stimulator in a “rabbit” dual vibrator – not to mention, the vibration is legit rumbly; always deep at under 80 Hertz.

Overall I’ll return to it occasionally, and recommend it most heartily to people who love tongue-lapping over their clitoris. Just spread on your thick lubricant to enjoy it.

Unique clitoral stimulation from wide, fast paced tongue. 200+ licks per minute. Firm curved G-spot vibrator with fast but less-noticeable tapping. Fun double stimulation, building intensity.

User experience/ Ease of use:
Once lubricant is applied, the shaft slides in easily and the tongue feels great. Love the big, quick movement. Spend a few minutes finding your best angle for the G-spot curve. Works well when you increase the tongue’s speed over 5–10 minutes. Shaft’s tapping isn’t as noticeable as the tongue. Still, works well for blended O’s when using the handle to thrust it & increase the G-spot stimulation.
