3 years into trying a buttload of prostate toys, my partner’s reached some very firm conclusions about what makes a prostate dildo great – and how to get better P-spot pleasure with less struggle. (While always using safe materials, to avoid porous and potentially toxic PVC dildos.) This guide breaks down the best prostate dildos we’ve tested, comparing shape, firmness, and use cases for prostate stimulation.
Affiliate links support the 1,300+ total dildos we’ve evaluated. Our rankings reflect years of hands-on testing, not just short-term trials of each product.
The top prostate dildos share 3 important traits. But even in the best prostate stimulation sex toys, some designs perform better for specific types of use:

Best Prostate Milker
Peak Dildo, Summary
Best for: Focused prostate milking, solo play without wrist strain, and P-spot focused pegging.
Feel: Super-soft platinum silicone with a dramatic curved ridge: 75% Soft (slightly firmer) silicone best for XS & SM small sizes, vs. 40% Soft density tested best for MD size and up. Now in 6 size options.
Why It Works: Maintains strong prostate contact at normal human movement speed: The ridge is more intense vs. any soft silicone dildo we’ve tested.
Not Ideal for: High-speed sex machine use unless you select the 40% (Extra Soft) silicone.
View product details. For new dildo users, we recommend no bigger than size SM = small, and size XS is easiest. In contrast, Size MD (40% Soft silicone) is great for extra-filling prostate play (expansion anally, plus prostate impact) for folks who’ve owned a few prostate dildos before.
For focused solo play, the Peak dildo is the strongest prostate-focused toy we’ve tested for hands-on milking – now streamlined and in extra size (including XS!) to guarantee it doesn’t hurt if thrust at a normal, faster pace. This design was made specifically to milk it hard, even in the softest silicone (40% Soft). This balance means no slightly “bruised” feeling afterwards, yet he’s able to climax in under 10 minutes every time with size SM or MD. It’s less ideal for high-speed machine-mounted usage, but for manual milking and intimate strap-on play: it seriously outperforms standard designs.
It requires less motion because the ridge keeps pressure. Now, the new Peak 2.0 dildo is slightly smoother (but keeps the big, jutting ridge), so that it is comfortable to thrust, not only rock / jiggle slowly. Which size to pick?, since there are 6 Peak P-spot sizes now?
- If you’re new to anal, go with the XS in 75% Soft for comfort, or in Medium-Firm silicone for extra pressure.
- For anyone with some experience using wider toys, the size SM = small in 75% Soft is the best accessible size.
- And for A+ filling for my partner, size MD = medium in 40% Soft is cushy and big, but still cozy:
- While sizes LG through 2XL are for true size queens / size royalty – you know who you are, and you know how to read circumference dimensions carefully.
The Peak dildo doubles as my all-time easiest pegging dildo — where I get to go in the slowest strokes (less sweat!) and still deliver more prostate impact than with VixSkin Mustang & all other silicone dildos. The Small, 75% Soft, is our top choice for strap-on results. Our hands-on testing of this collab. with Hankey’s Toys detailed in our full Peak Dildo review.
Strongest Prostate Dildo Overall
Pure Wand, Summary
Best for: Deep, prostate stimulation with maximum firmness and weight.
Feel: Ultra-firm stainless steel with a pronounced curve and heavy P-spot focus.
Why It Works: The weight does the work — sustained pressure + dramatic curve for grip as you rock the weight back-and-forth.
Not Ideal for: Short sessions, fatigue-free play. Requires deliberate positioning to keep pressure focused.
View product details
Often called the “Njoy prostate wand,” this stainless steel toy is powerful because it combines serious weight with an emphatic curve. That gives you unbending P-spot pressure, no matter whether you use the 1″ bulb or the 1.5″ bulb.
This prostate dildo is legendary for giving full-body orgasms, once you know how to use Njoy Pure Wand for prostate. It does require you know how to lay and either: brace the Pure Wand’s weight under your body (curved toward your tailbone), or keep it positioned with your hand (curving toward your front) — to maintain its focus on the P-spot.
He’s found that you must dedicate a good 2–3 hour block to getting into Pure Wand play, because it requires some prep and can take you on a ride once you’re in “the zone” with its strong prostate play.
The Pure Wand is heavier, and may be more difficult for larger bodies to grip and maneuver (and really, anyone can get tired of making sure the Pure Wand stays positioned correctly, instead of flopping to the side). If instead, you’re wanting 100% hands-free prostate dildo use without a partner, then consider a machine-driven dildo:
Best Prostate Dildo for Sex Machines
Maxima Dildo, Summary
Best for: Prostate play on powered sex / fuck machines at controlled speeds.
Feel: Soft dual-density silicone with forgiving shape under repeated thrusting.
Why It Works: Wide soft head strokes the prostate great with repeated strokes.
Not Ideal for: Manual milking (too flexible) or slow speeds. Performs best at medium-fast machine speeds.
View product details
For fuck machine use, prostate toys behave very differently than they do during manual or strap-on play — since good machines like our top-rated sex machines deliver up to 300 thrusts per minute. (That’s blazing fast, speedier than a human hand or hips can move.)
His tests revealed that a soft dual-density silicone dildo, the Maxima, performed very satisfyingly on a Premium 120-watt machine — when the speed was adjusted to a medium to medium-fast speed. Shaking, 10-minute orgasms resulted within half an hour when testing the Solina sex machine at speed 40–70 out of 100 speed settings.
Safety: Start slow and use gently shaped prostate dildos when automating motion. A powerful machine’s top speed is actually overkill for prostate milking (Peak dildo review explains why). For both anal safety and results, we suggest: work on mental focus (how-to tips, next) while the machine moves at slower speeds for prostate stimulation. If you try moving a firm & focused prostate dildo at super-human speed plus at an extreme angle, then it will feel abrasive at best (and injurious at worst).
Our Solina dildo comparison guide gives the full story on all their dual-density silicone toys.
Best Beginner Prostate Dildo
Neo Elite 7.5″, Summary
Best for: First-time prostate exploration – soft silicone on a budget.
Feel: Firmer dual-density silicone with a modest, targeted ridge.
Why It Works: Maintains prostate focus without: overwhelming size, or underwhelming softness.
Not Ideal for: Ultra-soft feel lovers or advanced prostate milking.
View product details
The Neo Elite 7.5″ with Balls has held up as a solid choice for prostate exploration: it’s affordable and not very girthy. This is a firmer dual-density silicone dildo — and because silicone comes in a wide range of firmness levels, its smaller ridge makes firmer contact vs. ultra-soft designs in the same 1.4″ width.
The result is solid prostate contact despite the smaller head, with a ridge that’s focused (though not as strongly milking as the Peak dildo).
For under $40 ($35.99 at time of writing), it makes sense for testing the waters as a beginner realistic dildo that feels real enough before committing to more prostate-dedicated premium designs. We cover sizing, firmness, and prostate performance in more detail in our full Neo Elite dildos review.
Best Glass Prostate Dildo
Purple Rain (Glas) — Summary
Best for: Firm prostate pressure with minimal drag and temperature play.
Feel: Slick, rigid glass with a rounded bulb and segmented grip.
Why It Works: Zero flex delivers clean, focused prostate contact. Great for warming up before use.
Not Ideal for: Highly sensitive prostates or users preferring soft silicone.
View product details
You can get some really good milking going on with rigid glass — it’s slick, firm, and delivers cleaner pressure with less drag. That said, glass usually isn’t ideal for highly sensitive prostates that prefer super-soft silicone.
He does prefer soft silicone as a whole, but for variety, will opt for the Purple Rain Glas dildo for its prostate-targeting rounded bulb.
This dildo’s smooth end has a very slick feel — he especially likes it for temperature play. That means, you warm the glass under warm (not too hot) running water, then insert it for pre-heated P-spot dildo sensation. Then, its segmented ridges (4 of them, for 4 fingers) function for better grip when fingers are very lubricated.
Glass dildos behave very differently from silicone. If you’re comparing materials, we dive into the best glass dildos we’ve tested.
How a P-Spot Dildo Is Different vs. a Standard Dildo
What is a prostate dildo, specifically? A prostate toy must:
- Have a forward curve of at least 20 degrees, and/or:
- Have a large bulb or large ridge that sticks out.
- Are made only of body-safe dildo materials.
This extra angle allows a toy to more easily access the prostate gland, which is located by applying pressure through the rectum. The prostate’s actual location1 is in front of the rectum (toward the penis & belly side of the body), so it’s touched indirectly via either fingers or a toy.
This “not direct contact” anatomical reality means strong prostate dildos must include the extra “oomph” of a big hard bulb, or a dramatic forward curve. Indeed, the prostate is often called the “male G-spot” because, like the G-spot: it requires strong forward pressure, and can deliver next-level shaking orgasms for some but not all people who engage in P-spot stimulation.
How to Prostate Orgasm on Dildo
A classic beginner mistake is trying to hammer the prostate into pleasure — thinking that harder thrusting will unlock some hidden switch.
Instead, hands-free prostate orgasms (and especially the “super-O”) come from letting your muscles take over naturally, from a calm & relaxed place amidst steady massage. Call it rewiring if you want — practically, it’s learning to relax both your thoughts and your P-spot on purpose.
Relaxation Is the Foundation
Slow breathing is the key. Long, calm exhales. Your only real goal at the start is being relaxed and present in the moment — which turns out to be harder than it sounds.
Over time, you learn to pay attention to subtle sensations within, and can ride the “ebb and flow” of prostate-based arousal into stronger climax. This is most critical with Aneros (Psy review) prostate toys, but it’s true of prostate dildos too.
Kegels: Useful, but Easy to Overdo
Kegels are light contractions of the PC muscles that support the prostate. It’s important to know how to engage them gently — not max strength.
When you are new to prostate stimulation (via a dildo or any other toy) you can identify the right muscles by briefly stopping urine flow once or twice (don’t make that a habit).
Strong kegels alone won’t get you to climax: The best prostate sessions come from relaxation + breathing, with kegels used sparingly. Instead:
A Simple, Tested Way to Get Started
Use this as a framework, not a checklist. Biggest rule: don’t force anything.
1. Get comfortable.
Lose tight clothes. Lie down somewhere you won’t rush.
2. Breathe first.
Slow, deep breaths. Exhale longer than you inhale. Let your belly soften.
3. Let thoughts drift.
Your mind will look for distractions. Notice them, then return to breathing.
4. Lightly wake the PC muscles.
Barely clench — maybe 10–20% effort — then relax.
5. Build body awareness.
Gently move your toes, relax, then imagine the movement without doing it. Work upward through legs, belly, shoulders, head. This trains awareness instead of tension.
6. Introduce the dildo slowly.
Fully lubed up, guided by your hand. Don’t push — tease, pause, let your body accept it a little at a time. Manual control is your advantage here. You can go as slowly as you need, no rush.
7. Find the right angle and depth.
Small adjustments help with finding the spot — you’ll feel a sudden sense of intensity when you’re there, applying light pressure. Let the dildo rest against the prostate rather than thrusting continuously.
8. Begin with slow, purposeful strokes.
A prostate dildo need only move about half an inch at time, to start. You should sense the beginnning of arousal. Move intentionally to longer thrusts after 2–5 minutes’ warmup.
9. Keep breathing. Let contractions happen.
Don’t chase them. If contractions come, allow them. Additionally, think about turn-ons. Notice new sensations without trying to cling to them or force faster action.
10. If sensation fades, add light stimulation.
Brush nipples lightly. Barely touch the head of the penis — no stroking. Think signals, not friction.
11. Be patient.
It’s normal to get close and not quite get there early on. This isn’t “practice makes perfect” — it’s experience makes P-spot orgasm easier.
When a prostate orgasm happens, it often comes in waves: contractions building on their own, pleasure spreading through your core and limbs. Time will almost seem to stretch out or fade away, as you enter a flow state.
These steps are listed in an order he often experiences, but you may skip middle steps or move in a different way. If something feels right, it probably is. Listen to that — your body’s better at this than your brain.
FAQ
What does prostate massage with a dildo feel like?
Prostate massage feels very different depending on the dildo and how it’s used. With the right shape and firmness, it often starts as a deep, focused pressure rather than instant pleasure. As arousal builds, many people experience waves of sensation that spread through the pelvis and body, sometimes leading to hands-free or full-body orgasms. Softer or poorly angled toys can feel pleasant but may not deliver enough pressure to really engage the prostate.
How far inside is the prostate, and how do you find it?
The prostate is usually about 2–3 inches inside the rectum, on the front wall toward the belly. With a curved finger or prostate dildo, it often feels like a small, firm bump or walnut-sized area. Gentle forward pressure, not deep thrusting, is what reaches it.
What size prostate dildo should beginners start with?
Most beginners do best starting with a dildo no wider than 1.25 inches in diameter, with a gentle curve. Smaller sizes make it easier to relax, insert comfortably, and learn how prostate stimulation feels before moving up in size.
How do you massage the prostate with a dildo?
Use a well-lubed, body-safe dildo with a forward curve, and start slowly. Instead of fast thrusting, focus on small, controlled movements or gentle pressure against the front wall of the rectum. Many people get better results by holding the dildo at the right angle and letting arousal build naturally, rather than forcing motion. Deep breathing and relaxation make a bigger difference than speed.
Can you have a prostate orgasm without touching your penis?
Yes. Many people experience prostate orgasms without any direct penis stimulation. In fact, avoiding stroking can make it easier to build deep, full-body prostate sensations, especially once you’re relaxed and aroused.
How long does it usually take to reach a prostate orgasm?
For beginners, it can take 20–60 minutes or longer per session, and for some people it takes many sessions over months or longer to experience a prostate orgasm — if it happens at all. With experience, relaxation, and the right technique, some people reach strong prostate orgasms more quickly.
It’s also completely normal to never have a pure prostate orgasm, much like how not everyone experiences G-spot orgasms. Many bodies respond best to blended stimulation of the prostate and penis, which can still feel significantly stronger than penis stimulation alone.
Can you damage the prostate with a dildo?
Serious injury is unlikely when you use the right size, plenty of lube, and move slowly. The most common issue isn’t the prostate itself, but small tears in the anal tissue from using a dildo that’s too wide or forcing insertion. A good rule of thumb is to size up gradually and listen to your body — pain, sharp discomfort, or numbness are signs to stop. Extra care is important with very firm materials like stainless steel or glass, since they don’t flex.
What type of lube works best for prostate dildos?
A thick, long-lasting lubricant works best for prostate play. Water-based lubes are safe with all toys but may need reapplication, while silicone lube provides more glide and lasts longer (though it is much more difficult to clean off silicone toys, and is generally not compatible). For ingredient safety, see our guide to best safe anal lubricants.
How do you clean a prostate dildo?
Wash body-safe prostate dildos with warm water and mild, unscented soap after each use. Clean thoroughly around ridges and curves, then rinse well and let the toy air-dry completely. For extra hygiene, non-vibrating glass or silcone dildos can be boiled for a few minutes, optional — but dishwashers are not recommended, as detergents can damage silicone, and home dishwashers don’t reliably sanitize.

The Peak dildo appears to have been discontinued by Mr. Hankey. Back to the testing center!
Hi, it’s being revamped! The new version will still have a large P-spot focus, but is more streamlined for thrusting faster (versus the original being a slow milking kind of toy).
